Annabelle nervously looked in the mirror, her wavy long chestnut her was down with simple makeup playing on her face. A red plaid skirt with a velvet red boot and black jacket with a thin v-line crop sweater. She sprayed her perfume on herself, feeling nervous.
The brunette had a boyfriend only once in her life and they had a tragic breakup which consisted on him cheating on her with her sister, Beatrice. Now, the boyfriend Beatrice left Denver with happened to be Annabelles boyfriend. The next few months of her life was a wreck.
Anthony, her first boyfriend, had been her first everything. Her first kiss, her first date, her first valentine, the first man to touch her. She didn't understand how Beatrice would do that to her but she soon got over it and the sisters blocked each other from all and every social media.
"You look great." Rebekah assured as they walked out of Annabelles room. "You'll have them wrapped around your finger with the snap of your finger." She smiled but the brunette didn't seem convinced so the blonde stopped her. "You're a women, use it. Bring Jeremey Gilbert down on his knees, begging for you."
Annabelle chuckled "Yeah, fingers crossed that he's not actually on his knees, puking from how bad our date will go. Or because he's praying that he'll never see me again, or—"
"Oh, enough of your whining." Kol rolled his eyes when they make it down the stairs. He turned around to see Annabelles appearance and his lips gaped at the sight. "You should get going," he told her after he pushed himself out of his trance. "Wouldn't want to keep our Gilbert boy waiting, would we?"
"Yeah. Right." Annabelle mumbled, she walked over to Kol and he raised a brow, tensing as she kept moving closer. Once their body touched, her arms went to his back pocket, keeping eye contact with him and she pulled out his wallet and car keys "Thanks!" She cheered, quickly leaving before he could protest.
Kol turned to Rebekah, his lips parting with his eyes waiting for an explanation on what had just happened "She just distracted you for your car and money." She laughed, walking away.
Annabelle took his Jeep and drove to Mystic Grill, humming softly to the radio. Once she reached, she parked the car and got out, pulling her skirt up then making her chest slightly visible. She didn't want to disappoint the Mikaelsons. She ran a hand through her hair then walked in the Mystic Grill.
Her teal eyes immediately met Jeremys. It had just turned 5 o'clock. Jeremy stood by the pool table and she walked over to him while he took in her appearance. "Hey." She smiled.
Jeremy smiled back "Hey." He breathes out, inspecting her outfit. "You, um, look beautiful." He complimented making her let out a soft chuckle. "Have you ever played pool?"
"Yeah." Annabelle smiled confidently "I'm quite good at it." She bit her bottom lip, pulling her skirt down once she realized more eyes were on her. "We should order drinks first. I'll go get a milkshake, want anything?"
"No, I'm paying." Jeremey declared, smiling softly.
"No, it's fine." Annabelle wanted to use Kols money as a punishment for making her go on this date. She knew it wouldn't affect him since he could compel more money and he rarely uses the money. "I can handle it."
Jeremy shrugged and nodded. "I'll just get some coke." He stated making her smile widely with a small squeal and she walked away until he stopped her. "How about we pay for ourselves?"
Annabelle turned to him "Sure." The two walked over to the cashier and began ordering. Jeremey noticed that some guys were staring at Annabelle so he decided to put an arm around her. She looked up at him with a chuckle while he slightly smiled sheepishly.
Once they got their orders, they walked back to the pool table and began to play while chatting. Annabelle would avoid bending over the table. She internally cursed at Rebekah for making her wear a skirt at such date.
Just then, the same brunette by the name of Elena, walked over to them. "Hey, Jer." She waved then looked to Annabelle. Her lips pursed and she eyed her for a moment "I'm Elena, his older sister." She introduced.
"Annabelle." She looked at Jeremy who was looking at her, his lips up to a smirk "His date."
Elena looked at Jeremey in disbelief "You didn't tell me you had a date." She frowned.
Jeremey was slightly annoyed that his sister interrupted their date, especially since she had nothing important to talk about "Because it had nothing to do with you." Jeremey answered and Annabelles lips purse at the awkward tension.
Elena let out a small scoff then sent Annabelle a small smile and turned on her heel, walking away. Jeremey looked at Elena "I'm sorry." He sheepishly apologized.
"It's fine. I have an older sister. I get it." Annabelle smirks and he returned it, staring deeply into her eyes.
The date went on with Jeremey enjoying it and Annabelle counting the seconds, eager for it to be late. Once it reached 10:30, she pretended to pout and check her phone, as if checking the time. She looked back up to Jeremey.
"It's late, I should get going." Annabelle walked closer to him, putting a flirtatious hand on his chest "I had fun, we should do this another time." She smiled, hesitantly leaning up and giving his cheek a small kiss, when she pulled away, she looked into his eyes and he leaned in but she quickly walked away.

Annabelle slipped on her shirt as she walked out of her bedroom, her hair up in a messy ponytail. Kol laid on her bed, flickering through her grimoire and closed the book once she entered the room.
Annabelles eyebrows furrowed in confusion and she walked over to her drawer.,"What are you doing here?" Annabelle asked, picking out socks from her closet as she turned to face Kol. Raising a brow at him.
"Well, if you've already forgotten because that Gilbert boy has brainwashed you." Kol flashed a smile "I live here therefore I'm welcome into this bedroom whenever I please." He mused.
"Of course you are." Annabelle mumbled, tugging at the covers that he is currently laying on but Kol doesn't budge "And don't be so mad about Jeremey, your the one who wanted me to do this in the first place." She frowned.
Kol shrugs "Just don't get to attached. I'm thinking of pushing him off a roof, I wouldn't get punished by the hunters curse because he'll be dying by gravity." He smiled in triumph and Annabelle pulled at the covers but he still wouldn't budge.
"I won't." Annabelle told him, pushing the covers aside and sliding in the bed then putting the covers over her "It's pretty hard to fall in love with the person who might have been the cause of my sisters death." She glared at Kol.
"Your tone implies that it's also going towards me." Kol chuckled "I saved her life. If you would rather go to her funeral, mourning her death, be my guest. I'll kill her right in front of you if you please." He gritted through his teeth.
Annabelle pursed her lips but didn't say anything. She closed her teal eyes "I didn't like the date with him anyway." She mumbled before drifting off to sleep. Kol gazed at her, deep in thought, before getting up and turning off the lamp then began walking out of her room.
"Goodnight, darling." Kol whispered then left her room. "Goodnight, Kol." She whispered back before going into deep slumber. Kol smiled slightly, taking a deep breath with an uncontrollable small smile on his pink lips.
Rebekah walked out of her room and noticed her brothers smile "Whats got you all chirpy?" She asked, tilting her head to the side. Kol smirked but never smiled. When he did smile, it was always dangerous or wicked.
Kol shook his head, the smile immediately dropping "Nothing that concerns you, sister." He mumbled, walking in his room.
