Abigail breathed in relief but just then, Kol ripped her heart out and Annabelle yelped in surprise, her hand flying to her mouth and she could feel herself shaking, her eyes widening as Abigail fell to the ground making her scurry to her knees and she looked at Abigail with sad eyes before looking up at Kol with anger and sadness.

"Why would you do that?!" Annabelle asked, standing up "She told us where Beatrice is!" She hit his chest, pushing him in anger but Kol doesn't look fazed as her eyes got teary "Why?!"

Annabelle may not like Abigail but she grew up with the blonde. Although Abigail was a druggie and many things, she didn't deserve to die at a young age, especially when she helped them out then Kol had to kill her to fulfill his anger but little did he know, he only made things much more worse and complicated.

Kol took her wrists, stopping her from hitting his chest any more. "With her alive, you would never be able to track Beatrice." He told her, frowning.

Annabelle shook her head. "That's not an excuse. That's not fair, I-I could've done a spell but you didn't have to kill her!" She yelled.

"What spell, Annabelle?" Kol questions and her face fell, realizing that he was right. "There is no spell. You know I'm right, I wouldn't hurt you if there was no reason."

Annabelle could feel a tear slip down her cheek, looking down to Abigails dead body before Kols hands that were bloody and held her wrists. "Just..just let me go..please."

Kols frown only deepens. "Belle, I—"

"Let me go, Kol.." Annabelle told him and he sighed before reluctantly releasing her arm and she walked back to the car, going in and ignoring the shards of glass.

Annabelle felt more tears slide down her cheek, she quickly wiped it but felt more slip down as she noticed the windows glass it broken. Kol entered the car and started the radio, occasionally glancing at her with a tint of guilt.

-

Annabelles eyes flutter open to see the car was still moving. She sat up and looked down to her clothing, she still wore the same shirt but her shorts had been changed. The brunette could feel her eyes are heavy and puffy from the tears she had shed last night. She looked out the window to see the Mystic Falls sign.

Her eyes trail to Kol then back to her clothing "Did you change me?" She asked, having no energy to yell or do anything in the matter. She just wanted to go back to sleep but her nightmares kept bugging her.

Kol shook his head, seeming bitter in the slightest, not sparing her a glance. He had gotten colder, just like the time when she had first met him. "Don't flatter yourself, darling. I compelled someone to change you. Female." He spoke nonchalantly and she looked away from him, unable to look at him.

Annabelle felt like she would burst into tears if she looked at Kol for too long. She hadn't watched him kill Sophia but now he killed someone she cared about in front of her, he may have done it for a reason but it still hurt her. She let out a shaky sigh and bought her knees to her chest then began  hugging  it tightly. It was moments like this she wished she was in Denver so she could have her mother to hold her.

She didn't remember much from the other night, she only remembered a lot of tears and crying quietly while Kol drove, humming to the radio as he did pay mind to her tears but pretended not to. After the tears, she felt her eyelids grow heavy and she fell asleep. She didn't remember how she ended up in Mystic Falls or if Kol had even gotten her luggage. But he most likely did since she's wearing her shorts.

Kol pulled out on the Mikaelson mansion and went to the car trunk. He pulled out Annabelles luggage and his own then closed the car trunk and began walking to the mansion with Annabelle lazily trailing behind him. She rubbed her temples and couldn't wait to grab ahold of aspirin and that was when she stopped walking. Beatrice.

As the two entered the mansion, they saw Klaus and Elijah sitting down in the living room. "Wheres Rebekah?" Annabelle immediately asked, noticing the disappearance of the blonde.

Klaus rolled his eyes "Shes a bit preoccupied." His eyes showed what he meant snd Kol raised a brow in annoyance while Annabelle felt herself get angry.

"Why?!" Annabelle questioned in disbelief, her eyebrows furrowing "And you better have a reasonable explanation, Niklaus Mikaelson." Elijahs eyebrows raised up while Kol got the bottle of bourbon and filled it.

The brothers immediately noticed the tension.

"She was with the Donavan boy." Klaus waved off, not taking seriousness to her warning tone.

Annabelle scoffed "I'm going to look for my sister, when I'm back, Rebekah better me standing here or I'll show you what it looks like to have heels stabbed into your eyes." She turned on her heels and took Kols car keys then walked out.

Elijah raised a brow at Kol "Are you not going to stop her?" He asked.

"She could die for all I care." Kol answered carelessly, opening another bottle of bourbon.

"What have you done?" Elijah questioned.

"i haven't done anything." Kol shrugged innocently, obviously lying but he ignoring it, grabbing another bottle then gulping it down, feeling it sting his throat but he needed it. "Maybe she was the wronged one in this situation."

Klaus chuckled, shaking his head as she stood up, about to go and undagger Rebekah "Her face says otherwise, brother." He smirked.

"I killed someone she knew. Shes angry with me. Nothing out of the usual." Kol confessed with an eye roll making Klaus raise a brow while Elijah rolled his eyes.

"There we go."

Katherine walked down the stairs and smirked "Hi handsome." She wiggled her fingers and Kol looked up to her, she wasn't speaking to Kol, she was speaking to Elijah.

Elijah smiled. Kol rolled his eyes, again "I need a distraction." He mumbled and ran a hand through his hair "I'm getting myself a distraction." He mumbled, walking out of the house.

In the car ride, Annabelle was ringing Beatrices phone for the tenth time. Beatrice wouldn't answer but Annabelle wasn't one to give up. She continued to ring her older sister impatiently, her hands gripping the steering wheel. And to think her birthday was in a week.

Finally, Beatrice answered "I'm sorry, did the ten missed calls not give you a hint that I want to be alone?" She questioned with venom "Don't make me hurt you again—"

"I know you're getting the cure." Annabelle interrupted and the line fell silent "Beatrice it's not worth it. I'll help you. You're not thinking properly, I want you think about mom, think about Stacey, think about yourself, Beatrice. How will this affect you?" She asked.

"This will do good for me!" Beatrice yelled from the other line, looking at the shaking Jeremy in front of her "I found the hunter. I'm taking pictures of him then I'm going and getting the cure." Beatrice hung up.

Annabelle realized Kol killed Abigail which means Beatrice is now traceable. She quickly got the map from the backseat pocket and looked around for the knife but couldn't find one. Her eyes trailed to the window, the glass that Kol broke. She quickly grabbed a glass.

The brunette squeezed the glass in her palm, groaning as it cut her hand but the blood drops fell not the map making her react quickly. "Phasmatos Tribum, Nas Ex Veras, Sequitas Sanguinem." She chanted and the blood began moving making her sigh in relief as the blood stopped in a small abandoned store.

Annabelle quickly started the car at fast speed and began driving, it was now nighttime and she needed to hurry. Once she made it to the store, she scurried out of the car and began running towards the abandoned store, her feet aching and worry on her face. She wasn't in love with Jeremy but she cared about him.

She slammed the door open and looked around to see it's empty but Elena was there making her eyebrows furrow "Hurry! She's going to kill him once she gets what she wants!" Annabelle yelled. Elena didn't know what she was talking about, she only knew that someone captured Jeremy.

Elena took that as a sign and the two began running to the staff room, they opened the door to see Beatrice taking pictures of Jeremy's arms. Jeremy had chains in his legs, he was horrified but breathed in relief at the sight of Annabelle and Elena. Beatrice turned around.

"Abigail is dead!" Annabelle yelled and her older sister paused, her eyes getting teary "You see how that feels?! If you kill him, you'll be causing the same emotion to her and much more people!" She pointed at Elena.

Beatrices jaw clenches, her teary eyes gone "I don't care who I hurt! I don't care who has to die! I know what I want and I've gotten it in my grasp." She smirked and tucked her phone in her pockets "I've gotten all the pictures and information I needed meaning he won't be of use."

"No!" Elena cried out as Beatrice sunk her fangs into Jeremy, she quickly threw Beatrice away and the blonde sped away as Jeremy fell to the ground. Elena could hear his heart beat slow down into nothing "No! Jer! Don't die on me!" She cried out.

Annabelle kneeled down next to him, putting a hand on his neck, checking for a pulse but there was nothing "He's dead..." she mumbled and Elenas cries got louder "Can't you just feed him your blood?" She asked, panicking.

"No, he's already dead." Elena sobbed and slowly looked to Annabelle "This is you're fault! You did this!" She cried, standing up and grabbing the brunette, she threw her against the wall then ripped out the chains.

Elena began walking to Annabelle, she closed her eyes and turned off him switch. When her eyes opened again, she looked and Annabelle and mumbled at her but Annabelle disappeared. She cloaked herself.

Annabelle quickly ran out the building and got in the car, quickly driving away with her eyes getting glassy. Once she was away front he building, she parked her car somewhere and put her head against the steering wheel, crying to herself. She hated crying.

The brunette sighed shakily and wiped her tears then began driving to the Mikaelsons mansion. She knew the gang weren't invited to the mansion but she still felt guilty for her sisters actions. Elenas words ran through her mind "This is you're fault! You did this!" The words went on repeat and Annabelle began chanting it to herself.

When she entered the Mikaelson mansion, she saw Rebekah getting her nails done by someone compelled. Klaus sketching on his notepad while talking on the phone to Caroline who was crying over Jeremy's death. Elijah and Katherine sat next to each other, talking. Kol was upstairs, occupied by two ladies. (In his bedroom)

It went silent when everyone noticed the brunette, they already heard about Jeremy's death, thanks to Caroline. Rebekah noticed the glum expression on her face and stood up, ignoring her manicure and pedicure then sped to Annabelle. The two stared at each other.

Annabelles eyes slowly got teary again and Rebekah finally moved, pulling her in a hug that Annabelle quickly returned, feeling more warm tears stream down her cheek as her knees got shaky. Rebekah could feel the tears on her shoulder, landing on her new shirt but she didn't pay mind.

The two pulled away and Annabelle smiled appreciatively, she needed a hug. Just then, Kol went down the stairs and raised a brow, clueless over what happened to the Gilbert boy but everyone doubted he would care. He raised a brow at Annabelles tears. "What now?"

"Jeremy's dead." Annabelle spoke and Kol froze, shrouded "Beatrice killed him." She knew her sister would now have the hunters curse but she didn't care at the moment.

"He was bound to die. Any vampire would eventually find of them cure, look for the hunter and kill him."

"So that's it? That's the excuse?" Kol opens his mouth to speak but she simply shakes her head and walks up the stairs.

THIS CHAPTER IS EDITEDDD

I feel like Kol would be the type of person who would be a marshmallow when you're alone with him but when he's in front of people, he's just a rock. Vanilla.

Anyways, I just wanted to say this (I think I said it before)

⚠️

I do NOT hate Elena, I actually think everything she went through was a lot, especially with the two years of hell and her sacrifices to keep everyone safe but I do find some of her decisions rather stupid or selfish which is why I turned her to an antagonist.

I needed an antagonist for my story and since everyone listens to her, I thought she would be the perfect person but don't worry, you'll see better developments in the future episodes :)

As in my other book, I didn't make Elena a bad character cause I never thought of her as that.

When I say this, I think many can agree with me when i say human Elena is much better than vampire Elena...
