When Annabelle finally made it home at 3:56 after a long day in work. She did not expect to see a lad slumped on her chair, chatting with her sister and mother while drinking from a bloodbag. When they all noticed her presence, they turned to look at her as she tilted her head at the handsome lad.

He had soft pink lips, fair skin and brown hair with deep chocolate eyes that held many stories that she intended on reading but wasn't sure if she knew how to read them...they looked so foreign. He also inspected her appearance, she had tan skin with teal eyes and long wavy brown hair, a dimple on her right cheek but not on her left. Her height was about 5'7 or 5'8.

Kol was 'surprised' to say the least. When Aurelia and Stacey said that a lass that went by the name 'Annabelle' had bought him back to life, he did not expect a teenage girl. Kol had expected on their forties or maybe fifties with a lot of experience. But definitely not a teenage girl who had coffee power on her nose.

"Anna." Aurelia smiled, standing up and dusting her dress of. Aurelia rarely wore dresses unless important. She walked over to her youngest daughter and leaned to her ears. "What are you wearing?"

Annabelle looked down to her mother's dress that went to her knees. The dress seemed very old fashioned. "What are you wearing?" She threw the question back, also whispering. Stacey snorted, being able to hear them and Kol looked between the two in amusement. "Sorry. Long day."

Aurelia gave her daughter a chuckle then looked at Kol. "Annabelle, this is Kol Mikaelson. The gentleman who you saved the other week because he saved Stacey." Aurelia explained, a charming smile on her lips with her pearly teeth showing.

"We haven't formally met." Kol smirked. "Kol Mikaelson. Pleasure, I'm sure." Kol stood up and took Annabelles hand, placing a soft kiss on it, staring her in the eye with his lips lingering on her skin, smirking wickedly as he heard her heart hammering against her chest.

Annabelle nodded. "Am I supposed to save another vampires life or..." she purses her lips, taking her hand back from Kol quickly. "Are you here to say thank you? Because, that's not what I've heard about thee Kol Mikaelson."

"You've heard about me." Kol smiled in satisfaction. "Brilliant." He slumped back on the chair and Stacey handed him another bloodbag. "Now, you see, I've got a bit of a problem on my hands." He mused, opening the bloodbag and bringing it to his lips. Taking his sweet time to talk and Annabelle noticed the many empty blood bags.

"There's a group of...brainless idiots— more like headless chickens running around but you can call them what you please." Kol waved off and Annabelle sat on another chair as he continued. "They want to bring back Silas. I'm sure you've heard of thee legend."

"Yes." Aurelia nodded, her voice monotone as she crossed her arms and leaned against the wall, her legs also crossed. "Yes, we have."

"Great!" Kol smiled. "So then you know he— under no circumstances— can be awoken. Regardless of the cure for vampirism." He explained and the three nodded "Unfortunately, the group of brainless idiots seem to disagree which is how i ended up dead until your witchy interference bought me back—"

"A thank you would really sound lovely." Annabelle cut him off. "I mean, I basically saved the lives of god knows how much vampires and saved your life. I also went against nature but also got a hundred dead witches on my side. You can imagine how my week went." She smiled sarcastically.

Kol raised a brow but ignored her then continued. "I intend on stopping them but they have a powerful witch on their side. A bunch of vampires and a vampire hunter, with the whole mark-map to the cure and since you know about Silas, you must know about the hunters curse."

"We do." Aurelia nodded.

Kol smirked then turned to Annabelle "I'm going to need your help to stop them." He tilted his head to the side then continued. "I mean, you basically saved the lives of god knows how much vampires and saved my life. And got a hundred dead witches on you're side." He mocked. "You'll be able to help me out just fine."

"I have school." Annabelle reminded. "And just like you intend of stopping them, I intend on finishing school, getting a job then do something cliché in my life that does not include being suicidal." She shook her head.

Kol rolled his eyes and stood up. "Darling, I couldn't care less about your academics or education. If you've already heard about me, you must know I don't take no for an answer." He sang, drumming his finger on the wall as he put his arm on it. "Pack up, I'll pick you up after tomorrow at noon. 6 PM sharp. Get all your grimoires and whatnot. Do NOT test me." With that, Kol sped away.

Annabelle looked to her family who sheepishly turned away, knowing they don't stand a chance with an Original vampire. "Life is like a book, isn't it?"

-

Annabelle had decided that she wasn't going to have her own will forced away by anyone, let alone after she had saved their lives. She decided not to pack, ignoring all her sister and mother's warnings. The brunette was stubborn and she most certainly knew it.

Right now, she and Sophia were chatting and laughing until the blonde had to leave and throw the trash. Annabelle patiently waited as she closed the store, throwing cups into the trash, spoons to the sink so she could do them tomorrow. Two days had passed and it was now 7 sharp.

The brunette heard an ear piercing scream and she tensed, quickly turning around to see Sophias head rolling inside, without her body. The brunette let out a gasp of horror as Kol appeared with a heart in hand. His lips and shirt scattered and smeared with blood and a wicked smirk on his lips.

"I warned you." Kol then grabbed her wrist and dragged her away from the store, not bothering to cover his tracks. Annabelle could feel her eyes sting with tears, when she blinked, a tear slipped but then, she couldn't control the rest of the tears. "I told Stacey to pack your stuff. The whole privacy situation." He opened the car door, ignoring her hysterical tears and sobs then pushed her in the car front seat.

Annabelles legs curled up to a ball, hiccups following her cries. Kol got in from the other side of the car, he started the Jeep's engine making it roar then pulled on the handbrake and began driving.

Annabelle muffled her sobs by putting a hand on her mouth in hope to not let him get the satisfaction of emotionally hurting her. The brunette had to remind herself that she only saved someone like him for her sister.

Kol glanced at her and rolled his eyes, he took a tissue and wiped the blood from his chin and neck. "You didn't have to kill her." Annabelle mumbled through her tears, refusing to even look at him as he continued driving. "It wasn't necessary."

"Oh, yes it was necessary." Kol smirked, keeping his eyes on the road and she looked at him in disbelief with wide eyes, her eyes already puffy and bloodshot "Now you know better than to say no or disobey me, right?"

"I don't owe you anything!"

"I saved your sis—"

"And I saved you."

Kol pulled over and turned to her "Don't let me kill what I saved." He told her with angry eyes. "You didn't do it for me as a thank you for saving your sisters pathetic life. You did it for Stacey." He looked away and continued driving.

"What did you think? I would do it so you could come over and kiss my ass?" Annabelle scoffed and looked back out the window.

When they reached a hotel, Kol woke up Annabelle and booked the two a room— more like compelled but he wouldn't really label it. Since Kol couldn't trust her, he compelled a room for one but with two beds. The lad had a sister and wouldn't want her uncomfortable with a guy in bed and so he thought to not make Annabelle uncomfortable.

Annabelle didn't even look at him, she even snatched her trunks from him and carried it by herself to her room. Kol didn't care, he was only using her, nothing less and nothing more. When they reached the room, he opened the door with a keycard and sauntered in, flopping on the bed.

The brunette put her trunks by her bed then opened it, pulling out some comfortable clothing and walking to the bathroom, feeling Kols eyes on her.

She locked the bathroom door and slipped on a black plain big shirt then gray shorts. She put her hair up in a bun then walked out the bathroom.

Kol was already changed, on his bed with the covers over him, his legs crossed and his arms behind his head while he watched television from the hotels tv.
He looked at Annabelle who walked over to her bed and got in then threw the covers over her body, snuggling closer to its warmth.

"We'll be there by tomorrow." Kol told her, turning off the television so she could sleep. "But you'll have to help my brother. He's in a situation..."

Annabelle didn't answer him making him glance at her to see why she hadn't responded. He was met by the sight of Annabelle being asleep.
