summary

Estelle had a past full of death and manipulation. Most of that involved the Darkling. And she wanted nothing to do with him anymore. But when she received a request to help defeat the tyrant that loomed over Ravka as of late, it wasn't much of a difficult decision. 

She also had a bit of a...complicated history with Nikolai Lantsov. 

There was no holding back the memories that would for sure be brought up and the feelings hurt. People would die, everyone else would be changed forever.

All Estelle really cared about when she agreed was to bring her tormentor down for good.

author's note—Thank you for taking a chance on "Guardian Saint"! I hope you won't regret it and that the time I've already spent on this is gonna make it all worth it. I started this a while ago, but I wanted to get far enough in it so that I wouldn't lose motivation soon after I started. But I can now say that I'm hooked. I also have covid, so I have plenty of time to upload and write. I've also never done anything like this before, so I hope I didn't completely butcher it.
