The day had been going pretty okay so far. Me, Percy, and the rest of the class had been picking/eating strawberries. Obviously they were the sweetest strawberries these mortals have ever tasted. We had occasional breaks and ate sandwiches but me and Percy refused thanks to the whole 'can't eat food because we ate fire' thing. Everyone was giving us stares since we weren't eating so we ate a couple of strawberries. We both regretted that because shortly after our stomachs were aching but we did our best to hide it.

Thank the Gods, Percy actually IM'd Chiron. We don't need our demigod lives mixing with our Mortal lives. I could see our camp in the distance and sometimes heard angry screams. Probably just the victims of Leo's pranks. They probably got the Hecate half-bloods to make their own type of mist because none of the mortals seemed to notice it.

The field trip was almost over when we heard Claire scream. Thankfully, this time, I didn't pull out my dagger. That would've raised some eyebrows.

"Oh my God! My feet are killing me!" She screeched. I crossed my arms. Ugh she reminded me of Drew, but ten times worse! "Why can't we stay at those cabins?" She asked. She pointed in the direction of camp. Wait, she could see the camp? Since when? Everything was fine a few seconds ago! What in the Hades is happening!? I turned to Percy. He looked just as confused as I was.

"I didn't see those camps before." Tom stated. Everyone seemed to agree.

"Come on let's go!" John exclaimed. The whole class started to follow him. Everyone but me, Percy, and the teacher.

"Where do you think you are going!" The teacher yelled. "You don't have permission to enter those cabins!" They ignored her.

"We have to stop them! Like now!" Percy told me. We ran after them as fast as we could, which was fast.

"You heard our teacher! You can't go there." I said, quickly. John eyed me looking annoyed. He was going to push me out of the way but I caught his hand. "Don't touch me." I judo-flipped him. Everyone gasped and crowded John as he rolled on the ground in pain. I motioned Percy to follow me, and he did. We ran to camp to warn them.

"CHIRON! CHIRON! SOMEONE GET CHIRON!" Percy yelled at the top of his lungs. The campers got startled but once they realized it was Percy they all went to find Chiron. After they did we told them that their mist stopped working.

"What?" Chiron asked. He started galloping to the Hecate cabin. They all looked tired and drained. "What happened?" He demanded.

"I'm sorry Chiron, everyone here is exhausted. I'm afraid we can't hold up the 'mist'." One of the Hecate half-bloods said sadly and out of breath.

"There has to be something else we can do! Please anything! If the mortals find camp then everything will be ruined!" Someone is the crowd of demigods exclaimed. Chiron started to pace. I could see all my brothers and sisters thinking of some way to shield the camp from mortal eyes. You could almost see gears turning in their heads. Is that how I look when I'm thinking? Whatever, now's not the time.

I should've been doing the same, but I was to caught up thinking of a lie we could tell our mortal classmates. That's when we heard very loud panting.

"We.. are.. here!" A familiar voice said in between breathes. I quickly turned around. Standing there were three very tired looking familiar faces; Hazel, Leo, and Calypso.

"We came as... quick as we could." Calypso explained. Suddenly with no warning the three all did a pattern of hand motions. They had a concentrated look.

"I think they're doing magic." Percy whispered to me. I could understand Hazel and Calypso trying magic, but seriously, Leo? I looked at the kelp head, and mentally facepalmed.

"I know."

"Oh ok."

We stopped talking and watched as the three still did several hand motions. Leo was the odd one out looked as if he just learned the hand motions on the way here — which he probably did. After around two minutes they all stopped and stood there. Hazel smiled warmly and took a deep breath. Leo had an annoying, and big, grin on his face. He didn't say anything but you could clearly read his expression: 'I, Leo Flamin' Valdez, the supreme commander of the Argo 2, successfully did magic! Is there anything I can't do?'.

Calypso seemed to notice his expression as well and smacked the side of his head. That earned a few chuckles from the campers.

"I think our work here is done." Calypso was beaming. And with that they walked away without saying a word, just grinning.

"You think they put up the mist?" Percy whispered to me, but it was louder than intended so most of the demigods heard it. Some were laughing, others were facepalming (that would include me), and the rest were shaking their heads but also smiling.
