"Please tell me I did not just see you practicing in the mirror!" Sean turns his head so fast Cherry could've sworn she heard a snap from his neck. Either way, she wouldn't be too bothered by it as she laughs hysterically. Hell, she can feel tears starting to form.

"I swear, you tell anyone about what you saw, and I'll kill you!" Sean growls, but it doesn't seem to scare her one bit. She just wipes the tears forming and coughs before standing up straight, a big grin on her face.

"That was fucking great," Cherry giggles, gaining an eyeroll from him. She watches as roses blossom on his cheeks, making her grin grow wider when he tries to play it off by mumbling, "Whatever."

"Hey!" The sound of a door opening makes both of them look over, finding Daniel's head peeping out from his room. "No cursing!" he orders them. Cherry shakes her head once more before squatting down in front of the little boy and asking, "What'chu doing, Dani?"

"Can't tell you. It's a BIG secret! So don't come in!" Cherry raises her hands in defense.

"Can you give me a hint, at least?"

"All I have to say is: Watch out for my costume in three days! This Halloween is gonna be awesome!"

"I'm sure it is, bud," she smiles. "I'll give you my candy too!"

"Awesome!" he exclaims. "Are you going to a party tonight? At Eric's house?" Cherry raises a brow, looking over at Sean before turning her head back to Daniel. "Will Lyla be there?" he asks. Her smile becomes a grin, finding it amusing when he gushes over the girl.

"Yes, yes, yes, and a big NO, " Sean answers, now standing behind Cherry. She looks up at him before looking back at Daniel. "You can't go. Teenagers only."

"I bet Cherry would let me go. Won't you, Cherry?" he asks but doesn't wait for an answer. "She's way nicer than you. Now, I have secret stuff to do. Alone!" With that, he slams the door in their face, nearly knocking Cherry off balance.

"Well," she sighs, placing her hands on her knees, "that was a good talk," she groans, feeling her knee pop when she stands up. She goes to walk away, only to find herself right against Sean. "Shit, sorry," she apologizes, moving around him. She can feel a shiver down her spine, not feeling comfortable that close to him. Yeah, that's it.

"Does your knee always hurt?" he asks, following her into his room.

"Yeah. I tore my ACL during a soccer game a year or two ago, so I now have pain. It's fun." The sarcasm drips from her voice, making Sean roll his eyes before it he finally realizes what she said.

"You tore your ACL?!" She jumps in the seat, spinning in the chair to look at him.

"Yeah. Lyla asked me during lunch one time why I got a big scar on my knee, remember?" She watches him think for a moment before his expression falters, as does her own. "I guess you don't." She spins the chair once more, facing his laptop, before calling Lyla. He stands over her once more, placing his weight on the chair through his arms. The two wait for a moment for her to answer before her face pops up on the screen.

"Hello, loverboy and Cherry. Just give me a minute." The two watch for a minute or so as Lyla acts like a total mess, looking for items around her room before finally turning her attention to them. "Alright. Hi! Did you get everything?"

"It's all in his backpack," Cherry replies.

"Dad hooked me up with some cash, so we're set for the night," Sean adds, "in case we need anything else."

"Or in case you and Jenn need anything else," Lyla teases. It doesn't help when Cherry looks up at him and says, "Oh la laa!" He hits her on her shoulder to hush her.

"Seriously though," Cherry starts, looking up at him once more, "what are you going to say to her?"

"I don't know. Maybe talk about the gig last week, get to know her tastes..."

"Oh my God! You did rehearse your moves for tonight." Sean's first reaction is to hit Cherry again, but she holds her hands up, stating that she did nothing. "You're so into her." Cherry rolls her eyes, finding the conversation boring and a bit annoying, before she gets up out of the seat. Sean sits in it while Cherry looks around his room for the umpteenth time in a row.

"So what?" Sean sighs, "I don't have any game. This is uncharted territory."

"Just be yourself," Cherry shrugs, "that's why she's into you." The loud bang of his door hitting the wall makes her turn around, seeing Daniel run into his room.

"Sean! Cherry! I'm done, look." Cherry looks the boy up and down, noticing his shirt and jeans all covered in some red liquid as he wears a mask over his face. "I made zombie blood!" he exclaims, shaking the bottle in his hand. "I used corn syrup and food coloring..." His attention is soon drawn to the screen, noticing Lyla watching the entire scene unfold. "Hi Lyla," he gushes once more, waving at her. This causes Sean to push the boy out of his room without letting him say another word. A frown forms on Cherry's face, watching Sean move to sit back in front of the computer.

"Well that was mean, " Cherry sighs, turning attention back to Sean's skateboard. He goes to explain it, only to see her distracted. His eyes linger for a moment, looking her up and down before grabbing a post-it note and a pen. He sketches her out as perfectly as he could. He continues talking to Lyla about the party, answering as much as he can. But he has to glance at Cherry every now and then, finding it the perfect time to sketch her, even if it was on a small sticky note.

"Lemme see that drawing," Lyla states. It gains Cherry's attention, who looks over her shoulder at the two. She watches as Sean glances over at her once more before replying to Lyla with a simple 'no'. She shrugs, going back to looking at his trophies and whatnot. She would have noticed the redness forming across his face if her eyes lingered for a moment longer.

However, another sound makes her ears perk, making her stomach knotted. She walks over to where Sean sits and leans over his desk, gaining his attention. She ignores him, though, squinting to see something she doesn't like. Her eyes widen dramatically before she runs out of the room, slamming the door with a loud bang. "Hey!" Sean exclaims. "I'll call you back, Lyla." He doesn't wait for an answer before he closes his computer, running to follow her outside.
