The children had eventually made their way to the train tracks they had hoped to reach

"Coming through the woods I bet we saved over an hour" teddy explained

"Teddy?"gordie asked

"Yeah?" he answered

"Isn't this the back Harlow Road?" he asked curiously

"Yeah..." teddy said slowly

"Brower must be here someplace..." Katie said slowly before gripping onto Gordie's hand

Soon to be followed by Sarah grabbing onto Chris's hand

"Teddy you and Vern watch the left side of the tracks and the rest of you we go on the right" Chris explained

"Alright" teddy said before parting their ways with the rest of the gang

They walked so far down the track until Vern shouted

"I see him I see him!" he said pointing at ray brower's dead body

Everybody quickly ran over to Vern to see if what he saw was true

Once Sarah saw the remains of her brothers body she just broke down and began to cry into Chris's shoulder

Then they heard a few rustling leaves

"Hold it," ace said holding him back

Then moments later Chris said

Then ace pulled out his knife and said

Then a loud gunshot went off
*BANG*

It was gordie he had got the pistol and had shot it to stop him from killing Katie

Ace quickly scrambled back to the cobras

"You're not taking him. Nobody's taking him" gordie explained

"Come on kid... Give me the gun before you take your foot off" ace said trying to persuade gordie

Once they had completely gone Chris said

Ray Brower's body was found by neither their gang nor the cobras got the credit

In the end they decided to make an anonymous phone call they thought it was the best idea to do
