• childhood ; her childhood was okay for the most part. her home was pretty toxic until she was 7 and her parents divorced. while it was rough having two different houses to go back and forth to, it was much more peaceful with separated parents. by the time she was 11, her father had married a woman several years younger than him and they had a baby soon after. jazmin actually liked her stepmother and sister, though they couldn't compare to her mom and older brother.
• teenage years ; jazmin took care of her baby sister a lot whenever she was at her dad's house, but she didn't mind it. her dad actually paid her, so it especially wasn't a big deal. when she entered high school, she joined the cheer squad and had been on the team every year since, now being a junior. she enjoyed it a lot actually. her parents came to a game she cheered at whenever they could, which she appreciated as she knew they were busy a lot. she wasn't friends with many of the girls on the squad, mostly people she'd made friends with in class, though only 2 of her friends were close with her. high school was actually enjoyable for her, having a bit more freedom than other kids. the only thing she dealt with was anxiety, which she was diagnosed with at 13 and had anxiety attacks every now and then.

• adulthood ; in her very young adult years, jazmin attended community college classes. she decided it would be less stressful to go to community college and then transfer to a university halfway through for social work. she got her own apartment with the help of her dad, who was in a pretty good financial place to help her with it. it's just a small apartment, but it's home and she loved it. she worked at a café to make some extra money. jazmin loved to enjoy her freedom and go out with her friends, she couldn't imagine not doing it
