• stubborn ( nicki is an extremely stubborn person, she won't change her mind unless you have good reason to convince her otherwise )
• funny ( she's very quick witted, comes up with silly responses and sometimes they're not in the best setting. it can lift everyone's spirits sometimes though )
• messy ( she's constantly leaving clothes and makeup everywhere. luckily cole is pretty neat and cleans up after her, which is something she loves about him )
• caring ( she cares a lot about her family and friends. she would take a bullet, or a fireball, for one of the girls very quickly into their friendships. she truly wants the best for them and gives advice when warranted )

backstory
• childhood ; nicki was adopted shortly before paige was born. she's four months younger than her, having been born to 19 year old parents that were forced to give her up. why? she never knew. nicki was extremely close with her family growing up, she and paige played together all the time and they were a picture perfect family. they went out to dinner, went to the park, went to DisneyLand... everything was so extremely perfect.
• teenage years ; that all changed when her and paige become teenagers. at 14 they started smoking and sneaking out and at 15 moved on to drinking. nicki got into a really bad relationship with a 17 year old guy when she was just 15, she constantly snuck out to see him and she lost her virginity to him. one time they went to a party and after drinking a lot, couldn't remember anything the next day. suddenly he broke up with her and it really confused nicki. this furthered her behavior all the way up until her parents' deaths. she turned her life around, as did paige, promising they'd never leave one another
• early adulthood ; nicki went to community college, but she didn't take her education further after her second year. she decided to focus on other work, being an assistant for some higher up douchebag in an office. she ended up dating a coworker there when she was twenty, though things got really weird and he kept asking about the sister she had. she ended things and soon after, found other work.
recent ; at some point her ex boyfriend from the office ran into her and phoebe in a mall. he seemed extremely weird but she thought nothing of it until he showed up ah the halliwell manor and tried to kill them all. she had joined the "dated a bad demon" club, as he was a upper level demon disguised as a normal person. then she was with cole, growing closer to the sisters and trying to navigate actually trying to date a demon. they had a lot of ups and downs but they worked things out and eventually have a happy life together

paige matthews ; paige and nicki were extremely close growing up, they were two peas in a pod and still are. their rebellious teenage stage was hell for their parents, but their death brought them closer together and they both wished they could take it back. even after meeting the sisters they remain close, paige convincing the sisters that she's trustworthy and means a lot to her ( 10/10 relationship )

• piper halliwell ; she and piper didn't get along at first, she was hardly accepting of paige, let alone someone who wasn't related to them. nicki understood that she was simply grieving and gave her space, and piper eventually came around. they get along well now, though they disagree at times ( 8/10 relationship )
• phoebe halliwell ; phoebe was more than happy to accept another sister, even if she wasn't magical. it did add a little bit of normalcy to their lives, even if phoebe loves magic. they grow pretty close, phoebe warns against being with cole as he's not a good man, but cole truly changes for nicki and at that point, phoebe is happy for her ( 9/10 relationship )
• darryl morris ; darryl was extremely glad that there was someone normal in the family, he appreciated that he wasn't alone in associating with them and not being magical like they are. nicki's sad when darryl eventually distances himself, but she understands why ( 7/10 relationship )
• leo wyatt ; nicki and leo get along, he and piper are constantly lecturing her for getting involved more than she needs to as she's just putting herself in danger. she's perfect to help look after the kids while they demon fight, though sometimes nicki tries to get in the action. he's like a brother to her and she truly cares for him ( 8/10 relationship )
• chris halliwell ; nicki is extremely heart warmed to hear chris call her aunt nicki at some point after finding out he's piper's son. technically he's not related to her, yet he still grew up seeing her as an aunt figure and she can't ask for any better. they sort of acted like brother and sister during his time in the past, but when he was actually growing up they got along and she loves her (sort of) nephew ( 8/10 relationship )

; she and cole met around the time she met the sisters. she was introduced to them by paige between prue's funeral and piper becoming a fury, though piper's transformation is her first true introduction to magic. she quickly took a liking to cole, luckily he was single as he and phoebe had broken up but remained friends and he continued to help the sisters. she found his sacrifice to help piper a brave act, which made him all the more attractive. after much flirting, mostly on cole's side as nicki was too proud to admit her crush, she finally let him take her out. then just as they were settling into their relationship, he became the source. he used her to host the source baby, having no idea what she was getting into when she decided she wanted to be with him. being a mere mortal, the baby weakened her heavily and it nearly lulled her, but they were able to save her and ultimately vanquished cole. later on he came back, proving how manipulated he was and how much he wanted to change, and from there they were happy and remained as so
