Nicholas Scratch wanted to curl up in a ball and sleep until the world ended. He clutched the Henson family photograph in his hand tightly, afraid to crumple the sheet of magical paper, but too nervous to care at the same time. Twenty-five people have appeared. Twenty-five Hensons have awoken and regained their memories.
Twenty-five which are undoubtedly furious.
It's no wonder the Dark Priest locked himself in his office.
"Are you alright?"
Nick let go a breath he didn't know he was holding in. He turned to face Abby, who was sitting on his bed with her legs crossed, a concerned look on her face.
"Yeah."
He hid the picture in his back pocket, and sent the girl he's grown to like a smile.

Father Faustus paced. Something he found himself doing often these past couple of weeks. He doesn't know how many more Hensons reappeared on the photograph, but it must be more than what they could handle by now.
Faustus wanted to scream.
It was time to call in some help. Faustus prayed that Daniel James could help, he knows the man is still distraught from his wife's death and his arrest. But considering the fact it was a Henson witch that killed Allison Reed-James, well, Faustus isn't so concerned about losing the inevitable war anymore.
After all, James witches can be more powerful than the whole Henson coven together.
Faustus picked up the phone.

Casey James was happy. More than happy, in fact. Grant Ryan and his overly-peppy excuse of a sister left Riverdale without causing too much trouble. Her and Veronica were still going strong, and her dad got released from jail on false charges. She had her family back.
Oh, and she finally got together with Archie.
To CJ, everything was right in the world at last.
The girl was walking out of school quickly, already extremely late for cheer practice. Man, the coach was going to kill her. Again. Casey broke off into a sprint, slightly cursing herself because she hasn't changed out of her boots yet.
She was so close to the change rooms, but her phone ringing forced the girl to stop. She checked the caller ID, surprised it was her father calling. He knows she has cheer and will be home late. Unless he forgot?
The phone stopped ringing, and Casey bit her lip, contemplating whether or not to call her dad back.
It started vibrating again.
CJ picked up this time and opened her mouth to form a greeting, but her father's frantic voice stopped her.
"We need to go to Greendale. Now." Then he hung up.
Casey didn't hesitate, she turned the other way and bolted out of the school.

"Are you sure that's what he said?" Abby asked Cleo. The cat nodded - can cats nod? - jumping on the girl's bed to make herself comfortable on the quilt.
He said he was going to call the James family. I don't know how much you know of them, Abigail, but it was Daniel James that put the curse on you and your family. Cleo said, not giving the girl much time to process her words before she spoke again. I'm assuming because your memories are slowly coming back, so are your family members'. And the Dark Priest wants to rid the problem before it starts.
"We can't let that happen, Cleo," Abby said, determination practically oozing out of her like sap out of a tree. "Can we stop Daniel? One man can't possibly be a match against a whole coven?"
Cleo shook her head, The Hensons' are strong, yes, but the James', they're strong too. The difference between you guys and them is-
"We're evil," Abby finished, a frown forming on her face. "Can we stop them?"
From what I've heard, the only James' left are Daniel and his daughter, Casey. We could have a chance if the Church of the Night stayed out of it, but I'm afraid that's not going to happen.
Abby sighed. She tucked her brown hair behind her ear, not letting her determination diminish. We're going to win, we have to.
"I think it's time to wake up the rest of my family, don't you?"

Walking into her house was like inhaling a breath of fresh air. It's been so long since Abby has stepped foot into the place she calls home. She couldn't help but smile as she crossed the front door threshold, passing by the damned tiny table Abby always managed to hit her foot on. She smiled at the family photos hanging on the wall by the stairs, remembering each of those days as if it were yesterday.
The girl walked deeper into the house, half expecting her parents to be home, despite it being noon on a Wednesday. Abby wanted to frown from disappointment but told herself to pull it together. She couldn't expect anything else; she can't get her hopes up.
She paced around the halls, gazing at every little thing she used to hate with newfound fondness. Abby made her way to the stairs, excited to see if her room was still as messy as she left it all those months ago.
Then she remembered.
Her parents didn't know who she was.
Her parents didn't remember her.
The front door swung open, and a woman let out a scream.
Abby turned around, coming face to face with her mother, a shocked and terrified look on both their faces.
"What?" a faint voice said, sounding like it was coming from outside. It sounded like her father.
David Henson made himself known, standing beside Ruth with an angry expression on his face, the complete opposite of his wife and daughter.
"Who are you?!" he demanded, moving into the house to stand in front of his wife. "How did you get in?"
"With the key," Abby answered, her voice small.
"Key?!" David boomed, "what key?"
So, Abby showed him the key he himself made for her all those years ago. No look of recognition crossed either of her parent's faces.
Abby exhaled shakily, slowly descending the stairs with her hands out in front of her in an act of surrender.
Then she began chanting.
David and Ruth slowly backed away, scared for their lives. But Abby was doing the exact opposite; she was giving them back their lives. She finished a moment later, biting her lip hard in anticipation. She doesn't know if what she did was even remotely close to what you're supposed to do, but Abby acted on impulse.
What's done is done.
"Abby?" Both her parents said at the same time.
The girl breathed a sigh of relief and ran into her parent's arms.
