Β  Β Β  I WALK INTO THE HOUSE THATS playing blaring music. paytyn forced me to change into a short green dress with a open back and a very, very low cut front. it's cute if you were a hooker. i pull my dress down but it just shows more cleavage. the person who made this dress is a fucking genius and obviously a male.

"you look good. stop trying to hide your body." nick says as he adjusts the back of my dress.

nick drops his hands and i cough. i turn and smile to him and he beams back. "i'm staying inside this whole time. will you stay with me?" he ask. i laugh, "nick why are we staying inside?" i ask crossing my arms and moving my lips to one side of my mouth.

"bats em. bats." he says walking down the stairs to the kitchen. of course it had to do with a type of flying animal. birds. he kills me with his bird fear. i follow behind him and he hands me a drink. "you need to let lose and have fun. get your mind off things."

i stare down at the drink. i really do need to let lose and have fun. i take a drink of the drink and throw my head back. the drink tingles the back of my throat but i avoid it.

after a few more drinks i don't remember very much of anything that is happening in my face. i hang onto the wall as i walk through the house. i lost nick and everyone else. i really miss chris. i wonder where he is. i know leah didn't come. she was too "busy". i stumble over my feet and accidentally fall into someone but they catch me.

"woah there." the boy says. i laugh, not because it was funny but because i felt like it. "thanks for catching me." i say holding onto this guy's biceps. god stop feeling him up. i can't. i laugh even more. "here let's go sit down." he says guiding me to the loudness.

he sits me down on a couch and sits next to me. i haven't even looked at this guys face. i look up and he looks oddly familiar. "sawyer, from the mall the other day." he says answering the question in my head. oh yup, that's him. and he's way more gorgeous then how he looked the other day.

his hair is sticking to his forehead from the house being so sweaty. he has a drink in his hand filled with something i want in my mouth. "do you want a drink?" he ask shoving his drink in my face.

i nod and take it drinking it all, then cringing whenever i find out it's water. "i said a drink but yeah you can have it." he says laughing. "and sorry to disappoint, i don't drink." gosh i could get drunk on that laugh if i was sober.

i hand him back his cup. i shiver and he notices. "here." he says taking his jacket off and placing it over my shoulders.

'"emory, let's go home." i hear a voice say. i know that voice to much. "no." i say not turning to him. "do you have more of that?" i ask sawyer pointing down at the now empty cup in my hand. "yeah here." he hands me another cup. "emory, i won't say it again let's go home."

i look up at him and i lose my control. like my mind just takes over my body. i stand up and wait for chris to move. sit down. he turns to leave waiting for me to follow him. "hmm, are you really going to leave because he told you to?" sawyer ask me from the couch with another cup in his hands.

i should sit down by sawyer and move on but my hand finds it was into chris's as he leads me out the door. you're so easy. i'm not easy. my hand fits so perfectly in chris's. he towers over me and makes me feel so small. he squeezes my hand tighter as we make our way through the crowd.

"christopher how are we getting home?" i ask stumbling over my feet. i'm really too drunk to drive. "me." he says without looking at me. "you can't drive silly." i say laughing. he don't laugh or reply. grouch. he opens the car door from me and lightly pushes me in closing the door behind me.

i really should've stayed on the couch. once chris gets in i turn away from him. he turns the car on and pulls out. he really shouldn't be driving. "chris, you really shouldn't be driving." i say looking over at him. "emory, just don't talk right now." he says gripping the steering so hardly his knuckles are turning white.

"i don't like the way you're talking to me right now." i say. i feel tears well in my eyes. he looks so perfect under the dim lighting. his jaw is so defined and his eyelashes are long. i reach out and touch his face but he pulls away. "don't." he says still not looking at me. this time i just cry. "i want to go home."

"i don't know what to tell you." he says coldly. "i hate you." i say between sobs. he finally looks at me. his blue eyes send chills down my body. "you don't mean that." he turns away as fast as he looks. "you're just drunk."

"no christopher, i mean everything." i don't look away as the tears keep falling. just look, look what you did to me. he doesn't. "i should've never fell in love with you." i choke out.

we pull into the driveway and put the car in park. i walk into the house with chris behind me. "what's wrong?" i ask looking him in the eyes.

"you're the most beautiful girl i've ever seen... and it kills me." he cups my cheek.

"you look upset. is that a bad thing?"

"yes it's a bad thing, i don't want to ruin you." he looks away from me and bites his lip.

i grab his face and force him to look at me. "you're not going to ruin me. i'm here willingly. if you ruin me, i let you do it willingly."

he doesn't seem to budge so i peck his lips. "it's fine. i promise." i wrap my arms around him and he hugs me back as we stand in the doorway together.

i wish it could be like this all the time. i just know in the morning it will go back to acting like i don't mean anything to him. but tonight im just going to enjoy being with him.

i lay down next to him and he pulls me into him. i rest my head on his chest and throw my leg over him. "chris?" his heartbeat sounds like music in my ear.

"yeah?"

"please don't leave me like that again."

he lifts my head up, "not in a million years." he connects his lips with mine. i melt into his kiss. i want to believe him, but for now i'll just pretend he meant it.
