but... here's what the plot would have been if i continued this cuz imma still feed ya'll the plot.

But it's a huge mess, just letting ya'll know.

X - Operation Heart Lockets

Basically, [Name] tries to make a heart locket in the Underground. They headed to the library to also see if there's any arts and crafts materials, but they ended up stumbling upon Undyne and the mysterious child (Papyrus), who was handing her the book filled with swears. They have a sweet interaction before leaving, with [Name] not finding anything useless in there.

[Name] had an idea that Alphys may know something. And this is where Alphys begins growing a favoritism spot out of the three humans, since she is closer to [Name] during this timeline compared to the two brothers. She asks her for help in XGaster's place, who is still kind of having ptsd flashbacks about how they beat his ass the most compared to Undyne and Chara in timeline V/hj. But like he knows [Name] doesn't remember jack shit about it so he just kind of ignores their presence during their time there.

[Name] asks for Alphys for help and like they made a deal with her (the deal was that [Name] would bring Alphys whichever interesting garbage they find in Waterfall to her for now on since they had a ton in their room). And i dunno how cuz i never got this right but like they made at least a ton of heart lockets, that were all made my adults since they are still kids. But now they have the heart lockets and [Name] had to give the first one to Muffet.

Just letting ya'll know, [Name] knows how to make music boxes since explain the one made for themselves and Frisk (and past timelines). They made a quick melody that is similar to X!Muffet's theme (Insurrect) but I can't find a music box cover and i'm too shit scared to make one since I never had experience with music. Or maybe I should just stick to Spider Dance but like idk- After a journey to where Muffet lives, they give her a late birthday gift and Muffet is very happy.

Thus the start of a beautiful friendship despite [Name] still being kind of scared of Muffet (since she kind of almost killed their adoptive goat dad in a first year to remember).

Then they go back to XGaster's place to hang out with Alphys and the skelebrothers but since [Name] gave Alphys a new manga of Mew MEw Kissy Cutie (2), they didn't wanna bother her (besides they gave her like the whole collection so it would take her a while to finish reading it all. and she would probably read it all again so-). So, like [Name] ended up making another music box melody with Sans helping them, since Papyrus was "asleep".

Then like the next events of Spellbook happen, with Gallet going to XGaster's house for medical treatment and something else but XGaster is Cancoil Aroace (slay) and straight up says that he finds love something unnecessary and admits being broken (legit a comic i found on the xtale tumblr made by Jakei. But like Ink cheers him up and like it's fine being Aroace, I support ya'll). And like Gallet leaves by force cuz XGaster talked shit and then Papyrus shows up and gets grounded again.

Thus a flashback of how [Name], Frisk, and Chara all started saying swear words since the first timeline. Cuz the so called "spellbook" is words from different AU's but like they were swear words and XGASTER WROTE IT I CANT-

So in short, Sans now knows how to make a decent music box melody (if you read my Underverse fic, you'll get it in 0.3 part two, where Chara says that Cross gave his best friend a music box similar to Wanderer![Name]).

rough concept but basically in where [Name] encounters Mad Dummy and like helps them find a new body, which happened to be made by Alphys. Thus how X!MadMewMew exists in this fanfiction and is relevant to a two timelines.

kind of a lil birthday thingy cuz if we sticking to oc canon, [Name]'s birthday is on the same day as XGaster's (11/11) cuz NO 13/13 EXISTS NU UH BESIDES IM MAKING YA'LL SUFFER.

this is like kind of a brithday thing but the main thing i wanna focus on is Cross's bestie relationship with [Name]. cuz between u and me, originally i was going to write a one-sided romance to make it more tragic. but i MIGHT be sticking to besties, better besties than Cross and Frisk.

Here, sans give them a music box as a gift. which is a bit part of his theme original theme made by Jakei and NyxtheShield, CROSS THEME starting on the time 1:08 which is that music box part that plays along with the theme but like imagine it slower. now let the bestie relationship form into a stronger bestie relationship (that's why XChara hates the fact that [Name] is besties with Cross).

why am i making the center relationship with Cross? CUZ I LIVE FOR TRAUMA AND ANGST AND HE IS THE STAR OF THAT TIMELINE THIS TIME SO HELL YEAH

barrier broken and like [Name] didn't even do jack shit. Frisk did most of the work and kind of made up a lie so [Name] could stay back (said lie being that he doesn't want them to begone after the process of breaking the barrier since they might die thanks to their soul in the most poliest and nicest manner ever yet siblings like too).

now surface time baby, more interesting shit.

as time goes by, everyone suspects Frisk since HE AINT GROWING and like they ask [Name] but like even they don't know. they just guessed that since his soul is like no other, there may be side effects of it or smth idfk.

THEN OVERWRITE! DAMN! SHIT GOES DOWN! Frisk used the overwrite button on humans but like [Name] was there and he didn't prepare for them to protect him, you know older sibling stuff (they will hate u but would probably hesitate to save u if you aint on good terms). BUT LIKE THE THING IS FRISK IS PLANNING TO KILL HIMSELF AND LIKE OF COURSE [NAME] WOULD STOP HIM. [Name] gets hurt and like Frisk kind regrets this but kind makes the human try to kill him instead (since he did program them to hurt the child of the royal family BUT HE DIDN'T MEAN TO INCLOUDE [NAME] TOO FOR THE FIRST TRY SO HE KNEW HE FUCKED UP THE MOMENT THEY BEGAN HURTING THEM TOO). Undyne soon comes in too and like XGaster kills them all broski (the humans).

cue to where the formation of the royal guard begins when XGaster brings the three back home, with [Name] being in their room very hurt. XGaster was gonna check on Undyne (since like his gut or idk says that Undyne plays a critcal role the future to help him reach his desired perfect world) first (well Frisk is first, actually. cuz like XGaster knows if he dies, Frisk is taking him down with him) so like [Name] is in their room resting because of that.

so like after that whole talk about the royal guard being created again for the two humans, sans goes to check on [Name].

and there is two ways this can lead to. i plan to write romance since it was kind of heavily hinted in the epilogue of Wanderer but LIKE- do i really wanna write romance? I already have a one-shot book. i write romance there. that's enough for me. BUT I LIVE FOR TENSIONS AND DRAMA AND LIKE HEART BREAK AND MORE TRAUMA FOR CROSS.

SO LIKE AFTER XGASTER SHOWS UP AND TREATS [NAME] SINCE HE HAS TO KEEP HIS REPUATION OF BEING A DOCTOR, [name] wakes up and the first living organism they see is sans. and like he worried and hugs them and they appreitate his concern but rubs it off. ALSO I THINK I WROTE A CROSS ONESHOT ONCE AND LIKE I WAS GONNA REWRITE IT TO A NEWER PLOT THAT KIND OF INSPIRED ME TO MAKE THIS FIC TO BEGIN WITH AND THIS IS WHERE SANS IS FULLY CONVINCED THAT HE WANTED TO JOIN THE ROYAL GUARD TO MAKE SURE THEY DON'T GET HURT AGAIN AND LIKE he kind in denial if i was sticking to the character x reader bit. denail comes first then realiztion cuz i view cross to be the type when he falls for somebody, he like kind of shrugs it off like it nothing and says "THEY'RE JUST A FRIEND OR SMTH IDK. I DON'T LIEK THEM" with a really purple face.

since the overwrite bit occured for the first time in years, Frisk and Chara kind of began using it on [Name] so Chara could talk to them when they are asleep. This happened days after that incident and like they overwritted a bit of [Name]'s code so Chara could talk with them in their dreams. LIke [Name] confused but like eventually Chara straight up tells them everything. now u think this might affect them but the brothers made sure [Name] doesn't remember shit after their dream (cuz dreams are like that bro). so like they shocked but then like the brothers still wanted [Name] to be happy so that's why they didn't change [Name]'s code overall. that would be too early and terrible timing since they don't know that XGaster has half of his soul left so yk.

[Name] has dream interactions with Chara but doesn't remmeber shit when they wake up. They have like 1% of it but like all they can make out is a very ugly white-haired boy.

also the heart lockets thing, everyone has one rn except for mettaton cuz idk where he came from unlike Mew Mew here.

ten years later, frisk be getting attacked and like is saved by Sans and Muffet. there's also this bit where Muffet informs Sans that his uniform is ready for him when he returns and mentions something like this if i was sticking to the whole cross x gn!reader thing (he is bi just saying, that's legit canon-), she would say something like this.

  "And besides, [Name] helped make your uniform!"

  "THEY DID WHAT!?"

  "They wanted to make sure you look very classy and cute! And I'm sure you wouldn't mind being called cute by them, right, Sans?"

  "Wait, you're interested in my dumb-"

  "LET'S GET GOING, KID-"

  i love making this boy suffer.

  when sans and frisk go get ice cream, [name] is there too who ended up helping Royal Guards 01 and 02 on their date (cuz they are their fan of their ship and support them and gives them advice). and like Frisk is still suspicous of Sans (mainly chara too cuz like he kinda concerned and hopes that [Name] doesn't return the feeling)

  if i was writing an x reader. not a reader insert fic. BUT THAT OPTION MIGHT NOT HAVE HAPPENED BUT I STILL LIKE THE CONCEPT SO IMAGINE EVERYTHING BUT WITHOUT SANS FALLING FOR [NAME]. besides, i think it may be more one-sided but... idk man. imma make it more tragic if they actually returned the feelings in the last minute. 

  and like the three talk a lot and Frisk (Chara) decides that he is the perfect fit to use the overwrite button one or smth.

  uniform day comes and sans is very embarrassed.

  "Aw! You look so cute and huggable! I knew you would hate it, but you look amazing, man!"

  their words, not mine.

  oh god this is a whole mess rn fr.

  so like the comic events happen and like [Name] is there to tease Sans alongside Frisk. and like Undyne "kidnaps" Frisk and puts Sans and Papyrus to the test, with sans hugging [name] real quick just in case he dies, leaving a very confused [name] behind.

  also during this, xgaster recieves a view to the future and like when they all arrive after that event, [Name] is kind of comforting Sans on the way, seeing that he distressed. i am not going to full detail rn cuz its like 11:00 PM rn but i will for your sake.

  back with the dreams, dream [name] knows everything now but like is willingly helping their brothers. and chara informs them that they gonna use sans and [name] is hesitant but knows its for the best. cuz it wouldn't make sense if they said "No! Why!?" cuz they've been through their pain and want to finish XGaster as much as they do. they warn them if they do manage to hurt him, it wouldn't be that great. but they still accept that since they are willing to do whatever it takes to stop XGaster.

  doesnt make sense but i am very tired rn.

  then the moment where sans attacks the royal fmaily under Frisk's control happens (the day) and like Papryus smacks him to knock some sense after him. then he has to bring [name] to talk to them, since if i was sticking to the romance bit Papyrus would obviously know about his brother's crush on [name] and make fun of him for it but tries to be wingman (if they ended up together, Papyrus would be very suprised but i am being realistic here). and like [Name] gives him a quick pep talk and says that they'll be there too with him so that kinda calms him down until frisk is mentioned.

  then like when everything seems chill, frisk uses sans to attack everyone on the stage (including [Name] since they did recieve a thumbs up form them in their dreams - chara's words). but xgaster protects them all and Sans reverts back to his original self, running away. [Name], the one who is in reality not the dream one since they only know the truth when they in their dreams, talking with Chara, goes after him and like it takes until dawn to find him and they tell everyone and they were qucik to comfort their bestie.

  then reset happens.

  [Name] does have a strong feeling of deja vu since they recall that something doesn't feel right (IF YOU ARE ASKING HOW DID THEY FORGET ALL THE PAST TIMELINES, [NAME] CANT REMMEBER RESETS. ONLY OBTAIN STRANGE DEJA VU FEELINGS, PROVEN IN TIMELINE IV, AND SINCE FRISK USED BOTH THE OVERWRITE AND RESET BUTTON, THAT FUCKED SHIT UP AND THERE FOR amneisa was her name starts playing BOOM! MEMORY LOSS}

  after the sans (cross) vs frisk fight and the reveal that XGaster cant use the overwrite button no more, Frisk and Chara brings back everyones memories, includng [Name]. the first thing they did was remember all their dreams and fully understadn the siatuion, apologizing to frisk and chara for forgetting them and like hugging him. but like Frisk says they didn't want them to suffer any longer, so like that's why they didn't say shit ot them expect for their dreams. and now like [name] is willing to help to unsure theirs and eveyrones freedom alongside killing xgaster, since they almost accomploshed that in timeline v.

  CUE TO WHERE EVERYONE IS AGAINST SANS CUZ LIKE HE HAS A BELIEF STILL AND BELIEVES FRISK IS KINDA WRONG (I DON'T KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN IT) but [name] tries to intervene, saying that they should all recieve freedom, including him. they know what he is doing is wrong but they should at least focus on xgaster first before dealing with him (they still view sans as their bestie but like doesn't want him to suffer yet they think he is in the wrong). after they couldnt convice Undyne or Papyrus (that sucks bro), they offered for them to kill him instead. THANKS TO PLOT REASONS, THEY AGREED AND NOW [NAME] HAS TO FINISH OFF SANS. THEY LEAVE BUT [NAME] JUST KINDA SEES HIM ALMOST DYING CUZ HE IS TURNING TO DUST AND THEY APOLOGIZE AND SHIT AND LEAVE HIM TO ROT CUZ THEY EXPLAIN HOW HE'S WRONG BUT THEY CANT HELP BUT FEEL REAL BAD. AND IN A ONESHOT IDEA I HAD, THIS IS WHERE CROSS WOULD HAVE CONFESSED BU TLIKE HE DYING AND NO CUZ I WANT REGRET TO HAPPEN TOO.

  [name] leaves him lmao and now they about to drop kick xgaster's ass for good. they kinda threw a spear at him for funsies before sans shows up and kills everyone but Papyrus and [name], with frisk barely alive. sans soon finsihes off papyrus and soon kills [name], with him explaing how he will bring everyone back using the overwrite but like [name] expresses their pity to him before sans killed them. then he obsorbs Frisk's soul.

  After rhe comic events and finding out he can't reset, he now is mentally insane. Then like Ink shows up.

I am sorry for the discontinued news but I have to focus on school and my one-shot book, where I rarely update.

But worry not, I am rewriting this fanfic. It will be the first rewritten version out of my two underverse first since it will be easier for me to write out the rewritten story for Wanderer
