Y/NS POV

"Y/N wake up!" I hear Richie yell making me groan

I cover my head with a pillow

"Y/n, wake up!" He shouts again
"It's the 4th of July parade, and all of the losers are coming!"

"I'm up!" I yell as I get out of bed

I get ready
(Outfit above btw)

I run down stairs and make a peanut butter sandwich and put my shoes on and walk outside to see the losers

"Hey guys" I smile at them

"Morning y/n"

I go to grab my bike but realize the tires flat

"Shit" I mumbled

"What's wrong?" Richie asks trying to hold back a laugh

"My tires flat" I say

"You can ride w-with me if you w-want" Bill says

"Thanks, Bill" I say getting on the back of his bike

We all bike to the 4th of July parade

I rest my head on Bills shoulder and put my arms around his waist

Time skip

We finally got there

"Richie, do you want ice cream?" Eddie only asks Richie making me smirk at them

Me and Eddie walk to the ice cream truck

"Hey, kids. What would you like?" The guy asks

"Can I get 2 vanilla ice creams and 1 strawberry, please" Eddie asks

"How'd you know I liked strawberry?" I ask as the guy hands us the ice cream and we give him 6 dollars

"I just do" he shrugs licking his ice cream

"I have a question" I say

"What is it?" He asks

"Do you like my brother?" I ask as his face goes red

"What no!" He says

"You only asked him if he wanted ice cream" I smirk

"Yeah, cause I don't have enough money" he says looking down

"Tell me the truth Ed's" I say laughing

"Fine.. Maybe a little.." He says

"I knew it!" I say as we walk to the others

"What are you guys talking about?" Eddie asks licking his ice cream

Richie takes his ice cream from Eddie

"What they always talk about" me and Richie say

"I actually think it will end. For a little while, at least" Ben says

"What do you mean?" Bev asks

"So I was going over all my Derry research and I charted out all the big events. The ironworks explosion in 1908, the Bradley gang in '34, and the Black Spot in '62. And now kids being... I realized this stuff seems to happen" Ben says getting cut off

"Every 27 years" Bill and Ben say in unison

We all walk over to the park and sit on a bench

I sit beside Bev with Stanley's legs behind my back since he was sitting on the top of the bench

"Okay, so let me get this straight. It comes out from whatever to eat kids for, like, a year? And then what? It just goes into hibernation?" Eddie asks

"Maybe it's like.. What do you call it? Cicadas. You know, the bugs that come out once every 17 years" Stan says

"My grandfather thinks this town is cursed. He says that all the bad things that happen in this town are because of one thing. An evil thing that feeds off the people of Derry" Mike says

"But it can't be one thing. We all saw something different" Stan says

"Maybe. Or maybe it knows what we're scared of and that's what we see" Mike says

"Shape shifting? Sick" I smile widely

"I saw leper. He was like a walking infection" Eddie says making us all look at him

"But you didn't" Stan says making us all look at him confused
"Because it isn't real. None of this is. Not Eddie's leper or Bill seeing Georgie it the woman I keep seeing"

"Is she hot" Richie asks adjusting his glasses

"No, Richie. She's not hot! Her face is all messed up." Stan tells Richie
"None of this makes any sense. They're all like bad dreams"

"I don't think so. I know the difference between a bad dream and real life, okay?" Mike says

"What'd you see? You saw something, too?" Eddie asks shocked

"Yes. Do you guys know that burned-down house on Harris Avenue? I was inside when it burned down. Before I was rescued my parents were trapped in the next room over from me. They were pushing and pounding on the door, trying to get to me. But it was too hot. When the firemen finally found them, the skin on their hands melted down to the bone" Mike says on the verge of tears making me hug him

"We're all afraid of something" he says

"Got that right" me and richie say

"Why, guys? What are you afraid of?" Eddie asks

"Clowns" Richie says while adjusting his glasses.

No he wasn't, he was scared of people finding out his secret, well maybe he is scared of clowns

"Needles" I say.
Another lie, I'm scared of rejection, well not really a lie, I am scared of needles.

We all agreed to go back to Bill's house to think of a plan to find Georgie at the well house.

We all ride our bikes back to his house except I was on the back of Bill's bike
