Wings Era; Love Yourself: Her Era (2017)

The dance studio is filled with energy, choreographed dance moves and singing.

"And that's a wrap guy," Sun Sungdeuk, the choreographer, calls out.

Almost instantly, the seven boys collapse on the floor in exhaustion. Jin and Namjoon are spread out on the floor, dripping sweat. J-hope is talking to Sun Sungdeuk about a specific move in one of their dance sets. Jungkook and Taehuyng are goofing around the water table, spraying each other with water droplets.

"Hey stop it  Tae-Hyung.." JK narrows his eyes playfully at Taehuyng, who is continuously spraying him with water. Taehuyng laughs. "You are very sweaty, and you need a shower."

With that  Taehuyng pours half of his water bottle on Jungkook's head. Jungkook widens his eyes in shock and Taehuyng runs seat.

"You're dead!" He starts running after Taehuyng. The others stare and laugh at their antics. It's Jungkook and Teahuyng bonded so well. Their fans even ship them as 'Taekook'. The two friends don't mind it, as long as it doesn't go overboard.

It's been twelve hours that they have been practising on the setlist for their upcoming wings tour. They had just finished a concert in Seoul a few weeks ago. The stress and anxiety are building because they want to perform well and show their fans, the A.R.M.Y, their love.

"I would kill for kimchi right now," Jin sighs. Yoongi takes a breath after drinking his water. "I'm too tired to eat, sleeping is what I need, and then I'll just wake up next year," Namjoon chuckles at Yoongi words.

"I hear you, but this year will break us into the US market, we need to perform well--" Namjoon is cut off by Sejin, their manager, entering the studio who claps his hands. Everyone bows their heads in a respective greeting.

Sejin stands next to J-hope and Sungdeuk. "Wow congratulations boys, you did well," They smile at Sejin happily.

"PD-nim has scheduled a meeting for tomorrow at 9 am to discuss, the tour dates and setlist, so please go have some rest," Sejin finishes. Sungdeuk turns to the boys.

"Do you guys want to order food or--" Jungkook and Taehuyng "Order cut him off!! Panda Express" Sejin shakes his head with a smile at how the enthusiastic duo loves food.

"We can order take out, a drive-through because Chinese-American food will be so yummy at this moment," Jimin pats his stomach gently. Sejin nods agreeing that they can order. This causes Yoongi to whine.

"Why does the Maknaes always get their way," Jin walks over to Jungkook and Taehuyng and pinches their cheeks.

"They are the babies. Who can say no to those faces," Jungkooks face contorts to playful annoyance? "Augh Jin-Huyng!!"

"Okay boys, should I order or will you order for yourselves?" Sejin gestures to the boys.

"We'll order, Jimin pass me your phone since you have all our preferred restaurants on speed dial," J-hope stretches his hand out towards Jimin waiting for his phone.

"You just want me to pay," Jimin makes a face. "But that's fine, use my card," Jimin says softly and looks up, hoping no one heard.

"J-hope, Jimin says you can use his card to pay, he doesn't mind!" Jungkook shouts. Jimin narrows his eyes at Jungkook, who smirks.

"Don't complain Jimin, do you remember how you and Taehuyng stole my card and bought Starbucks for all the staff and dancers?" Namjoon lifts an eyebrow. Taehuyng and Jimin's eyes widen that they'd finally been caught.

"Augh huyng. It was early in the morning. J-hope was driving us crazy with dance practises...why does Sungdeuk always ask Hobi to take over? He is worse than the military.."
Jimin whines completely drifting off into a different subject. Taehuyng places his finger under Namjoons' nose.

"You took our cards, remember? Plus yours was near," Taehuyng shrugs.

"Joonie -huyng even thanked you guys for the coffee... to see the notification a few seconds later on his phone that he paid for 35 staff members and dancers, "Jungkook laughs loudly recalling that day.

"It's okay boys, and I forgave you. We all needed coffee since Hobi drilled dance methods into our systems,"

Namjoon shrugs. Hobi playfully pushes  Namjoon while giving the stink eye.

"Stop it! I'm not a military sergeant,"
Yoongi just snickers at J-hope.

"Don't insult the military...you are worse than them. Just face it. Two dancers couldn't move after your dance methods, and you almost killed us!"
Hobi opens his mouth, clearly offended.

"You're hurting my head now, let's just order, before I ask Sungdeuk if I can take over the rehearsals and take you all to an early grave," He points his fingers at the six boys.

"Hobi-huyng we love you. You are the best dancer in the world," Taehuyng lies down on his back while stretching his arms upwards.

...

It's been a few minutes since Sejin and Sungdoek left to prepare the transport back home. Jimin took out his Samsung smartphone and decided he will order the food.

"So who wants what?" Jimin calls out while opening the restaurant menus on his phone.

"Kung Pao chicken and chicken egg rolls for me," Taehyung calls out, putting on his dark blue Fila sweater. "Make it two, but instead of Kung Pao, I want Teriyaki Chicken!" Jungkook shouts back.

Namjoon ordered Black pepper chicken, Jin decided on Broccoli beef, while Jimin and J-hope decided on Sweet fire chicken breast and honey walnut shrimp for entrees and a portion of Beijing beef. Yoongi ordered orange chicken. Jimin also took their drink orders. Not forgetting to order Banana milk for their Kookie.

Luckily the time limit that the food will arrive is in less than an hour. This gives them enough time to pack up and head home.

Just then Seijin walks in the dance studio and tells them their SUVs have arrived to take them home. The boys goof around while putting on their facemasks. A few bodyguards escort the boys with Seijin following.

They head into the underground parking area where four black SUVs awaits. Some fans are screaming in excitement as they get a glimpse of their favourite Bangtan Boys. The boys wave as they enter their respective SUVs. The bodyguards make sure that they are all secured and safely inside the vans.

Inside one SUV are Jin, Namjoon and J-hope. Jungkook and Jimin are with Sejin and another female manager in the second van. Yoongi is with Taehuyng in the third one. The rest of the bodyguards is in the fourth van that leads the way out.

...

Namjoon wipes his tired eyes after taking off his face mask. He looks at a very preoccupied Jin-huyng who is texting on his phone like crazy. J-hope shakes his head.

"If you look at that goofy smile of his, you can tell who he is texting,"

"His girl obviously, "Namjoon smiles. J-hope tries to sneak a peek at Jin's phone. Unfortunately, Jin shifts his phone away. "Hey stop it! It's private."

"I'm jealous, and you already found your soulmate at 25. A whole 4 years later..." Namjoon trails off. Jin smiles.

"I'm just glad I didn't find her after 100 years," Jin sighs.

"She is so nice, and it's even better that she is our assisting stylist you're so lucky Jin-huyng. She adores you so much," J-hope wiggles his eyebrows playfully.

Jin smacks his lips. "Obviously...I'm world wide handsome, who can resist this face,"

He states while gesturing to his face. J-hope and Namjoon just roll their eyes. "Your confidence truly amazed us Jin-Huyng."

Namjoon looks at his soul mark located on his upper arm, and he covers it with his black hoodie jacket. All the boys received their soul marks except Jungkook. They had to undergo a small procedure called the "Invirso binding" covering up their soul mark from accidental exposure. It can be very dangerous for idols to show their marks. Saesang fans can even go so far as to copy or even tattoo fake soul marks.

Bighit luckily took precautions: All the boys' soul marks are documented and securely hidden at the system administration vaults for protection. Only the company knows the names to whom certain soul mark fits the soul mark. Yoongi's mark is in his left chest area, Jhopes is on his ankle, Teahuyngs graces his right wrists, Jimin got a Tarnished branding. A fine sometimes,  invisible purple "T" in the folds of his ear.

All the boys who have their soul marks were excited for it, except for Teahyung and Yoongi, who hates the very thought of soul bounding for different reasons. Not that they don't believe in soulmates and love. Yoongi already experiences the sting of first love before debut. It left him unsettled. They want to find love on their own. The most controversial one is Jimin, who never received his soulmate mark on his 21st birthday.

It was a big shock for the guys and a big celebration for Jimin as he is a part of the 2% of the society classified as the Tarnished community. Teahuyng and Yoongi are so jealous of Jimin because he can date whosoever he wants. Not that he could though with their line of work.

However all Idols received a dating ban from their company, so casual dating is out of the question, for now, exceptions are made with a real documented soulmate. Then the company can still control your relationship with certain rules. But the bond is kept secret from their fandom. Also to protect their soulmates from jealous fans.

Namjoon laughs at the thought of how Jimin is so excited for not having received a soul mark.

"I think our Chim-Chim is lucky not to worry about soulmate stuff, that one.. can't wait to fool around," the three boys laugh.

"As if Sejin will let him..remember when he snuck out in Hawaii, flirting with a waitress at the beach cocktail bar?" Jin grins.

J-hope chuckles at the memory. "Oh yeah..he got so mad because Taehuyng and Jungkook ratted him out. Since then Sejin kept a close eye on him by placing  two extra  bodyguards to watch over him, so he doesn't create scandals,"

Jin goes back to texting his soulmate. Everyone knows how whipped he is for her. He is totally putty in her hands. She has very exotic beauty, fierce and strong, but the love they share for each other is so pure and adorable.

They are very professional in front of the staff, but J-hope laughs at the number of times the boys caught the two making- out in some office or rehearsal room. They shiver at the thought these two be up to when left alone.

Poor Jin is constantly teased about it. When the maknae line saw them together, they always wink, pout or making kissy faces. Jim complains al lot about the disrespect of the younger boys.

...

They arrive at their apartment complex " Hannam, The Hill" a very exclusive gated neighbourhood where only the richest celebrities, Ceo's or politicians resides. It's very private and safe for them to live in the best and most comfortable manner after their struggles of living in a small, congested dorm room. Taehuyng looks at his watch, and it's 8 pm. Jungkook and Taehuyng rush to go wash up. The others lounge on the couch. Jin and Hobi prepare the dining room for the food. A sound of an intercom goes on. The food has arrived.

"I'll get it since I'm on the way out anyway," Sejin offers. Yoongi and Hobi stop him. "Oh, Sejin! We will go with you to fetch it," Yoongi says while getting up from the couch.

...

After the scrumptious dinner, the boys retreat to their bedrooms. Yoongi went to his room to work on new compositions. Taehuyng and Jungkook decided to play some Overwatch after taking care of the dishes, while Jin and Hobi went to the showers after cleaning up the rest of the kitchen. A phone rings. It's Namjoons'

"Anneyeong haseyo Bang PD-nim."

"Annyeong just wanted to mention that tomorrow morning we will have our scheduled meeting."

"Yes, we will be there."

"I am also proud of you boys for your final rehearsals, we are proud of you and your hard work, sleep well and rest easy."

"Thank you, we appreciate it, goodnight PD-nim." Namjoon smiles. He hangs up the phone, and with that, he heads to the shower.
