That I still hope the door is open

Your agent Ms Bai called you again after she arranged for the meeting with the directors of FILA at 8 am.
You suddenly feel so exhausted. You wondered why you so tired suddenly. But you still look cute in your trendy wear in black, with skinny black jeans and high heel sandals.

You told LiuMei that you'd shop after you're back from your meeting.

Your beauty and your athletic posture were refreshing to the amazed directors. You were surprised at the ads everywhere inside their offices. There were ads of children and some models also. You couldn't see the other print ads of kpop idol's so you just follow ms Bai directions.

The following day you'll be on an individual shoot (leisure streetwear) from -7am-9 am. Three models already flew in yesterday with their respective agents and two did FIla activewear, and one model did the new FILA backpacks.

So you'll be done by tomorrow with your ad. Then at 11 am-2 pm the girls will do print ads with that kpop band, and the band will do their commercial the next day.

You felt very anxious. You know how models are. Will they be snotty, or catty or friendly. Will the kpop idol's like to work with you. You don't have a lot of experience, but still.

Your agent was thrilled when you signed the contract, and the royalties were beyond your imagination. You couldn't believe your eyes when you and Ms Bai discussed it over brunch at a little coffee shop called Biroso Coffee.

You ordered something light cause your nerves prevented you from eating a hearty meal.

Me Bai ordered for herself a full Korean meal. You decided to eat a packed lunch with LiuMei later.

Ms Bai smiled," The agency will receive 25% of your royalties. You will receive at least about ¥ 850 000."

Your eyes widen," Oh my gosh, that's a lot of cash."

Me Bai laughs heartedly.," my girl FILA is an international brand, and their revenues are mind-blowing. It is peanuts, dear."

You nodded still in disbelief. Its seems like your face is your fortune.

Me Bai smack her lips after she drank a little Soju, "my dear...you are now a recognisable face...that soul mark on your wrist ...Omg you met your soulmate already... it darkens...wow...who is it?"

You paled but smiled nervously," Er, yes we met a few days ago here in Seoul. It's complicated so I rather not disclose that info."

Me Bai smile understanding," Ok no worries, but you'll need " invirso binding" the agency will pay for it. Do you want me to book a specialist here or do it at home? We don't want any weirdo to claim you with fake marks."

You shook your head and said carefully," let me think about it and call you when I'm ready."
You nibbled on a few dried shrimps and drank a bit of your lemon ice tea.

Me Bai took something out of a folder and look pleased with you," Yunru you are my lucky charm...since you joined, our agency got lots of offers. You got an audition for Casio, can you at least speak English?"

You smiled widely," Yes, read and write fluently and Korean: speak, read and write fluently as well as Japanese, but I can't write it so well."

Ms Bai clapped her hands in delight," fantastic! Dear. You'll go to places. I know you want to do films but in the meantime get as much modelling gigs that will help you with a production start-up."

You nodded than she got back at her folder, "oh you also have an audition in Shanghai for a makeup brand and another audition a commercial with a famous actor.

Your eyes widen," Wow..."but don't stress. You still have a week before you leave for Beijing" she states.

You signed as you sadly think about Taehyung. You met him four days ago, and you already feel an emptiness, but once you back at the hotel you'll just play with your ring or snuggle up in his jacket. You miss him so much already.

You saw them on the news, seemed they always made headlines. LiuMei had a weverse account as well as Vlive. So you both watch them interact with the ARMY's.

That made you miss him more. You love his personality more and more. Everybody in Korea likes them.

After the meeting, you head back to the hotel. Ms Bai promises to be on the set for your commercial shoot, but unfortunately, she needs to be in Shanghai to wrap up the contracts for you and other artists cast into a C-drama television series.
She won't be present with the kpop idol's shoot. You'll stay at the studio for almost 7hours.

You better make sure your phone charged until the models and band come in at 10 am.

Ms Bai ordered a deluxe Uber, and you went back to the hotel. Luckily it wasn't the same driver of a few days ago.

LiuMei is already back at the hotel.

She and the other three girls had to go to Bighit to get a tour around the stylist offices were introduced to the head and four assistants to the head stylists, the four makeup artists, and three hairstylists.

She was so surprised to see three foreigners on the team. LiuMei was stunned at the beauty of another Asian girl from India. She was stunning. The other two were older white unnies in their 30's from somewhere in Europe. Most of them seemed married or bonded. Even the beauty of India is connected.

You sat in her room and discussed the mornings' happening.

"Oh, I'm so excited for you Yunru. Your life is so amazing. You got your career map out for you, a soulmate and a budding modelling career. I'm so proud of you" she gushed.

" I'm earning over a million dollars!" you told her, smiling.

"What! You'll be so rich...wow!"She squeals in delight.

" I think it's because I'm getting the same rate as high earning models and you must know a kpop band will be with us tomorrow. I'm very nervous, LiuMei. What if I mess it up in this commercial?" You look worried and more anxious.

"Don't be, take your phone with a take selfcas with them..ooooh" she clapped her hands excitedly.

You pull your face and furrow your brows," I don't know, these famous people are usually very arrogant. I'm only going to do my duties and stay far away. Kpop groups got dating bans, they might not even speak to us"you explain.

LiuMei frown," right but how do you know about their dating bans...I've never heard or read about it. Isn't like companies inside info". You paled. Omg. Taehuyng told you, but you thought it was common knowledge. Was it an unwritten rule or something?

"Er ...obviously it wouldn't be broadcast now LiuMei. Did you hear about any kpop artist or actor dating openly? Ms Bai mentioned it briefly today." you quickly add. She nod.

"Wow, Yunru...that's sad. I didn't think they will be banned, but I thought companies just put in their contracts to keep them in line or protect them" she replied.

"So, tell me about your day! Miss Bighit intern!"You chuckle as LiuMei gets hyped up again. She told you about some of the fashion department, her duties, her co-interns that is so nice.

"The stylist are good Yunru. You must see the boys outfits from Balengcia to Gucci. Armani suits and Givenchy footwear. Shew! Our job will be organised and arranging each outfit for each boy. It's so exciting, Yunru. I'm going to touch Jimins clothes." she looks so dreamily.

You smile and her exuberance, " Did you get a glimpse of the group."

"Oh gosh, Yunru we heard from the admin department that the boys were in rehearsals from 6 am -till maybe 6 pm. They usually gave a 12 h dance and vocal rehearsal. We saw cute Bighit trainees. They were three boys walking passed, and they introduced themselves to us.  They were so cute and tall for their ages. Bighit makes sure they choose boys with killer visuals...They even introduced themselves...I think one's name was Soobin ... I can't recall the other twos names. They looked like 14-16years. The same age Kookie debut" she looks so happy.

"Wow!"You said amazed until you realised why you felt the exhaustion so early. Taehuyng was in rehearsals since this morning. You suddenly feel deep concern and wonder how his doing? Isn't he overworking himself?

There's a notification on your phone. You quickly look at the messages—two from Taehuyng and six from Dylan. And few from your family and two best friends.

" who texted you?" LiuMei asks while changing into skinny white jeans and pink top with Jimin's face plastered on it. You just smirk.

"Who do you think almost text me a hundred times a day? " You innocently answer. She'll assume it's Dylan. You quickly open your messages and open "Taelove."

12:00 pm (noon) Darling, are you ok. I suddenly felt so anxious a minute ago. You not hurt are you....please answer.

12:30 pm Yunru, please tell me ...You make me worried. I can feel your concern.

Oh my gosh! Just like you predicted. Your emotions will affect each other. You hope he's ok.

12: 32 Hi love  ...I was worried about you. LiuMei said you guys practise since 6 am. I was concerned about your well-being. I felt so exhausted at 8 am this morning, and when she told me about your dancing schedule, I felt a little worried.

Oh, baby, I'm ok. I'm used to the rigorous dance breaks, I'm fine, please don't worry, Ok.

Ok, thank you. Now I feel relieved.

You quickly open Dylan's messages.

We were going to fly to Shangai together and stay in the same hotel. I can't wait for us to be together.

O gosh. Dylan! Why can't you just give up? Poor Yana!

You send him quickly a message back as LiuMei frown at your annoyed look. But you promptly think happy thoughts. Your priority is Taehuyngs' feelings, not Dylans'.

"What is it?" she asked concern.

"It's Dylan. He still confessed his love for me...LiuMei what I'm I to do with Dyl? He doesn't seem to get it. How will he react when he learns that I found my Soulmate? " you look at her.

LiuMei looks very annoyed," That Dyl is a butt pain! I thought he is working at his relationship with Yana. He doesn't want to try falling for her"

"LiuMei I'm scared he won't give up even if I'm already bond." Why, Dylan, why???

" You know what? Let's go to the Coex mall and shop and eat some American food. Forget about him...he's a monkey." she pulls you out of the hotel room, not forgetting to grab your tote bag.

You and LiuMei took the elevator down and laughing and bickering about your hairstyles.

When you get into the foyer, you sat down on the plush sofas waiting for your Uber LiuMei got a text message. She opens her text messages and visibility paled.

You look at her questionably as she handed you her phone to read.

"What is it?" you ask, concerned.

LiuMei just pressed her lips tightly together and shook her head wordlessly.

You took the phone and read it.

"LiuMei...it's Mike we need to talk."

"Mike as in Mike your Soulmate Mike...the engaged jerk!" you rant furiously.

She nod and its seems like her eyes started to tear up. What the hell. LiuMei just began to get to terms with his cruel rejection. Who does he think he is?

She was so happy the one and a half weeks here in Seoul. She was not giving him any thought when the friends were together.

"What are you going to say LiuMei...it seems he now knows he'll need you too to survive"you look at her sad face.

" Where did he get my contacts?...he doesn't know my number or my family lineage? "She confusedly asked.

"Your dad? Didn't you say your family is in business..just maybe he saw your photos in your dad's office?"You speculate.

"Maybe...! I'm not going to answer him now...here's our Uber let's go and have some fun." She suddenly smiled and looked at her sunny self again. You just frown at her as she dragged you out the glass doors.

You let the Uber dropped you off in town cause you wanted to take a stroll around the area. You visited the mall.

You and LiuMei took selcas together. Laughingly running around and playfully possed at random places. People are just watching you amused.

You walked and explored the place—LiuMei squeal when she shows you your ad at the bus stop. You look amazedly embarrassed.

Oh my gosh!

"Oh Yunru, please take a photo of me in front of the ad. I want to post it on Facebook."She's jumping up and down.

"LiuMei" you whine.

"Yes, and you will also smile and look happy when you're going to pose in front of your picture. We going to send it to your parents" she smugly says.

To make her happy, you let her take some of you also.

You enjoy your shopping trip. You decided to eat Kentucky fried chicken. You sat down and enjoyed your meal while watching the shoppers. After your dinner, you decided to go and try out the famous Basking Robbins Ice cream.

"Are we going to sit inside or outside?"You asked LiuMei

"Let's sit inside. I want to try a list of ice creams. Don't worry, and I'll take it in a bowl, not in a cone". LiuMei laughs.

You just shoved her shoulders and walked in. LiuMei just smirks when she saw how some of the patrons looked at you discreetly. She doesn't want to alert you that your face has become a little recognisable. You'll dash out of the parlour if you are aware of it. So she smiles and follows you.

The waiter shows you an area where you wanted to sit. You look around the parlour and wonder why some girls in the corner are so friendly. Some smile widely at you. You just nod politely. Since when are girls that openly familiar with other girls. Korean people are strange.

"Is it just me, or are these people super happy?"You look at a smirking LiuMei.

"Maybe because we are so beautiful. Or people saw my t-shirt. You know Jimin always attract attention." she giggled.

You look at her shirt and nod, "I'll also look at a weirdo with a man's face over her chest. I hope you'll meet him soon."
