I started pulling as well because one thing she was not bouta do is snatch a phone that she ain't paying for. "No- i was texting my mom" i lied to her as I successfully got my phone out of her grip.

"your mother surely knows you are in school and cant be on the phone during class." she scoffs, not believing my excuse. "it was important" i explained.

She stood silent for a few seconds before speaking up again "detention."

I rolled my eyes and put my head down, my english teacher has some secret beef with me i don't know about.

The rest of class i fell asleep and once it was time to go, i had Art with my best friend Audrey.

"Hi scar!" Audrey greeted me as i walked inside class "hi aud, i got detention by Ms.Paterson" i told her, she rolled her eyes and frowned "we were supposed to watch the new Netflix movie!" Audrey said "yea i know, its only for like 2 hours so after that ima go home and pack my bags for our sleepover" i explained, she nodded as we walked to our seats at the back.
