Wren's outfit:
Chapter Fifty-Three
๐ฐ I.E.D ๐ฐ
"Please stop hovering." Lydia said making Wren look up from her journal to see Malia hovering over Lydia's shoulder. The three of them were sitting in the art room trying to see if Lydia would do some automatic drawing like she did with the Nemeton.
"I'm not hovering- I'm waiting! Draw something. Write something. We need to know who else is on that list." Malia said making Wren raise her eyebrows, "You mean you need to know if you're on the list." She said and Malia looked at her and nodded. "If someone's coming to take my head off... then, yeah, I'd like to know."
Wren watched in amusement as Lydia tried to get back to it but Malia hovering over her shoulder was obviously distracting. "Can you please just sit down. You're making me nervous." Lydia asked and Malia awkwardly nodded and sat down next to Wren, "Sorry."
Wren watched as Lydia closed her eyes and looked like she was about to write or draw something when Malia spoke up. "Guys?" Malia asked making Lydia sigh frustratingly, "What?" She asked but Malia didn't answer right away. "Oh my god, what?" Lydia asked looking over at Malia.
"Maybe we need help... From another Banshee..." Malia said setting the book down for them to see a picture of what kinda looked like someone screaming, "Meredith." Lydia said sighing.
"Eichen House says Meredith can't have visitors without permission from a family member." Lydia said as they walked down the stairs, "That's not gonna be easy, since her whole family is dead." Wren said making Lydia sigh. "Perfect."
"Okay... Maybe we go back to the art room? Or music room?" Malia said and Lydia turned to them, "I'm not plucking piano strings for two hours, waiting for some supernatural inspiration." Lydia said and Malia shrugged. "Fine! What else do Banshees do?" Malia asked, looking back and forth between Lydia and Wren.
"You think I know? I can't just turn this on. I'm not like you guys- I don't have claws, or glowing eyes, or super senses or dreams of the future. I just have voices in my head." Lydia said obviously frustrated and Wren slowly glanced around to see some people looking at them weird.
"Lyds." Wren sighed as Lydia turned around and walked away. Malia and Wren looked at each other and sighed, "I said too much, didn't I?" Malia asked and Wren sighed softly and shook her head. "She's just working herself to much. She's needs a break." Wren said then look down at the time on her phone before sighing.
"And I'm late to Econ." She said then looked back at Malia, "Stay with her and make sure she doesn't kill her brain?" She asked and Malia nodded before Wren walked away.

Wren walked into Econ and sat down in front of Stiles before turning to see what he was looking at. "Did you steal these from your dad?" She as she picked up one of the crime scene photos, "Yep." Stiles said, not looking up at her making her nod and turn back around.
"Economic disparity exists in all forms. Well, take sports, for example. Some teams have better training facilities, some have better equipment... Unlike Beacon Hills, that can barely afford the duct tape to keep our equipment together." Coach explained as he started walking around the room. He walked up to Stiles desk and bang the end of a lacrosse stick on top if it making Stiles jump.
"You know, Stilinski... If I could grade you on how profoundly you disturb me, you'd be an A-plus student." Coach said making Wren chuckle quietly as Stiles nodded, "Thanks, Coach." Stiles said. "Put those pictures away." Coach said, tapping the desk again and Stiles nodded before looking down at the stick.
Suddenly Stiles grabbed the stick right as Coach was about to walk away. He looked at it for a second before ripping off the plastic end and holding up one if the pictures. "Stilinski! What the hell is wrong with you?" Coach asked, trying to pull the stick away but Stiles kept a tight hold on it as he looked back and forth between the end of the lacrosse stick and one of the pictures.
Finally Coach pulled the stick away and looked at Stiles like he was crazy, "Don't answer that." He said before walking away. Wren turned around to look at Stiles as Scott turned to look at him as well. "It's a lacrosse player." Stiles whispered making Wren and Scott look at each other wide eyed, "The killer's on the team."
๐ฐ
"This is pointless- most of the team plays with their own gear." Scott said as he, Stiles, Wren and Kira stood around Coach's office checking all the lacrosse sticks for a knife. "Maybe instead of trying to find a lacrosse stick with a hidden dagger in it, we should be trying to get the game canceled?" Kira asked and Wren sighed and shook her head.
"The game's the best way to catch him red-handed." Wren said, glancing over at Kira, "But what if he's red-handed 'cause his hands are covered in the blood of the person that he just stabbed to death? Which, by the way, could be any one of you guys." Stiles said while pointing between the three of them.
"Or Liam." Wren said and Scott sighed, "Well, we don't have the whole list, and he could be on it." Scott said and she nodded. "We don't know anything about that list- how it's made, how it's updated. I mean, who's been out taking a supernatural census, anyway?" Stiles said. "How do they even know about me?" Kira asked and Wren nodded, "How do they know about me? I don't even know what I am." She said and Scott sighed.
"They know about everyone."
"I think Kira's right. I think we should stop the game." Stiles said and Scott sighed sighed and shook his head, "I'm not afraid." Scott said glancing at all if them. "Neither am I." Kira said making Scott smile at her.
"Well, I'm terrified, and I'm not even on the list! But Wren is worth 20 million so that makes it worse!" Stiles said raising his arms up, "Guys, these are professional killers- it's their profession. One of them's got a thermo-cut wire that cuts heads off! Who knows what else they have?" Stiles said making them all look at each other.
๐ฐ
Scott, Stiles and Wren walked outside right as Liam walked up to the Davenfort Prep students, "Uh oh." Wren mumbled. "I just wanted to say... Have a good game." Liam said, holding his hand out making the Prep students laugh.
"That's cute, Liam. Is that what they told you to say in anger management? Apologize, and everything's fine? You demolished Coach's car." Brett said making Liam start to take deep breath, "I paid for it." He said through clenched teeth. "Yeah, you're going to pay for it. We're gonna break you in half out there- and it's gonna be all your fault." Brett said.
Wren glanced down to see a drop of blood fall from Liam's clenched fist making her instantly run over and gently grab his shoulder, pulling him behind her as Scott and Stiles ran up. "Hey, what's up, prep students? Welcome to our little public high school! How you doing?" Stiles said holding his hand out for a hand shake but Brett just stared at him.
"That's a firm handshake you got there. Uh, we're very excited for the scrimmage tonight, uh, but let's keep it clean, all right? No rough stuff out there. All right, see you on the field! Go!" Stiles said and him and Scott started dragging Liam off with Wren following.
Wren ran into the locker room first and instantly ran into the showers, turning on the water as Scott and Stiles dragged a growling Liam over. "Okay... you calm yet?" Stiles asked after they held Liam under the water for a few minutes, all he got in response was Liam roaring. "Not calm!" Wren said as she pushed against Liam's chest to get hin back under the water.
"Okay! Okay!" Liam panted as he calmed down making them let him go and Wren turned off the water. Liam walked over and leaned against the wall before sliding down. "That car you smashed... I thought you said that was your teacher's?" Scott asked and Liam looked up at the.
"He was also my coach. He benched me for the entire season." Liam said and Wren raised her eyebrows at him, "What did you do?" She asked and he sighed and looked down. "Got a couple of red cards..." He said and Stiles tilted his head and raided his eyebrows, "Just a couple?"
"You gotta be honest with us- what else happened?" Scott asked as he crouched down in front of Liam, "Nothing. I got kicked out of school. They sent me to a psychologist for an evaluation." Liam said. "What did they call it?" Wren asked and he glanced up at her, "Intermittent explosive disorder." He said lowly.
"I.E.D.? You're literally an I.E.D.? That's great. That's great. You gave powers to a walking time bomb!" Stiles said, giving Scott a thumbs up making Wren sigh and shoot him a look as she crouched down next to Liam, "Did they give you anything for it?" She asked.
"Risperdal. It's an antipsychotic." Liam said and Stiles chuckled, "Oh, this just gets better..." Stiles muttered. "But I don't take it-" Liam said, "Obviously!" Stiles interjected making Wren look him. "Stiles?" She asked and he looked at her and hummed, "Shut up." She said and he pouted.
"I can't play lacrosse on it, it makes me too tired." Liam said and Scott sighed and nodded, "Okay. I think you should bail out of the game. Tell Coach your leg is still hurting." Scott said making Liam look up at hin wide eyed. "No! No. I can do this-especially if you're there." Liam said, standing up and Wren sighed and stood up, "This isn't just about the game. We think whoever killed Demarco may have been on our team." She said making hin look at her confused.
"Who's Demarco?"
"The one who brought the beer to the party? The guy who was beheaded, remember?" Stiles asked and Wren nodded, "We think the person who ordered the keg killed Demarco." She said and Liam slowly looked down. "Liam...? What, you know something?"
"I don't know who ordered the keg... But I know who paid for it."

Wren, Lydia and Malia walked into the station and Stilinski walked over to them. "I'm aware this is probably about the Deadpool, but I can't let her leave the station. And, in a minute, I'm gonna have to call Eichen House and let them know that she's here." Stilinski said and Lydia nodded slightly.
"Give us an hour." She said and Stilinski sighed, "You got fifteen minutes." He said before three teens walked into the office. Stilinski were about to follow then until Parrish walked up to them. "You called Lydia?" He asked and Stilinski nodded, "Yeah." He said.
"Because Meredith asked for her, or because of the other thing...?" Parrish asked and Stilinski furrowed his brows in confusion. "What other thing?" Stilinski asked confused and Parrish glanced around for a second before whispering, "The psychic thing." He said making Stilinski squint slightly.
"You think Lydia's psychic?" Stilinski asked and Parrish raised his eyebrows, "And Wren. Don't you?" He said and Stilinski instantly and awkwardly shook his head. "No, I do not... I think that they are, uh... intuitive." Stilinski said making Parrish raised his eyebrows, "That's what they used to call psychics, intuitionists." He said Stilinski sighed. "Yeah, and I used to call myself a rational human being. Get in here and shut the door." He said before walking in.
Parrish followed in after him, shutting the door behind him. "Ask what you need to ask." Stilinski said as Wren leaned against his desk, Parrish moving to stand next to her. Lydia turned to Meredith before holding her phone out making Meredith look at her confused before grabbing the phone.
"Meredith, are you going to answer it?" Lydia asked and Meredith slowly stood up before leaning to whispered into Lydia's ear. "It's not ringing." She whispered, looking at Lydia like she was crazy making Lydia glance back at Wren who just chuckled quietly. Lydia squinted slightly before sighing and crouching down in front of Meredith.
"Meredith, you came to help us, remember?" Lydia asked and Meredith smiled slightly, "You called me..." She said making Lydia look at her confused. "What do you mean, I called you?" Lydia asked and Meredith raised her eyebrows, "I heard you." She said, not helping Lydia's confusion.
"Meredith, can I ask you a question?" Parrish said making them all look at him and Meredith nodded and he crouch down in front of her. "When you need help- when you need to find something- is there someone you reach out to? Maybe someone you call?" He asked and she shrugged slightly.
"It depends... Different people for different things..." She said and he nodded slightly, "So, maybe there's a number that can help us? Someone we can call." He asked and she nodded.
"Yes."
"Would you be okay telling us?" He asked and she nodded again, "Yes." She said making Wren hum slightly while Lydia pulls her phone out to type in the numbers as Meredith started talking again. "It's two, four, three, six..." She said before looking at them with a proud smile.
"Mer, we need a few more numbers." Wren said and Meredith shook her head, "No, that's the number..." She said. "Phone numbers are ten digits." Malia said and Meredith shook her head again, "That's the number-"
"Meredith, phone numbers always have ten digits..." Lydia said and Wren stood up slightly noticing Meredith was close to being agitated. "That's the number." She said and Lydia sigh frustratingly, "Meredith-" Lydia started to say but got cut off.
"Lyds." Wren said while gently grabbing her sister's arm making her stand up, "This might be the best we're gonna get. You need go easy on her." She said and Lydia sighed and shook her head, "No. There has to be more." She said before turning back it Meredith making Wren sigh softly. "What's the rest of it, Meredith? Hmm? Just concentrate!" Lydia demanded and Meredith shook her head, "But that's... that's-that's the number..." Meredith said, obviously very close to a break down.
"Concentrate!"
"That's... That's the number. That's the number." Meredith said and Stilinski sighed softly and stepped forward, grabbing her arm gently. "It's okay, sweetheart, we're-" He started to say but she shot up and pushing him away slightly, "That's the number!" She yelled.

A little while later, Wren, Lydia and Malia sat around the office as Lydia sat in front of the desk and Malia slightly paced around. "Guys... What if it's like algebra?" Malia asked making them look at her confused, "What do you mean?" Lydia asked.
"What if the numbers are actually letters?" Malia asked and realization crossed over Lydia and Wren's features as they looked at each other. Wren quickly got up and walked over to the phone, looking at the buttons for a moment before sucking in a deep breath as Lydia pulled her laptop out.
"Aiden." Wren said in a slight whisper making Lydia pause for a moment before slowly typing AIDEN.
Malia and Wren looked over her shoulder to see names starting to fill the screen. Once all the names came up, one name stood out from the rest as Malia went to call Stiles. All of the sudden the door opened making Lydia and Wren jump quickly shut the laptop before they turned to see Parrish. "Sorry. I was just seeing if you guys were okay. Either of you need a ride home?" Parrish asked and Wren awkwardly pursed her lips and shook her head.
"No, I think we'll be fine..." Wren said as she glanced at Lydia, Parrish nodded and walked back out making the girls sigh before looking back at the list.
