Wren's outfit:

Chapter Fifty-One

"Of course you're still the team captain. You got your grades up, just like Coach told you to, right?" Stiles said as Wren walked up to them as they made their way to the field. "Yeah, but he never told me I was back on the team- he just told me to show up at try-outs today." Scott said and Stiles shrugged slightly, "We got bigger things to deal with, anyway. Did you tell Argent yet?"

"Uh, I texted him, but he didn't get back to me." Scott said making Stiles and Wren stop and look at him incredulously, "You told him his sister Kate came back from the dead over a text?" Wren asked and Scott looked at her sheepishly. "I didn't have the money to call France." He said making her sigh and pinch the bridge of her nose.

"Yeah, you think you got money problems? Try paying for an MRI and a visit to Eichen House." Stiles said making them look at him. "Another notice?" Wren asked and Stiles sighed and nodded, "Yeah. This one said final." Stiles said. "What the hell are we doing here, anyway? We got like, one hundred and seventeen million problems, and worrying about our status on the lacrosse team is not one of them." Stiles said and Scott looked over at the field, "It is now." He said making them turn around.

There was a group of freshman practicing on the field, but what really caught their eye was the goalie. Whoever the goalie was, he was catching every single shot like it was nothing. "Looks like someone's got some competition." Wren said before leaning toward Stiles, "That someone is Scott." She whispered, smiling when Stiles looked at her offended.

Stiles and Wren walked together to math class to see Malia trying to sneak away from the class making Wren run up to her and grab her shoulders. "I hate math. It's pointless." Malia said as Wren pushed her into class. Wren went to sit behind her sister, next to Stiles who said behind Malia.

"It's school! School is important, and math is essential." Stiles said, "To what?" Malia asked turning to Stiles. "Knowing how much to tip at restaurants." Stiles said making both Wren and Lydia turn to him. "And other less important things, like medicine, economics, engineering..." Lydia said making Malia look at her while Stiles just nodded, "Tipping." He whispered as the teacher turned to the class.

"All right, volunteers to the board! Wren, Diego, Malia..." Ms. Flemming said making Malia and Wren glance at each other, "I didn't volunteer." Malia said. "You did now. To the board." Ms. Flemming said and Wren sighed before nodding at Malia and walking over to the board.

Malia stood next to her, looking at her equation completely lost and confused, "Did you go over the notes Lydia gave you?" Wren asked and Malia looked over at her wide eyed.

"I didn't understand them." She said and Wren glanced back to see Ms. Flemming was distracted by another student making Wren look at Malia's equations. "X equals twenty-five." Wren whispered making Malia look at her again and sigh as Wren worked on her equation.

"And Malia?" Wren asked, stepping over to Malia making her look at her again, "Put away the claws before someone sees." She whispered making Malia look down at her clawed hand before quickly putting them down.

"An axe-murderer?" Kira asked as she, Stiles, Scott and Wren walked through the halls, "A family-murdering axe-murderer!" Stiles said and Scott just nodded, "I already heard about it." Scott said. "Wait, what? You did? How?" Stiles asked and Scott glanced at him, "My mom called me. She knew we'd see it on the news."

"Perfect! Lets go!" Stiles said but Scott stopped him. "Whoa, whoa- we've got econ. in five minutes." He said making Stiles look at him crazy, "All right, did you forget the part about the family-murdering axe- murderer?"

"Did you forget your dad's the sheriff? They want us to stay out of it."

"There's a family-murdering axe-murderer and we're not going to do anything about it?" Stiles said looking at Scott incredulously. "Maybe we should just let the adults handle it." Kira said and Wren nudged Stiles's arm, "We'll talk about it in class." She whispered.

"So, the two of you, you just want to stay here, school, go to class? Never heard anything so irresponsible in my life! Wren is now my favorite person." Stiles said then pulled Wren away to walk to class, "I already was." She said and he flicked the back of her head.

"See you at tryouts!" Scott called out making Stiles just do a dramatic hand gesture and Wren laughed.

Wren walked up to the field to see Stiles shoot a ball right into the goalie's stick making her cringe and walk over to him and Scott. "I thought you got good at this game." Wren said and Stiles just gave her a look before looking at Liam who stepped up to shoot, "You know, maybe he's only good in goal. You know, just totally useless on the rest of the field." Stiles said and Scott nodded.

They watched as Liam took the shot and the ball went right pass the goalie and into the net making Coach cheer slightly. "Maybe he's just perfect at everything. ...I hate him." Stiles said and Wren chuckled.

"You don't have to hate him. The team needs new players." Scott said and Stiles looked at him, "What about a new team captain?" He asked making Scott's eyes widen. Wren reached up and flicked the side of Stiles's head making him look at her offended, "Dont say that. You're gonna ruin his mojo." She said as Scott scooped up a ball.

He took the shot and the ball ended up hitting the metal pole of the goal making Wren and Stiles cringe as the team laughed.

"Nice one McCall!" Garrett yelled making both Stiles and Wren glare at him. "Hey Garrett!" Stiles yelled making the boy look over, "Shut up." Stiles finished. Garrett just rolled his eyes, looking at his friends laughing. But his laugh was cut short when suddenly a lacrosse ball hit him in the chest making him groan.

Everyone looked over in the direction the ball came from to see Wren standing there with a happy smile after she had thrown the ball. "Martin! Stop abusing my players!" Coach yelled making Wren wave him off. "Now I have to go. I'll see you later for studying with Malia." Wren said, looking at Stiles before giving both of them a look, "Please stop sucking."

Parrish looked up from his phone to see someone walking up to the front door of the Walcott house making him instantly get out and cross the street. The closer he got the more he recognized the person, "Wren?" He asked making Wren turn around to look at him.

"Deputy." She said and he looked at her confused, "What are you doing here?" He asked and this time it was her turn to look at him confused. "It's my hous-" She trailed off as she looked at the house, "This isn't my house." She said and then turned back to him. "Whose house is this?" She asked, "The Walcotts." He said and she nodded glancing back at the house.

"Of course it is." She whispered quietly, "Should I be worried about why you're at a crime scene. I heard about how many times your sisters found dead bodies, most of the times you were with her." He said making her hum slightly. "So what I'm hearing is that my sister and I have a reputation." She said and he nodded.

"May I ask why you keep finding bodies or at least keep finding yourself at crime scenes?" He asked and she smiled at him. "Would you believe me if I said we're psychic?" She asked and he sighed and raised his eyebrows, "I'll put that into consideration." He said.

He was about to say something but then something in the window caught his attention, "Stay here." He said as he slowly removed his gun from his belt making her eyes widen. He started walking up to the door and she quickly followed behind making him stop as he opened the door. "I said stay here." He said glancing back at her and she just shrugged, "My best friend is Stiles Stilinski, I never listen." She said making him sigh.

"Beacon County Sheriff's Department! This is a crime scene! Show yourself!" He called out as he slowly walked into the house, Blake slowly following behind him. Someone suddenly turned the corner making Parrish point his gun at them but lowered it when they noticed it was Lydia.

"I would try to explain it, but... I've never gotten a satisfactory explanation myself." Lydia said and Wren chuckled while Parrish put his gun away, "Just an unusual habit of showing up at places where people have been brutally murdered?" He said making Wren smile at Lydia.

"We have a reputation." Wren said and Lydia hummed, "According to Wren you're psychics." Parrish said making Lydia raise her eye at Blake. "Psychic?" She asked and Wren shrugged, "I mean, am I wrong? About me at least." She said and Lydia rolled her eyes before looking at Parrish. "Don't tell me you believe all that?" She said and he shrugged.

"I'd like to say I don't believe in anything, but I keep an open mind. But, if you guys are looking for dead bodies, I think you're a little late." He said as Wren glanced around slightly. She looked over at the wall, getting a weird feeling from it before walking over to it. She lightly pushed against it making a hidden door open.

She looked over at Lydia and Parrish wide-eyed, "Maybe I am actually psychic." She mumbled and Parrish and Lydia walked over to her.

Parrish slowly pushed it open wider as a cool fog flowed out of it. He cautiously pulled his gun and flashlight out and slowly walking in, the Martin sisters following behind. The entire place was freezing cold making Lydia rub her arms as she grabbed Wren's arm. Parrish shined his flashlight around until he found a switch and flipped it making the all the lights turn on that's when they noticed all the hanging bags.

"I think it's a game locker. Like venison. Hunting's legal in some parts of the state." Parrish said as Wren subconsciously walked over to one of the bags. She reached up and pulled down the zipper making her suck in a deep breath and step back. "Guys..?" She asked making them look over at her. "What is it?" Lydia asked and Wren shook her head, "This isn't venison." She said.

Parrish instantly walked over to her, looking up at what she was looking at to see the body of a woman. He instantly pulled her away from the bag and zipped it back up while Lydia grabbed Wren arm.

Wren laid on her stomach next to Stiles with Malia sitting in front of them. "So an entire game locker of dead bodies?" Stiles asked and Wren shook her head, "Study." She said as she helped Malia with some math work and Stiles groan. "You can't just tell me that you and Lydia found a game locker full of bodies at the house of the family who were just murdered with an axe." He said and she gave him a look.

"Study, Stilinski." She said making him pout before noticing Malia highlighting a bunch of things with a red highlighter with a yellow and green one next to her. "What's with all the highlighters?" Stiles asked and Malia shrugged slightly, "Wren told me to use green is for the things I understand. Yellow is for "I'm working on it," and... red means I have no clue... I'm mostly using red." She said.

Stiles furrowed his brows slightly before glancing over at his old crime board before looking at Wren with a small smile. "So, what's the secret? Why is math impossible for me and easy for you guys?" Malia asked and Stiles looked at her and shrugged slightly, "Because we use Lydia's notes and Wren just some how naturally knows everything." He said and Wren furrowed her brows slightly.

Then somebody needs to give me notes on Lydia's notes, because I don't understand any of this." She said before turning Lydia's notebook around for them to look at the notes. "Lydia wrote these?" Wren asked as she looked through the notes confused, "Yeah... What are they?" Malia asked and Wren and Stiles glanced at each other.

"They're not math." Stiles said as they looked at the lines of written codes on Lydia's notebook.
