IT WAS DARK, SO DARK THAT F/N COULDN'T SEE A THING. F/n wasn't afraid of the dark, she was afraid of what was to get her in the dark. The sharp ringing sound that rang through her ears didn't help at all.

The place was cold and there was nothing but thin night clothes to protect her from the freezing air. She felt the need for someone's company, the need for Levi to be there for her and protect her.

But there was no one. No one to hear her, no one to be there for her.

"Help..." a high-pitched voice whispered in her ear, causing her to pale in fear, "Help me..."

"Who?" she breathlessly asked, even though her purpose of asking was not to ask for the person's identity but for them to get away from her.

But the person did not answer. Instead, they repeated the word over and over again.

"Help..."

F/n took a step back, body shaking as she desperately searched for a wall behind her. Her hands were on her sides but they were shaking as fear washed over her whole.

She was unable to formulate a whole statement, unable to remember what had happened before this happened to her. All she could do was mutter a word.

"Who?" she demanded frightfully.

"Help... Help... Help me..."

"Who?" she shouted, backing away at a fast pace, "Who are you?"

"Help me..." the voice repeated, desperation laced through the two words.

"Who are you?" she shrieked as she stumbled on the ground, backing away frantically with the help of her arms and legs.

Then a female figure appeared in her vision. Her eyes were white and her hair was long. Her lips were dry and her white teeth were shown as she muttered out one word.

"You."

New, salty tears formed in her eyes and her face felt weird when she blinked. The sky was dark but the moon was bright, along with the many stars in the sky.

F/n rubbed her eyes, moving backwards until her back met the wall. She shuddered at the memory of her dream. The girl's face... she was her, wasn't she? Who she met was herself, right?

It was strange but the fact that her eyes were all white was terrifying. It was haunting her and the worst thing was, it wasn't only in her dreams.

Her back felt like someone was behind her even though she knew there wasn't anyone else in the room which probably made it even scarier. Her breathing was rough and unsteady from all the crying and the scary feeling she was experiencing.

She desperately needed someone she could trust to be behind her and protect her from danger. But after all of those dreams she had seen, who could?

F/n took a quill from her desk and dipped it in the black ink, positioning it above the piece of paper as she hesitantly wrote out a few words as her last before her departure.

She neatly placed it back to where it belonged and folded the paper in half, placing it in the centre of the table.

F/n walked out of the room and closed the door behind her as quietly as she could. Each step she took felt heavy as she tried to reduce the noise of her bare feet against the wooden floor.

She knew Levi must still be awake as he was insomniac, based on their previous talk the other night. They had accompanied each other and the night wasn't so scary with him there with her.

She felt safe and certain that if there was any danger to come to her, Levi would be there to protect her. But, again, after those dreams, F/n didn't know what to believe or who to trust anymore.

She didn't even trust herself.

She still felt sleepy but the memory of her dreams kept her awake as a cup of coffee in the morning.

It was the morning though, 12:32 in the morning. F/n took the survey corps cape that she took from the chair in her room and wrapped it around her as the cold air hit her skin like a sharp knife.

She clipped it secure and rubbed her arms with her hands, attempting to warm herself up. Her stomach grumbled but she ignored the painful sensation, continuing her journey to the stables.

She walked towards a fully white-coated Thoroughbred horse. It neighed and was about to gallop away when the door opened but she rubbed its forehead, calming it down almost instantly.

It was hard to keep that particular Thoroughbred calm but he seemed to keep calm whenever F/n touched him. It was odd but very convenient so it was given to her to ride.

She climbed on it, galloping away slowly and quietly. The tall figure of the survey corps headquarters slowly drifted away from her vision, appearing to be nothing but darkness in the night sky.

F/n faced forward, breathing in a deep breath before releasing it slowly. She momentarily shut her eyes until they reached Wall Rose. Wall Maria was still broken and she would be exposed to sleeping Titans once she get through this wall.

The woman stared up at it, the tall wall that had kept the people inside protected from Titans, those human-eating beasts humanity had been fighting against for years and yet they still never manage to achieve that superiority against them.

She jumped off of her horse and knelt on the ground. Placing a hand on the grass, crystals formed and made a steep slope towards the top of the wall. F/n rode the horse and guided him towards the top before shattering it under her touch.

She created another slope to the other side of the wall and rose down, repeating the action to get rid of the slope. She ascended the horse once again, staring at the humongous wall as she sucked in a deep breath.

This would be the first-ever time she would get away from it alone. Alone with no one else with her. Alone with nothing else but her ability to form crystals.

She would be able to survive, wouldn't she? She had a power, a horse and a talent to fight. She surely would be able to survive on her own without anyone's help.

Hopefully, she would.

F/n was unsure. But she knew that there was no going back. So through the cold air, they rode, under the dark sky with billions of stars watching over her like guardians of her own.
