"HOW ARE YOU?" was the first thing that Mikasa asked the second she came into the room.
Following behind her were Armin, Eren, Connie, Sasha, Historia and Jean – which was quite surprising, to say the very least.
"Good," F/n responded, still lying comfortably on the bed.
"You've been unconscious for three days. Three!" Eren emphasised
"We were so worried that you might not wake up..." Armin sheepishly admitted.
"I'm awake," F/n said reassuringly.
"We're glad," Historia nodded, eyebrows arched and hands clasped against her chest.
"We brought food!" Sasha announced as Connie walked up to the woman with the tray of food, "Steamed potatoes, bread and even meat!"
"We had to stop her from eating the meat too," Connie stated, placing the tray on her lap, "If it wasn't for Captain Levi, she would've eaten it already."
F/n muttered out a 'thank you' that was accompanied by a grateful nod before digging in her food, of course with Sasha staring at them with hungry eyes. F/n was about to give her some food when Jean stopped her.
"Don't give her your food. She ate more than enough already and would probably be scolded by the commander if caught eating more," Jean bluntly said with crossed arms and half-lidded eyes.
She nodded, slowly placing the bread down while Sasha was held back by Connie for trying to reach for the food.
"F/n," Mikasa sat down on her bed, placing a timid hand on the older's, "Thank you for saving us. We would've not been okay without you."
"That's right," Eren nodded, "You know when you screamed? How did you do that? Pushing the Titans away?"
"I don't know," she truthfully said.
"Do you know when Eren screamed after?" Armin asked, "He controlled the Titans, right? Can you maybe do that too?"
She shook her head.
"I don't know."
"Then how did you make crystals with your hands?" Jean asked next, wondering as well if he was the one who was curious about it.
"I don't know," she said again.
Armin gazed at her, eyebrows furrowing in deep thought. She had only been using her crystal abilities four days ago and it was seemingly as though she had already mastered it.
As though she had already mastered it.
The boy's eyes widened, a theory forming in his young yet intelligent mind. He let out a small gasp before speaking up about his theory.
"Could it be because she's part Titan?" he suggested and his friends turned to look at him as if he was insane.
"Part Titan? I didn't even know she's part Titan," Connie shamelessly admitted.
"It's still just a theory," Eren reassured, "But why would you say that, Armin?"
The boy gulped at the feeling of his friends' eyes all on him, already sensing the curiosity and the attention given.
"i-It's also a theory but I- but I... I just thought..." he trailed off before continuing, "I just thought that that's the most reasonable thing to say, right? Unless we're missing a piece of information that we're not aware of."
"Think about it," he said, "F/n was found in the woods by Captain Levi with her being trapped in a tree with crystals. She must have not known the human language so how can she learn from no German to broken German and now fluent without being taught by anyone?"
There was a moment of silence of the adolescents thinking with all their might, trying to figure out the possible answer to the question.
Armin had a point but it was just too... unbelievable, even in their situation with all of these Titans beyond the walls that were built by Titans themselves.
Jean scoffed, shifting his weight before voicing his thoughts.
"Are you out of your mind, Armin?" he asked, "Even if she was part Titan, even if that was the reason behind it, aren't Titans stupid?"
"Jean's right," Historia said, "But I also agree with the last bit Armin said. There must be something we're missing."
While being too occupied in the deep discussion, Mikasa glanced away from the group and to the woman who was mindlessly eating the last bit of her potato.
Could she really be partially Titan? What does 'partially a Titan' mean? Was it like an abnormal Titan, like Eren? Was it just inheriting their powers but not their forms? Could she really learn things that quickly?
So many questions were formed and yet, no answer was provided.

"I have a theory!" Hange claimed, barging in the room with her finger pointed upwards and her eyes on the ceiling.
Everyone turned to look at her as she approached F/n, who was peacefully eating her steamed potato with Erwin and Levi. She sat down on the bed, next to the female with a large grin.
"What is it, Hange?" Erwin asked half-heartedly.
"I think that F/n can't die unless being sliced in the nape!"
That caught their attention at the speed of the light. Their heads snapped back towards her, intrigued by what she had to say.
"Why would you say that?" the commander questioned, placing the glass of water on the wooden table.
"Well..." she shifted comfortably before getting into the explanation, "Remember when F/n got stabbed in a place where 'normal humans' would die if they did? She would've, even with her Titan ability."
"What do you mean?" he asked, eyebrows furrowed in concentration, "You said that she might've just healed quickly from her Titan abilities."
"That was a theory," Hange pointed out, "I did some more experiments, and calculated the time taken for Eren to heal when we did the experiment. It took quite some time and if that was the case for F/n as well, then she wouldn't have made it."
Silence engulfed them whole with Hange, surprisingly, patiently waiting for them to speak up about the matter.
"That doesn't make sense," Levi rejected, "If she could only be killed by slicing her nape, then what would happen if hundreds of swords hit her? What would happen if she fell off a million kilometres tall tower? What would happen if a Titan swallowed her?"
"Exactly what I was wondering," she said, "So I thought about it again and made one conclusion."
A dramatic pause.
"That is?" Erwin asked while raising a brow.
"It's connected to her royal blood."
