THE EYES OF MANY WIDENED SIMULTANEOUSLY AT THE SIGHT OF THE CRYSTAL DOME. Commander Nile flinched as the object appeared right in front of his face suddenly.

"W-What?" he stuttered, figure shaking slightly, "You..."

Erwin and Levi both turned to F/n, who was standing on the ground, shoes crystallised and eyes narrowed at the clueless commander.

She stepped forward, all while leaving her shoes behind. With only the crystal wall to separate her and the commander, she placed her hand on the wall. The crystal extended and as soon as it made contact with the gun, it crystallised immediately.

The commander let go of the rifle, taking a step back fearfully while the other military police stared at the scene unfold in shock and fright.

"No," she mouthed whilst glaring at him.

Commander Nile just let out noises of his own, unable to be heard from inside of the dome. Erwin decided to step in and spoke up.

"F/n," he said in a stern voice and the girl turned to look at him with innocent eyes, "What happened?"

F/n stared at him for a moment.

"Him. You," she said and Erwin waited patiently for her to continue as she struggled with her words, "... Bang."

"Bang?" he repeated, staying silent for a moment before continuing, "No one is or will be hurt. Can you get rid of this?"

She shook her head.

"No," she simply responded, earning a raised eyebrow from the commander.

"No? Why not?" he asked.

"Because she can't do it," Levi interjected, eyes boring right into F/n's, "The tree. You did it, didn't you?"

Her eyes widened for a fraction of time before it shrunk into its original size.

"No..." she murmured, looking down at her bare feet, almost guiltily.

Erwin gazed at her for a moment before letting out a quiet sigh.

"We'll talk about this after. Now, can you try to break us free?" he asked.

Just as she was about to respond, another explosion erupt and the vibration through the ground was large. That caused her to shriek, her ear-piercing scream echoed through the dome and the crystal cracked and shattered into a million tiny pieces.

Everyone's postures faltered slightly at the agonising noise. The blonde commander turned to Levi before taking a glance at the girl, who was still crouching on the ground with fingers tightly gripping her hair.

Erwin sighed. "We'll talk later," he said to Levi before turning to the traumatised commander.

"E-Erwin you-!"

Then, a military policeman came to his commander and reported the status.

"Titans are fighting against each other?" the commander repeated.

"Yes," the other man confirmed, "The damage done to the city is unimaginable. Scores of civilians and soldiers have been killed or wounded."

The commander gritted his teeth, positioning his rifle back at the other.

"Erwin! Is this the result of your doing?" he demanded with drops of sweat dripping down his forehead.

"It is," he bluntly responded, "I acted entirely on my own authority. I offer no excuses."

The commander stepped closer and grabbed the taller man by his cape.

"You must have known what this plan of yours would have caused in the middle of a city! Why did you do it?" Nile shouted.

"For mankind's victory."

"Don't give me that!" the dark-haired man shouted, "You're a traitor! Not only did you bring two Titans inside the walls, but you also took in an eccentric girl within Wall Sina, nearly causing the death of many people! None of the higher-ups will complain if I execute you right now!"

"If you wish. But you will be in charge afterwards," Erwin replied and the other commander flinched, "Do not let the Female Titan escape. Peers are in charge of troop deployment. Bernier is in charge of provisions. Work with them and do whatever it takes-"

"Wait! Stop!" Nile interrupted, "Do you really think this is for humanity's sake?"

"I have faith it will serve as a step forward."

The Commander of The Military Police took a moment to think before lowering his gun.

"Everyone, lower your guns!" he commanded, "Cuff him!"

"Yes, sir!"

"Deploy all troops and focus on aiding and evacuating the citizens!"

"Yes, sir!"

The man stared at the blonde with wide eyes and a stern look on his face.

"Erwin," he stated, "I'll let the court of law decide how to execute you."

"I'll gladly accept that once everything is over," he replied then turned to the short captain, "Levi. Stay put. You don't like pointless death."

"You're right," he openly admitted, "I'm not fond of causing it or experiencing it."

The other commander hissed, facing a Military Police.

"Take the girl and cuff her as well," Nile ordered and Erwin immediately stepped in.

"You can take me but leave her be," he said.

"She, too, is a threat to humanity!" he insisted, "Seeing what she can do earlier... There is no proof that she might also be a Titan!"

Suddenly, a scream was heard, making all their attention shift towards where it came from. Levi took this as a chance to get ready, using his ODM gear to fly off while taking F/n along with him.

"Stay here," he said and flew off as the girl followed his figure flying away from her.

F/n pushed herself to stand up onto her knees, eyes scanning the corrupted area. There was a fire burning everywhere and the buildings were broken down into pieces. Dead bodies were scattered along with splatters of blood.

She shuddered, goosebumps crept up her arms and legs as she searched for the man. In a nearby building, she spotted a couple of Eren's friends and Hange as they watched Eren's Titan 'merging' with The Female Titan.

The girl stood up, legs shaking slightly as she cupped her hands around her mouth.

"HANGE!" she shouted and the woman in spectacles turned to her with wide eyes with the other cadets following after.

The woman, without a moment of hesitation, flew towards the younger and examined her.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" she asked, holding her chin to search for any wounds.

She shook her head.

"Erwin," she muttered, looking at the roof of the building they were on.

Hange looked at her, silently asking what she was talking about. Without adding anything else, she carried the smaller woman and flew towards the others on top of the other building.

"F-F/n," Armin saluted towards the woman as she just stared at him in confusion. He had done that the first time they met and like the other day, the others followed.

She squinted her eyes.

"Armin," she muttered out a greeting, causing pink to lightly graze on the boy's cheeks, "Jean."

The boy nodded in greeting, still holding his salute. F/n inched closer to him and the boy grew slightly flustered. She narrowed her eyes and poke his arm before pushing it down and repeated the same for Armin.

"Mikasa!" Hange shouted, interrupting the interaction, "Don't!"

F/n shifted her gaze towards the black-haired female who was in a stance, ready to fight whenever. A figure came in, slicing the nape of Eren's Titan.

With a gulp, she watched as the boy was taken out of the Titan's body, skin evaporating with only the skeleton remaining.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

SNAP!

Jean cursed under his breath as his sword broke once again while the crystal remained as firm as ever.

"What is this? After everything, we get the silent treatment?" Jean shouted with much irritation, "Annie! Get out of there! Get out of there and pay for what you've done! Come on! Don't be a weakling! Annie! ANNIE!"

As he raised his already broken sword, a hand landed on his shoulder, halting his movements.

"Stop," Levi interrupted, "It's pointless."

F/n watched as the scene unfold in front of her. She then gazed at the crystal the girl called Annie was in.

Annie Leonhart. F/n never met her before but she was slightly intrigued with her. What was so important about her that they had to go through all of that just for her?

The woman stood up, taking small steps that inched closer to the younger girl. She stopped right in front of the crystal and raised her hand.

She placed it on the crystal, silently examining it.

It seemed as though it was the same crystal she created twice in her life now. First the tree and then the dome. And now, there was Annie, who created this crystal layer to protect her.

Just like how she did when she was little.

F/n furrowed her eyebrows in thought, slowly letting her hand slide off the object as Hange ordered the cadets to transport the girl. Levi, from the corner of his eye, had been watching her every move.

If she could break the crystal dome with just her scream, could she break Annie's crystal too? If she could make the crystal dome, what more could she do?
