THE PLACE WAS silent after paying attention to what the priest just said about antanasia. if the priest said that she was in danger, then it means that it's true because no other people would fool around about the life of the crown princess of the obelian empire.

"i'm... in danger?" she looked at him confused about what he declared to her as she didn't understand why she was in danger. i mean, sure she has a lot of enemies as she's the most targeted because she'll be taking the throne soon but she didn't think that her enemies would follow her around here.

apollo nodded then spoke. "yes, your life is indeed in danger, your highness." he smiled at her as antanasia was a bit confused about what the priest was trying to tell her.

eric looked at them and then spoke. "hold on, how do you know that? i mean, i'm not trying to say i don't believe you or something but this is just a bit confusing don't you think?" he looks at them as the others agree to what the crown prince said.

apollo then explained everything to why he knows the princess is in danger. "your royal highness, did you forget that i can see someone's future just by touching them?" he chucked.

antanasia then remembered. "oh, you're the one who i bumped into yesterday!" apollo then nodded. "i was in a hurry that time so i apologised for not looking where i was going and for not apologising to you that time." he bowed as antanasia smiled and accepted his apology.

"now, now. don't you think that you should tell us why her highness is in danger?" akari spoke in a serious tone. knowing that something will happen to her friend, she wants to make sure that she'll be there to save antanasia as her friend and knight.

apollo looked at the blunette as he spoke once again in a sincere response. "i apologise, but i do not know the reason why her highness is in danger and what will happen to her highness. i might know the future but i do not know when that will happen." akari frowned upon what he said as antanasia patted her back as a way of easing her.

the atmosphere was a bit too intense as no one dared to speak at all. antanasia looked around to see everyone else in their own world, she was now worried and kinda feel bad for her friends as it looks like this news affected them more than her. "well then, i guess we'll just have to wait for it to happen?" she chucked as the others looked at her as if she was insane.

"are you kidding?" antanasia looked at her friend royin. "your life is in serious danger, and you're just making fun of it?" he spoke in a serious tone. she sighed by this as she didn't look at their face anymore as she knows that they're all just worried at her own being.

"hey, when does my life have peace? all my life i knew it's always dangerous, you know?" she finally looked up to see their faces. "i know that you're all worried but let's just worry about that some other time." she chuckled as the others sighed as they know that antanasia can be like this sometimes.

apollo then spoke. "still your highness, it's better to know your surroundings. you don't know when it will happen because it can be today or tomorrow and maybe some other day." antanasia nodded in response.

"don't worry, it's not like someone could harm me without me knowing." she chuckled. "i might look like some weak girl but don't forget that i'm related to claude, the emperor of the obelian empire." she smiled as the others felt at ease now. she's right, she might look some kind of naive girl but antanasia is strong than the others think.

IT'S BEEN THREE DAYS since the talked with the priest happened and so far, nothing bad was happening which that's something they're glad about. but deep down, they're still worried for their friend's well-being because there's still a chance that something bad will happen to her. akari was still a bit paranoid and was sticking by antanasia 24/7 and that makes antanasia a bit too uncomfortable.

"akari, my dear. don't you think that being with me is being a bit too much? i mean, i appreciate that you are concerned about my well-being but i still need some alone time." antanasia spoke to her friend as she looked at the blunette who was still by her side as they were in antanasia's chamber.

akari looked at her friend as she sighed. "i'm sorry, nas. i guess you were right, i was just a bit too paranoid about the talk we had a week ago." antanasia nodded as she went to hug her dearest friend.

"i know that you're worried but... we came here to have fun and for val's engagement with eric, okay?" the blunette nodded as she finally stopped being paranoid. "you're right... i feel bad for valkyria." akari spoke.

"don't worry, i actually don't mind." valkyria spoke which made the two startled and looked at the girl. "you scared us! i didn't even hear your footsteps." the blunette spoke.

valkyria shrugs her shoulders as she goes to sit in the chair close to them. "you two were busy talking that you didn't even notice me." she lazily spoke as she continued. "anyway, all of us are also worried about antanasia but as what she said, don't worry too much since you guys are in this palace and nothing will happen to her because eric has a lot of guard in here to protect us from harm." she looked at her friend akari.

akari sighed once again as she nodded. "fine, but I'll still be there for nas since we really don't know when it will happen." she spoke as the others just nodded in response.

"tomorrow will be the day where eric and i will be announcing our engagement." valkyria spoke as the two looked at her.

"are you nervous?" antanasia spoke as the purple-haired girl nodded. "who wouldn't? eric also has a lot of enemies in his back and some would probably target me." valkyria groans as she puts her hands in her face.

antanasia chuckled by this which made valkyria look at her. "what? was there something funny about what i said?" she raised an eyebrow as antanasia shook her head. "no, no. i was just thinking about that you won't be able to go wherever you want now as you pleased." she chucked once more which made the girl frowned.

"why do you have to remind me of that?" valkyria pouted but then also started laughing which made the two girls also laugh at this. the chamber was full of laughter and the weird tension a while ago disappeared and was replaced with happiness as the three smiled at each other. somehow, they wished that this will last forever but they all knew that won't happen at all as antanasia's life is still in danger.

THE BALL HAS finally began and the others are talking to each other while waiting for valkyria and her fiancé, eric. they almost forgot about the warning about antanasia as all they want for now is to focus on their friend's engagement party.

"how long do we have to be here? being with these nobles makes me feel uncomfortable." royin spoke as he looked around the ball while being bored and uncomfortable with it at the same time.

antanasia rolled her eyes at what he said as she spoke.  "now, now. we won't leave here as valkyria hasn't come yet." royin groaned as he didn't even have a choice but to stay put because valkyria is also his friend and wanted to at least congratulate her.

they've waited for at least an hour and now the main characters in the ball have finally arrived. the squad looked at their dear friend who's wearing a beautiful purple dress that suits her a lot and she was also matching the prince's outfit. yua looked at her childhood friend as she's happy that valkyria finally allowed to announce the engagement after eight years of hiding it.

valkyria and eric greeted all the guests that went to them and then excused herself to go greet her friends. the others waved at her as valkyria smiled at them. "i'm really glad that you guys went here to celebrate my engagement with eric." she spoke softly as the others also smiled well except our dear royin who rarely smiles.

"well, we wouldn't miss it since you're our friend." akari spoke as val smiled more at this.

"congratulations on your engagement, princess valkyria." royin spoke as valkyria looked at him. "man, it feels weird being called princess by you." valkyria rolled her eyes as royin has an irk on his forehead. "yeah, it doesn't suit you at all." he sarcastically remarked as the girl looked offended playfully. they all laughed as they also joked around by this which made the other nobles let them be while just watching their cute interactions.

antanasia looked at them as she felt happy with them by her side. she looked at the wine that was in her hand that the butler gave her a while ago then decided to drink it. but somehow, the drink she had felt a bit weird as it felt like her throat was burning and her body was being paralysed. she was now coughing hard as she saw her hand having a blood then she looked up to her friends worried about her as she didn't even understand what they were saying when she slowly felt her eyes closing and the last thing she saw was royin trying to catch her and the girls shouting at something.

EVERYTHING WAS in chaos as the palace was too busy and noisy all because the crown princess of the obelian empire has been poisoned and almost all her friends are worried sick about her especially, akari who was pacing back and forth outside the chamber where antanasia is in.

"it's all my fault! i didn't get to check the drink she had." akari spoke as she felt like crying. royin went beside her telling her that it wasn't her fault and assuring her that antanasia will be fine.

"none of us knew this would happen. we just know that her life is in danger but we didn't know when. then again, now we know that today was the day it would happen." yua spoke as she looked at valkyria who was just looking at the door in where their ill friend is.

valkyria has been looking at the door ever since they've put antanasia inside. her mind is in chaos right now and she kept blaming herself for what happened to her friend. she had a guts that day would somehow be the day where antanasia's life would be in danger but she didn't even bother saying it to the others as that was just a hunch. but she didn't know that she would be right at some point and now, valkyria kept blaming herself for everything that happened.

eric finally arrived to see all of them are saddened and worried about the crown princess. "i apologise for coming here late. i just went to give the letter to his majesty from the obelian empire." he spoke as he went beside his fiancé.

"his majesty will be mad once he knows his daughter, the crown princess was poisoned." akari spoke softly as she's now tired. eric sighed at this as he knows how cruel the emperor of the obelian empire can get as there were a lot of rumors around him after all. "i just hope he won't declare a war thinking that it was our fault that antanasia was poisoned." yua spoke as she looked eric. "i hope so too." eric looked down while trying to ease his fiancé.

"what would happen to nas now?" valkyria asked as she was looking at the floor while fidgeting her fingers. "honestly, i do not know but i made sure to call all the expert healers i could get as soon as possible so i'm sure that her highness will be alright." eric spoke as he reassured valkyria.

"he's right." royin spoke as they all looked at him. "she's a strong girl so she'll be fine in no time. for now, let's just wait for her until she's alright and well as you know that nas would be sad that we're all just here dwelling for her." royin might look like he's okay but he's also worried sick for his friend but he has to be the one standing strong for his friends for now.

royin looked at akari who was in deep thoughts. he knows that she was blaming herself for what happened and he felt bad about it as he knows that the two of them are very close to each other. antanasia was everything to akari and they all know that because she would always protect the princess from everything but somehow, antanasia was oblivious about it. he doesn't even know what to do at this point but all he knows that akari needed some time alone for now to recollect her thoughts.

001. nas likes to feed lucas some chocolates and of course, lucas would eat them because nas is feeding him.

002. valkyria learned how to ride a horse so she can escape when she gets bored.

003. when nas said to her father that she was the one who named athy, claude bought a lot of gifts for her because he remembers that he called her a wench.

004. claude did love diana but he only used her because she looks like estelle and acted like her. (little did he know that diana also used him to take care of our mc nas.)

005. nas is still thinking about whether she likes lucas or not.
