THE ATMOSPHERE was a bit awkward for athanasia as she watched her sister and dad glaring at each other intensely. she sighed and ignored the two who were having a staring contest. "dad… please allow me to come to the castina empire," nas said as claude frowned.

"no." 

"but dad—"

"no buts."

nas slammed her hand on the table angrily. "that is so not fair! how come athanasia can do whatever she wants but not me?" she said as athy choked on her tea, shocked that she suddenly got involved in their argument.

"that's because she doesn't even leave the palace at all," claude said in a sincere tone as he took a sip of his tea. "you will also be the next heir to the throne that's why you aren't allowed to leave as you are pleased anymore." 

"but dad! you're not that old, you can still take care of the throne!" she said as claude looked at her, shocked at what she said. an imaginary arrow was shot on his heart. "i know that i'm not that old, but you don't have to go that far." athy looked at him trying not to laugh at his reaction.

"i already mastered all the things that my teacher taught me about the throne and everything! and that's also a chance that the castina empire and obelian empire would come to peace in the future! i want to make alliances with them." she said as claude sighed.

"you are stubborn like your mother." he said as he stood up and left the room. nas looked at him betrayed then also left the room to go to the sapphire palace. athy looked at the door where the two left as she sighed.

"that was intense— i never imagined that dad and sister would ever fight." she said as she tried calming down after the intense fight.

after their fight yesterday, the two never had a normal conversation ever since. athy just looked at them sadly that they're not having a normal conversation like usual. "dad is so mean!" nas said as she whined in her bedroom.

"you've been outside for 7 years, isn't that enough?" lucas said as he just looked at her. "but— it's a special occasion for val! i do not want to disappoint her at all." she said as her tears were about to fall. lucas panicked then hugged her tightly.

"i'm sure that your father will change his mind tomorrow." he said as he comforted her.

"are you sure?" 

"of course." he said as he was moving some of her hair that was blocking her hair.

"do you think dad hates me?" 

"why would he? " nas looked at him then looked away. "i got so mad at him that i slammed my hands on the table…" she said as she was guilty of what she did.

"i'm sure that he's disappointed, but he doesn't hate you at all. i'm sure of it because your father adores you a lot," lucas said as nas started sobbing. lucas, on the other hand, panicked asking himself if he did anything wrong.

"don't cry! i don't know how to comfort you at all, so please don't cry." nas looked at him again then chuckled. "you're acting a bit different right now, lucas." she said as she wiped her tears.

"what do you mean?" 

"you're so kind right now… mostly when you come here you would always bully me then start eating my food." she said as lucas blushed a bit.

"i do not!" he said as he sat down beside nas.

"but thank you, lucas." 

lucas looked at her confused. "for what?" 

"whenever i feel sad, you will always come here and comfort me even though you don't know how to comfort people at all." she shyly said to the warlock.

"it's just a coincidence don't be full of yourself." he rolled his eyes then nas giggled. 

"whatever you say mr magician." 

"oh shut up already and sleep, it's already night time you also need to talk to your father about you going to the castina empire." he said as he tucks nas in the bed. 

"i'm not a child you know." 

"but for me, you still act like a child." antanasia pouted as lucas just laughed at her.

'cute…' he thought as he smiled a little.

"what are you smiling about?" 

"i'm not smiling, just go to sleep."

"but i just saw you smile!" 

"it's dark in here, you're just seeing things." 

"but i just did!!"

CLAUDE AND NAS just looked at each other as athy was just minding her own business. the two are unable to talk to each other so athy helped them as she already had enough.

"please talk to each other dad. i hate it when the atmosphere is always like this." athy said as she left the room then sighed.

'finally, i left that uncomfortable room!' she thought as there were imaginary tears leaving  her eyes.

the two just looked at each other and didn't know what to say. "dad—"

"i'll allow you." he said as nas looked at him shocked. 

"really? you'll finally allow me this time?" she said, trying to see if she heard it right.

"yes but in one condition." 

'of course, there will always be a condition…' she sighed. "yes? what is it?"

"you will have to write a letter to me every week." 

"but dad— i won't be that long though." she said to him,

"i don't care, i just want to know if my daughter is alright. if anything happens to you, a war will be held in that empire." he said as she shivered at what he just said.

"i'm mostly sure that nothing will happen to me there! because i will be staying in the elise manor." she smiled at him trying to reassure him that she'll be fine.

"a. letter. once. a. week."

".... yes dad." she sighed as she is finally happy that she's finally allowed to go to the castina empire.

"when will you leave to go there?" she thought about it then spoke to him. "i'll be needing to talk about this to lady akari and lady valkyria." 

"fair enough. if you still need anything don't hesitate to say it to me." he said as he took a sip of his tea. "i would love to buy some dresses if it's alright dad." she said as claude just nodded.

"i'll have to talk about it to felix." antanasia stood up then hugged him. "you're the best, dad!" she said as she kissed his right cheeks.

"i'm glad that his majesty finally allowed you to come to the castina empire," akari said to her lovely friend.

"i know right? i didn't know that dad would finally allow me to come there in that empire." antanasia said as she finished eating her steak.

"since you'll be going there i have no choice but to also join you." nas looked at her then smiled. "if you do not want to come with me you don't have to force yourself." 

"i insisted. i have to be there to protect you." 

nas looked at her awed. "well aren't you the cutest thing i ever met." she said as she pinched akari's cheek.

"please stop that nas." 

"no, let me adore you for a moment."

"it hurts."

"aw, fine…" nas sighed as she finally let go of akari's cheeks. "say akari…" akari looked at the crown princess who was drinking her water. "hm?" 

"will you marry me?" akari looked at her shock then started coughing. nas looked at her then laughed.

"i was just kidding, no need to overreact." she said as she held her hurting tummy because she was laughing too much.

"please don't say that to me anymore… you almost gave me a heart attack." she sighed.

"but akari is so cute that i want to kiss her cheeks," nas said as akari blushed. 

"nas! please stop." she said as she buried her face in her hands as she was blushing too much.

the crown princess laughed as she teased the blueberry all day.

TODAY IS THE day that antanasia will leave once again to visit the castina empire with akari and royin by her side.

"i can't believe that my sister will leave me alone in the palace again," athy said as she cried a little.

"i'm sorry, athanasia. i would love to let you come but dad won't allow me." she said as the two siblings sighed. 

"be careful on your way okay?" athy said as nas nodded.

"i will." 

claude let them finish before speaking. "remember our promise, antanasia." she looked at him then smiled.

"of course dad, how could i forget? it is our promise after all." she said as claude nodded. "if anyone threatens you make sure to kill them." 

"i would love to try that." she smiled as claude looked at her amused. while the others just smiled at them nervously. "i think it's about time that we leave. we don't want to make the others wait." nas said as the others agreed.

"then you should go now," claude said.

"yes, we should get going now," nas said as she bid her farewell to her family.

"the carriage is too big and elegant…" royin said as he is uncomfortable about it.

"please get used to it," akari said as she sighed. 

the coachman knocked at the door saying that they're about to leave the two nodded waiting for nas to come inside.

after a while, nas finally came inside the carriage as they were finally going to the castina empire. "that was exhausting… i feel like i'm forgetting something…" nas said as she rubbed her forehead.

"did you forget anything important to you?" akari asked as nas shook her head.

"not really… i feel like i need to warn someone in the palace." she said as she started thinking about it.

"maybe you wanted to warn your sister or father about something?" royin said as nas just looked at him.

"i'm not sure... but whatever it is, i do hope it's nothing that important." she mumbles as she looks out the window as what she didn't know that she would regret leaving the palace.
