IN THE PALACE where the queen resides as two people are standing in the luxurious crib looking at the infant who's sleeping as the maids are bowing their heads unable to look at the person without being scared to look at him. the emperor looked at the newborn baby with an unreadable face as the other person beside him looked at the baby with a smile.

a chill ran down the maid's neck when they suddenly heard a cold and deep voice. "so... this is my child?" the emperor asked the poor maid who was shaking in fear beside him.

"yes, your majesty." the maid named Amana said as she is still bowing and shaking in fear.

"Did the queen even name that thing?" he asked again as he still didn't look away from the baby as Amana spoke again to the emperor. "her majesty named the newborn child Antanasia in her last breath, your majesty."

a heavy silence hung in the air until the emperor finally spoke again. "Antanasia De Alger Obelia, to think she name her child immortal without my permission," he said as the infant opened her eyes and look at her father as he saw her smiling at him.

"take her to the emerald palace from now on she will be treated as a princess, buy all the things a baby would need and you." he looks at Amana and spoke again. "you will be the one who's in charge of that palace and will make sure that this thing will be in no harm or else I'll make sure to kill everyone in that palace once I heard that the princess is hurt and unwell."  the maid was surprised but she nodded in response.

the emperor finally left the room as the only ones who were left inside the room are the maids of the queen, the infant and the imperial knight, Felix.

Felix looked at the baby as he took her in his arms with the permission of the maid. he looked at her with care and love as the infant also looked at him while smiling which made him smile too. "I'll make sure that his majesty will love and cherish her highness and make sure that you'll have a wonderful childhood in the palace with his majesty by your side," he said as he hug her gently.

it's been a year since the princess has been residing in the emerald palace and right now she's outside sitting in the grass while playing with some flowers that she picked a while ago while she was walking around the imperial garden. being in the emerald palace is starting to get boring for the one-year-old as all she does is sleep, eat, play and then sleep again. right now, she's still thinking about how is she alive when she died by jumping on the roof to end her miserable life? all that was cut off when someone called her.

"your highness?" the princess looked at the person who called her as she saw her favourite nanny. "Amana!" she immediately stands up and runs towards her nanny to hug her. Amana was the only one she trust in the palace as she was the only one who raised her and takes care of her when she was a baby.

"you had me worried your highness as you're not in the emerald palace at all," Amana said as the little girl just smiled at her nanny while sweat was starting to form on her forehead. "Nas is sowwy for worrying nanny because I just got bored staying inside the palace so I just run into the garden and play with some flowers!" she said as she showed Amana the flower crown that she made a while ago.

Amana smiled at the princess as she patted the princess' head. "that's a beautiful flower crown that you have, your highness!" she compliment the princess as the little girl looked at her while smiling. "Nas made this just for you!" she said while handing the flower crown to her nanny.

"thank you, your highness! I'll make sure to treasure the flower crown that you made for me." Amana said as she hugs the little girl. all their happy moments were cut off when they heard a cold and deep voice. "what are two pests doing in the imperial garden?" nas looked at her nanny who was trembling in fear of the person who was standing behind her. she struggled to look behind her to know the cause of her nanny from trembling this bad but her nanny was hugging her tightly to make sure that she won't look at all.

"your majesty! we're very sorry for coming in here without your authorization." Amana said as she went to her knees and her head on the floor to apologise. nas finally looked behind her to see two tall men as she looked at the red hair person first before the other guy who has blond hair. she know who they are because after all, she was inside the manhwa she always love to read after all as the one who's looking at them is Felix Robane who is the imperial knight and Claude De Alger Obelia the emperor of the obelian empire and her biological father who she never met after a year.

"you're pretty." is what she said to his father who just looked at her with cold gazes as the two who were also there looked at her with frightened faces as they were afraid of what will happen to the princess after what she said to the emperor. Claude looked away and then started walking not forgetting to tell Felix to take the girl with them as he wants to have some tea with the guest, Amana and Felix looked at his majesty with happiness. Felix is happy because there's finally a chance that their princess will have some time with her father and Amana is happy because they got spared without any blood happening.

moments later as they entered the room and Claude sat on the couch, leaning against it as the princess was looking at him awed by his face as she thinks that her father looks so pretty.

"I didn't know you couldn't speak," Claude said and Nas looked at him startled as she immediately spoke because she doesn't want her father to get boring with her. "Nas can speak!" she said as she gave him a beautiful smile.

"finally, I get to hear your voice. Why did you stay silent until now?" he said as he finally looked satisfied with her talking.

she just kept smiling at him and then spoke. "you look so pretty and nas doesn't know what to say!" the emperor just hummed in response before he said to her nanny and Felix to leave them alone which made her nanny looked at nas scared of what will happen if they leave them alone but they eventually leave the two alone the room.

the room was awfully quiet as no one was talking at all so Nas did was just look around the room and at the sweets that is in front of her. she had been looking at the sweets when they arrived a while ago but has no idea how to get it when her father was just literally in front of her too.

Claude noticed that the girl kept looking at the sweets as he finally spoke. "why are you just sitting there? go ahead and eat as the food won't go away with you just staring at it."

she blushed slightly before she stand up and get the cake that she wanted to get a while ago. "thank you for the food!" Antanasia said quickly, before eating a piece of cake with a smile she enjoys eating her cake as she didn't notice her father was looking at her.

"who taught you manners?" Claude asked. now leaning forward and tapping the table. the girl stopped eating as she replied to her father. "Amana taught me! she's very nice to me!" after answering her father she decided to eat her cake again. the two likes each other presence as it's not that suffocating and awkward at all even though no one was talking at all or more like the emperor was the one who will break the silence and will ask things to the girl as she will reply back and then she will continue to eat her sweets again.

though she suddenly dropped her fork when she heard her father ask something to her. "as you stand there, are you aware of who I am?" he asked as he started to tap the table while waiting for her answer. she took her fork again and looked at the emperor while smiling.

"you're my daddy!" Antanasia smiled brightly as the emperor froze and look to the girl who's still smiling at him.
