today was the "bring your kids at work" day and since it was school break time for me , my dad decided to take me with him for this day .

« Farah , wake up ! today we're going to work together! » he said .

« i'll be in the kitchen in five minutes! » i say before he nodded and left my room .

i began scrolling on instagram when i saw a post about how the Ronaldos are in Paris and that Georgina is rumoured to walk on the VETEMENTS.

obviously i was thrilled because i always thought she looks amazing and i often took inspiration from her when it came to glams .

anyways i got off of my phone and splashed some water in my face before going to the kitchen .

"morning dad !" i say .

"morning farah" he say .

"i'm excited to see how it's gonna be !" i said .

"trust me you'll like it darling !" he said .

"i hope so ! where is mom ?" i ask.

"she's on a day off so she's still asleep!" he answers.

"oh okay ! i'm going to change what should i wear ?" i ask him.

"wear something elegant and please don't wear no snickers!" he said practically begging .

"okay okay i'll wear a black set with low heels !" i say rushing to my room.

"good!" he said a bit loud so i could hear.

after about 10 minutes i showed him my outfit and once he approved i started my glam consisting of a glowy face alongside an upper pink blush , neutral eyeshadow , foxy mascara and lined lips with the chocolate fenty gloss.

for the occasion , i even straightened my hair that was originally wavy / curly .

i packed a large tote bag from Marc Jacobs. inside i put , my touch-up makeup pouch as well as my emergency one , my wallet , my power bank as well as my charger, AirPods, chewing gums, a bottle of water , a tiny perfume and mist , a hair tie , paper tissues as well as my keys and phone .

i brushed my teeth before finishing my lip makeup .

i hurriedly put my jacket on , took my bag and headed to the living room where my dad was waiting for me .

"you ready to go ?" he asked me.

once i said i was , he stood up and we went outside in his car where i sat in the passenger seat .

"farah you know you can look at your phone the ride is about 1 hour and a half without traffic but now there is gonna be some !" he warned .

"okay!" i said before taking out my phone and AirPods.

i was going to unlock my phone when a notification from 'the girlz 🩵' popped up.

"the girls are saying that i will meet someone famous that's why i'm laughing. so hard right now !" i say to my dad while he's still focused on the road .

"they're funny , you know i really like them !" my dad said .

"yeah really they're the best !" i say in response.

since i live in france and it's september the weather is already so cold so that saddens me a bit but i keep going trying to romanticise cold days .

after about 30 minutes in addition of the past ones we finally arrived at the Gucci store .

my dad parked the car and we went inside where we were welcomed by his boss .

oh and , did i tell you he was a security guard ?!

"hello mimouni's" the boss said .

"hello cyril , this is my daughter Farah" my dad said pointing to me .

"hello my name is farah , nice to meet you" i say offering for a handshake.

"i'm cyril delaunay nice to meet you i'm the Gucci store manager!" he said accepting the handshake.

my dad had to go check up something with his colleagues so he left me with mr delaunay , he explained me everything i need to know about the store , he gave me an instrument that resembles a phone to check the stock on certain articles .

then , once everyone arrived and the store opened in 15 minutes, i was called for a quick team meeting .

this meeting was just to organise everyone's position until mr delaunay said something .

"um we're actually going to have an issue today ! all the sellers that speak english are on leave , so unless someone else can we're in trouble !" he said .

"um i master english pretty well , so i think i can do it" i said shyly .

"yes she speaks very good english so she taught me some so i can greet the clients and guide them towards the sellers" my dad added.

"okay thank you so much , we'll do that" he said .

we also talked about some other necessary stuff before he told me my spot .

luckily i have a great memory so i got along with it pretty well.

once we were to our spot mr delaunay finally opened the store . it was 8:30 am.

"hello , welcome !" i said to a customer that turned out to be italian .

"italiano?"he asked so i figured out that he didn't know much english .

"sì certo!" i said to which his face lit up.

"avete qualche borse ?" he asked in italian.

"abbiamo un sacco di da proporvi !"
(we have a lot to suggest you!) i said instructing him to follow me to which he did .

"volete una borsa da donna o una borsa da uomo?" i asked him.
(do you want a woman bag or a man bag ?)

"voglio una borsa per la mia moglie perché è nostro anniversario di matrimonio" he said happily .
(i want a bag for my wife because it's our marriage anniversary)

"ah ché carino !" i said .
(ah that's cute !)

i then proceeded to show him several bags while he told me which style he was looking for until we finally found the one .

before he went to pay he told me a last : "grazie mille" (thank you so much)

the day went smoothly until it was about 4 pm.

i heard someone step in and when i turned my head ...
