Rylee Fitzherbert would be the first to admit that her life changed for the better in the five months since the coronation of King Ben. She never thought accepting the position as Ben's royal advisor would make her this happy. One of the best parts was the people coming to her and Morgan for advice instead of looking down on them for their differences. But her favorite part was watching how well Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos adapted to their new lives.

Everything was finally looking up.

It wasn't long before Ben came to Rylee and Morgan with an idea. To the three of them, it was brilliant. But to everyone else, it seemed crazy. The King of Auradon was thinking about bringing more kids over from the Isle and he wanted to send his advisors to look for them. But before their friends had a chance to persuade Ben to figure out another way to decide, Rylee and Morgan had already agreed without a second thought.

They were ready for a new adventure.

After getting advice from Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos on surviving on the Isle, the princesses were ready to go. They were surprised by what they found waiting for them on the dark island, which made them more determined to make a difference.

But they didn't expect a trio of pirates to get in their way.
