Branches fly out in all directions, the majority of them aiming for the three as they run across the moving branches that bent and turned at seemingly random.

Y/N yelps as she almost trips, but quickly catches herself as she jumps onto another branch.

The branches only seem to get higher and higher, morphing and blending into eachother as the three soon reunite again.

"What a wide range of attack!" Itadori exclaims, looking down at the ground with wide eyes, them being multiple feet in the air.

"Don't falter! That range means its force and speed are weaker!" Todo reasons.

"High..." Y/N mumbles, looking down at the ground dizzily.

Suddenly the three turn around as arrow-shaped branches get shot at them, dodging the attacks as the rush towards the curse.

Y/N extends her hand, summoning three lances as they fly towards the curse, one of them missing him as the other two cut into his torso.

Before the curse has time to recover, the two students simultaneously punch him, knocking him back as he falls near the edge of the branches they were standing on, nearly getting pushed off.

"Todo!" Itadori calls, running towards the curse, "Let's match our timing better!"

"Yeah!" Todo agrees, the two running towards the curse.

Before either of them had time to react, all the branches disappear save for a ball that the curse stood on and a couple that were wrapped around Y/N, restraining her from altering her or the other's gravity.

Y/N grunts, trying to move her hand that were restrained tightly against her side as the lances fall to the ground inactively, disappearing once they hit the ground.

Shit! Y/N struggles more against the bindings, only for them to tighten in a painful way as she inhaled sharply.

I messed up! Todo realizes, looking at the nearing ground, I thought it was passing cursed energy through real objects to manipulate that much mass! But it's all the embodiment— the manifestation of its cursed energy! That's a Special-Grade for you!

"Learn how great the land is!" The curse exclaims, staring down at the two falling students who glare up at the curse looming over them.

The ball of branches expands down towards them, aiming for their falling figures.

Attacking while we fall? That's brutal! Despite the circumstances, Todo grins widely. However...

"Brother!" The two call out simultaneously, turning towards each other as they raises their legs, the soles of their feet pressing against eachother before they push, the two being shot in different directions.

"Brother...? Wha..." Y/N mumbles helplessly, completely confused by whatever's going on between them.

The curse glances at Y/N momentarily, clearly not expecting her to talk before looking down again. They dodged that? But what—

"—Are you just gonna leave me here?" Y/N asks abruptly, turning towards the curse genuinely curious, vaguely noting how the branches had loosened.

Not that she could escape from them, no, they were still secure and she doubts she would be able to move her hands to summon any weapons. However, they weren't squeezing the oxygen out of her anymore so she took that as a good sign.

The curse doesn't reply, the only acknowledgment she gets is the branches disappearing from around her—

Wait. Disappearing?

Y/N yelps as she plummets towards the ground, altering her gravity the second before she hits the ground, a few leaves and twigs in her hair from the trees she had fallen through.

Well... Y/N starts with an uncertain sweatdrop, At least she's not tied up anymore.

"Y/N!" A familiar voice calls as Y/N looks over to see Itadori, who was partially in a bush, dragging himself out of the foliage.

"Itadori." Y/N greets back with a surprised but not unwelcome smile.

Y/N vaguely notes Todo standing nearby her but ignores him other than a small glance, opting to turn towards where the end of the forest was, the murky brown sky casting a glow on the grass that was otherwise blocked by the tree's.

The curse lands, a beat of silence passing before Itadori runs forward, exchanging blows with the Special-Grade curse.

Itadori ducks, dodging a well-aimed punch as he swings his leg up to kick the curse in the side. It just expended to much cursed energy!

Now's our chance to strike! Todo jumps out from behind the curse, aiming a kick at him only for the curse to raise his arm, blocking it effortlessly.

Y/N waves her hand, six lances appearing as they shoot towards the curse, three managing to hit him (albeit not in lethal spots) as the other miss, embedding themselves into the ground before disappearing.

The three jump back, landing near eachother as they prepare to either dodge of block the next attack when—

Flowers...? Oh, wow, they're pret— Y/N hits herself across the face harshly, snapping herself out of the trance-like state.

Unfortunately that didn't seem to matter much as root explode from the ground, knocking the three away.

"You okay, brother, Y/N?!" Todo asks the two standing next to him.

"I'm uh- fine." Y/N replies; still finding it odd that Todo was using her first name.

"No problemo!" Itadori replies easily.

"Then it's time to unleash my technique!" Todo declares, hands clenching into fists as his veins bulge against his skin.

"Huh?" Itadori looks at Todo surprised, "Didn't you use it before?"

"I have no time to explain my technique! So there's only one thing I can say to you." Todo looks down at Itadori, eyes dead serious. "Don't stop! Believe in me!"

"Okay! That's two, though!" Itadori's lips twitch up into a bright grin, giving Todo a thumbs up.

Should I just... Y/N vaguely considers using Domain Expansion but quickly brushes off the idea, trusting Todo and knowing that she'd likely pass out after (or potentially while) using it.

Todo runs forward, prompting the other two to follow behind him.

Before they made it even halfway across the space between them and the curse, a branch wrapped itself around Todo's ankle, yanking him back before spinning him around, eventually letting him go to let him get thrown back across the field.

Todo flies towards a group of branches that were sticking out of the ground like spikes, creating what was essentially a death trap.

...Maybe I should use Domain Expansion. Y/N realizes, but before she could even put her hands together, the other curse had ambushed her along with Itadori, the two narrowly dodging.

"That's one's down." The curse says, but before anything else happened it... disappeared?

No— Y/N looks over, eyes widening to see the curse was impaled on the spikes instead of Todo. —He... swapped placed?

"Oh, Todo!" Itadori realizes, turning to see the taller boy standing next to them with his arms crossed.

"I see. It's simple," The curse walks off the spikes, holes still in his chest from where he was once impaled. "and therefore a troublesome technique."

"Yeah." Todo confirms with a wild grin, getting back into a fighting position, "My technique swaps my position with my opponent's. Boogie woogie!"

Y/N raises an eyebrow, turning towards him knowing it'll only be an annoyance to their opponent if they gets used to it, "Todo—"

"Shh! We'll end this before it can get used to it!" Todo winks, putting a finger over his lips.

"...If you say so.." Y/N agrees reluctantly.

The two students run forward towards the curse, Todo clapping his hands as their positions switch constantly, leaving no room for the curse to understand who will attack where.

Y/N stays behind, summoning lances that nearly always hit their target now due to his state of confusion.

The two attack nonstop, relentless as the curse gets blow after blow dealt to him, getting knocked back and forth like a rag doll.

Todo jumps up, reeling his leg back before kicking the curse in the face, causing it to get knocked to the side by the force of it.

Todo claps his hand, position swapping with Itadori as the vessel punches the curse's chin, causing his head to shoot straight up, purple blood escaping through it's teeth.

Itadori kicks the curse's knee, causing his balance to sway as Itadori reels his fist back, teal cursed energy flashing black as his punches the curse in the chest. Black Flash!

Itadori jumps up, kicking the curse in the neck as the curse nearly falls, Itadori's cursed energy flashing black again. Black Flash!

Itadori lands on the ground but immediately aims another punch to the curse, Black Flash!

Three times?! Y/N's lips part in surprise but quickly recovers, summoning more lances as one nearly hits the curse in the face.

In the corner of his eye, the curse see's Todo start to clap, resulting in him turning around with the assumption the two were going to switch.

After a moment of them staying in their places, the curse realizes, They didn't swap?!

"Clapping my hands doesn't necessarily mean I'm activating my technique!" Todo explains to the curse mirthfully, "It's simple, but it's easy to fall for!"

Just as Todo finishes explaining, Itadori's fist collided with the curse's stomach, Black Flash!

The curse jumps back, summoning balls of branches with spikes as they fly towards the two.

The two students dodge the attack from the spikes before destroying them effortlessly, quickly turning their attention back to the cursed spirit that had aimed another attack at them.

Just as Todo's about to punch the curse, a large branch shoots out from the ground, lifting the curse decently high up but not too much.

Todo claps his hands, swapping places with the curse as Itadori immediately turns and swings a punch at the curse.

Itadori's fist to the curse's face was met with one in return as purple and red blood spray simultaneously.

Itadori let's out a grunt of pain, glaring at the curse, It's attacking before each swap! It's getting used to Todo's technique!

But that Black Flash hurt it. Todo recognizes with a wide grin. We can exorcise it!
