Saturday, 1st of February, 02:47 PM. Class 1-A Dormitory Common Area.
The common area was pretty busy, practically his whole class was there, minus Katsuki, with everyone chatting or cleaning up lunch, talking about their productive day so far.
And then there was Mikumo, who had just woken up.
However, even when extremely tired, sleep deprived, and a little delirious, he was still ready to put his plan into action!
"Hey, Mikubabe!"
Ew. People.
Mikumo cringed at the thought of interacting with quite frankly any living organism before downing his daily mug of morning coffee, walking over to the kitchen and ignoring the incessant waving of the pink girl with yellow horns. Maybe after his coffee he could shoot her a glare!
Ah, yes, his daily dose of humans-outside-of-his-friend-group interaction. He was doing so well with all of that 'coming out of his shell' nonsense that Katsuki and his therapist had been encouraging him to do!
However, just as he was about to pour the pre-made coffee in the pot (prepared about ten minutes ago beforehand by a certain blonde who knew what time he would roughly wake up) into his mug, he remembered that he probably needed to do more than just one interaction today.
He sighed to himself. Ew.
But he had to remain strong! For Katsuki! For Katsuki!
Mikumo inhaled deeply, glancing at the coffee pot, the mug, and then the coffee pot again, before downing it completely, a little bit of the bitter drink dripping down his lip as he slammed the now empty jug onto the counter.
Wiping his mouth with the back of his hand, he straightened up his posture, and reluctantly dragged his feet over to the others in the lounge area.
And just to Mikumo's luck, the two people who he didn't mind being around weren't there. (Sorry, Todoroki.)
"Sup, bro!"
"Uhm... hello."
Nailed that greeting!
"Classmates, and-" Mikumo cut himself off abruptly, noticing the unusual face. "Hitoshi Shinso?"
"In the flesh." He replied with an amused smirk.
Kaminari chuckled. "Yeah, after the sports festival and stuff, Hitoshi has been getting training from a third-year teacher, Mr Aizawa, a friend of Miss Kayama's, or something, so now he's just been hanging around here." He chimed in.
Mikumo shrugged it off. "Anyways, I..."
He looked around at the eyes that stared deep into his soul, full of expectancy and curiosity.
Nope!
"I hate all of you."
Mikumo sprinted out of there as fast as humanly possible.
He figured that the first step to making Katsuki's Valentine's Day the best one he'd ever had, begging his classmates for help, was doomed from the beginning.
