Everyone was emptying the auditorium. The Dunns and The Campbells eventually made it out of the crowd. They were standing in the "lobby".

"I have to go get Harper, I'll be back," Jess said to the group as she walked away

"Do you still want to dance? Topher asked Zoey.

"I mean yeah, I guess," Zoey said

"You do realize how long dance classes are, right?" Wyatt asked his sister.

"They're only like 45 minutes" Topher pointed out

"Do you know all the things you could be doing in 45 minutes?" Wyatt said to Topher

"No way there 45 minutes, Harper's at dance longer than that," Zoey said

"That's just cuz' she takes more than 1 class" Griffin butted in

"How do you know?" Zoey asked

"Isn't it obvious? She's like trained in every style of dance" Griffin said

"You like that about her? Wyatt asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Huh," Griffin said, he could feel his cheeks getting hot

"Oh drop the act, we all know you're all flushed because your girlfriend's a dancing sensation," Zoey said

"She's not my girlfriend" Griffin mumbled

"Ok," Wyatt said with a wink.

Griffin rolled his eyes.

Sulphur Springs Dance Studio had won Nationals once again. They were overly joyed as the Team walked back to their dressing room. Harper is still admiring her trophy. They made it to their dressing room, only to see their parents waiting for them.

Once they opened the door, the team and the parents all cheered again

Everyone ran over to their parents to hug them.

Harper slowly walked over to her mom, not trying to put too much weight on her ankle. Once Harper made it to her Mom, she hugged her tightly.

"You won, Babe," Jess said as they hugged

After a while, they pulled away.

"Mom, look," Harper said, pointing to the base of the large trophy.

"Wow" Jess breathed out as she saw "Miss Up Stage 2020, Harper M. Dunn" on it

"Guys, come here real quick" Coach Lotus said to all the dancers.

Jess kissed Harper's cheek before she slowly walked off over to him

All the competitive team stood in a circle listening to what their coach was going to say

"I'm impressed" Coach Lotus started

"There's so much talent in this room right now, I can barely even process"

" I mean, we had 2 winning numbers today, despite an injury," Coach said

"And Harper, you even got crowned Miss Up Stage," Coach Lotus said to Harper as she smiled

"Alright, everybody hands in," Coach said, putting his hand in the middle. The team followed

"Harper?" Coach said

Harper nodded

"1-2-3"

"WE OUR SULPHUR SPRINGS" the team chanted departing their hands to the air.

The Sulphur Springs Competitive Team gathered all their things in the dressing room. It was hard to dance on stage, but It seemed even harder to say goodbye to such a (comfortable) chaotic day.

Eventually, The dance team got their things together and was exiting the dressing room, Till next time.

"Bye Coach!," Harper said before she and her team walked out the door

"Bye you guys, see you on Monday!" Coach Lotus said still far in the dressing room

The Competitive team walked out of the door. The parents were rolling the luggage, Harpers mom was holding her (huge) trophy, while the kids were wearing their team uniforms and their team backpacks. God, they looked so put together.

They walked down the hallway to the "lobby"

The first person Harper saw was Griffin

A large smile spread across her face

Same with Griffin

She wasted no time in slowly walking over to him leaving her team

Griffin ran to her

They collided in a big hug

Harper wrapped her legs around his waist, and her arms around his neck

Griffin spun around

It was almost like the whole room pulled out their phone to record it . It was so cute

"I knew you would win," Griffin said as they hugged

"You did, didn't you?" Harper said as Griffin set her down, and they pulled away

Zoey, Wyatt, and Topher walked up to them

"You did a nice job, sis," Topher said fist-bumping his sister

"Thanks," Harper said fist bumping him back

"God, you did so well," Zoey said as she hugged Harper

"Yeah like really really really well," Wyatt said joining in on the hug

Just then Matt ran over to Harper. dramatically out of breath. 

"Hey Harppie, I just wanted to-"

"Wait... Your Griffin right" Matt said putting a hand on Harper's shoulder

"Yeah," Griffin said confused

"Ok, because Harp- Oh, I see we got the whole gang," Matt said looking around at the kids

"TOPHER, god I haven't seen you in forever," Matt said

"You saw me yesterday, Matt," Topher said with a chuckle

"Wait, you know him?" Griffin asked Topher

"Duh, I mean I'm a celebrity," Matt said flicking his curly hair

"This is Matt, My best friend," Harper said

Griffin raised an eyebrow

"My dance best friend" Harper corrected

Griffin sighed in relief

"So, I heard you guys were dating," Matt said to both Harper and Griffin

Harper rolled her eyes, grabbed Griffin's arm, and walked away

"Wait you ship Harffin too?" Zoey asked as she and her brother came over to Matt

"Yeah bae, who doesn't?" Matt said

"Your Matt right?" Wyatt asked just to be sure

"Yeah, and your Wyatt, and Zoey?" Matt asked

Zoey nodded for the both of them

Zoey took a second to admire who she was looking at. Matt Caba. Zoey would always overhear Harper face-timing him when she was at there house, or times Harper would laugh at random, Zoey would ask her what was funny and Harper would simply answer with "Matt"

Zoey looked at Matt's sparkly Sulpher Springs Competitive Team Jacket, his team backpack, with loads of names signed on it. What caught Zoey's eye was Matt's nails. They had been painted a shiny black, with tiny white stars

Matt followed the direction of Zoey's eyes and smiled when he realized what it was

"You like them, ZoZo?" Matt asked using a nickname

"I love them," Zoey said as she smiled

"Whoa, you seem really cool," Wyatt said joining the conversation

"For real," Zoey stated eyeing Matt up and down once again

"you know, my sister was thinking about dancing?" Wyatt said

"Like competitive dance?" Matt asked Zoey

"Yeah, do you think I would make the team," Zoey asked

"oh I swear to god you would make the team, sis," Matt said

Zoey smiled

"I mean just look at you, you're the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen," Matt said

Zoey grinned again

"Can I get your number?" Zoey said pulling out her phone

"Yeah, sure"

"Ok, my number is 3518- wait I don't know the rest," Matt said pulling out his phone

The twins both laughed
