Flashback, year 2014

Ever since Mina was announced as the team leader of their class, Y/n is still bitter about it until the school year has ended. They're at Chaeyoung's family's lake house. The lake house has a mini arcade that the girls loves

"You're such a loser, Im Nayeon" Y/n smugly said after getting the highest score in Basketball machine

"You have an advantage, you're tall and more athletic than me!" Nageon said

"Just admit it, you simply can't defeat the best of all.. me" Y/n smiled

"But the question is.. can you beat Mina? You can't!" Nayeon laughs, Y/n rolled her eyes

Y/n glanced at Mina who's reading as usual

"If you're the best player in a video game then Mina is the big boss!" Nayeon said

"Nonsense" Y/n scoffs

"Just admit that you still haven't moved on after not being picked!"

"I have moved on ages ago so you gotta let go too!" Y/n said as she look at Mina

"Oh my god, you're such a lovely person, Mina-ssi" Y/n mocked their teacher's tone, Mina ignored Y/n

"As if she has any lovely thing about herself" Y/n said

"Do any of you class have any questions?" The teacher asked

"Yes, ma'am" Y/n stood up

"What is it, Y/n-ssi?" She asked

"Why didn't I get a perfect score when our test was essay form? There's no multiple choice or identification for you to mark me wrong, I won't accept that I have two points mistakes" Y/n confidently said

"It's not that you're wrong-"

"So you admit it? You're being biased?"

"That's not what I meant, Y/n-ssi" She calmly said

"But you gave this girl a perfect score when her sentences are freaking close minded when I literally explore the depth of your topic" Y/n pointed out Mina

"Why are you involving me?" annoyed Mina said

"It's because it's unfair that you got the perfect score when you don't deserve it"

"I deserve it!" Mina stood up from her seat and frowns at Y/n

"You don't!"

"I do!"

"In your dreams! You don't deserve it, I do!"

"Girls, enough with that" The teacher went in between them

"I won't until you stop giving this girl a special treatment" Y/n said, their teacher sighs

"Alright, I will read your essay again if that can calm you"

"Thank you" Y/n said and sat down, so is Mina

"What a spoiled brat" Mina said, Y/n rolled her eyes

Year 2018 …

Mina is in the school lobby reading her usual favorite Doctor strange comic book. A freshman high school student is sitting across from her

"Oh? That's Doctor strange!" He said after seeing the book cover

"You know him?" Mina asked, He nodded

"He does cool magic with his ring!" He said

"That's not just how it works but you're close.." Mina said

"You're unfamiliar, are you not a high school student?" He asked, Mina shook her head

"I'm in seventh grade"

"Mmh.. cool, just a few years until you become high school. I'm Sehun"

"Mina"

"What's with you today, Minari? You were not interested in sports but you want to watch the basketball match?" Sana asked

'From what I heard, the guy named Sehun is a basketball player' Mina thought

"I just wanna feel how Y/n find it enjoying watching boys fight over a ball"

"She find it enjoying because she likes cheering people" Momo chuckles

A little later …

The basketball match just finished and Mina kept her eyes on the varsity player, Oh Sehun. For the years of reading comics, none of the people around her know about what she's reading but he does

"Guys, look. The guy with the 'Oh' name approached Y/n!" Momo whispers

"Is she dating him? Lucky her, she's dating a high schooler! So cool!" Sana said

"They're not dating but my dad told me that their parents are really close to each other and their parents are planning on making them get married soon" Tzuyu said

"Why Y/n? He's too good for Y/n" Mina said

"You're speaking as if you personally know him" Sana chuckles

Meanwhile …

"Not so bad, Oh Sehun!" Y/n gave him a thumbs up

"I can't believe my number one supporter came to watch"

"Don't assume again, boy. I just keep on supporting you because I know you'll win but if you lose, expect me to switch teams" Y/n jokes

"I know because you love winning" Sehun laughs

"Don't worry, I'll make sure to win every game if that means I could always see you" Sehun said

"People are thinking that you and Sehun-oppa are a thing. Are you two really?" Jihyo curiously asked

"He's not my type" Y/n said

"Then what's your type?" Chaeyoung asked

"Girls" Nayeon blurted out

"What are you saying?" Jeongyeon laughs

"I looked into Y/n's phone and she took the 'Am I gay quiz?'!"

"What? You did? Oh my.." Dahyun gasped

"I didn't!" Y/n denies

"The closet is crystal clear, Park Y/n" Nayeon said

It's New year's eve and the ten girls have celebrated it at Korea's palace. Since Y/n's father won't be home for the holiday, that's when Y/n have decided to plan on having a week sleepover with her friends

It's past midnight and the girls have just watched all of the fireworks, they're now asleep but Y/n who's looking at the sky, she looks at Mina who's reading. She approached her

"I heard you like Sehun" Y/n said

"But you're too inexperienced for him" Y/n added that made Mina look at her

"What now?"

"You see.. you know nothing about relationships"

"And you do?" Mina rolled her eyes

"A lot, I'm quite of an expert" Y/n nods

"How could you be an expert when you yourself haven't been into a relationship as well"

"Yah I could prove it to you! And I just got the most brilliant idea ever! As I'm an expert in that field, Let me tell you that.. I'm a good k-kisser!" Y/n confidently said

"Hilarious" Mina sarcastically said

"I'm telling the truth, if you don't believe it then practice on how to kiss properly with me. I'll teach you" Y/n said

She immediately regretted the words she just have said, Y/n didn't think much of it and just said what she felt like saying

While Mina was surprised that Y/n suddenly suggested it

"How would that work? We're both girls, father said that can't happen" Mina said

"It wouldn't hurt to go against your dad once, you know? You're too much of a good daughter, that's why you're boring" Y/n rolled her eyes

"Hey, take that back. I'm not boring" Mina glares

"Then prove it to me" Y/n said

"But this is wrong.."

"It's time for you to stop following dead people's rules, Mina and start making decisions by yourself. How could you call yourself a princess if you're so indecisive?"

"Those people who said a girl to girl is wrong are now dead, what can they do? Rise from the dead and scold us? They can't do anything-" Y/n wasn't able to finish her sentence when Mina crashed her lips onto Y/n

They didn't expect to have both of each other as their first kiss. But the door was opened

"What is the meaning of this?!" Siwon asked, The two immediately pulled away

"You're disgusting" Mina pushed her away

"U-uncle"

"Come out of your room" Siwon said, Y/n comes out of the room and faced him

"What did you just do?" Siwon furiously asked

"I was.. just-" He slapped Y/n that caught her by surprise as she was never hit by anyone before

"What you did was wrong, have you lost your mind? What would everyone think once they found out about it? What would your dad think about it? He'll be disappointed and disown you, remember that you had been pain in the ass since then"

"Please, don't tell dad, uncle" she desperately said

"I'm sorry, it won't happen again. Please, uncle, I'm begging you don't tell dad" Y/n kneels

While Y/n cries, he secretly smiled knowing he now have something against Y/n

"If I get to see you on good terms with Mina again then I'll know that you two are secretly kissing each other again, understand?"

"Yes, uncle" Y/n nods

Next day …

Siwon was in perfect time when Mina was the only one inside the room

"Kids are adventurous and are really curious about everything, Don't y'all?" He asked, Mina didn't answered him

"But don't worry, I'll keep it a secret…"

"You will?"

"I will but on one condition"

"Do everything to beat Y/n at everything, it doesn't matter where as long as you're above her. That's what she should get for dragging you into this horrible idea of kissing each other. Am I right?"

Every Time they'll meet, it'll always be an awkward encounter and Mina wants it to end and they should just go back from the way they were

"What we did was wrong and we should forget about it forever" Mina said

"I don't know what got into you after thinking about that but it was a big mistake and you shouldn't have thought of that at all. You should never tell anyone about it, not even our friends and it should be forever buried. Do you get it?" Mina asked

"Yes.."

"Pinky swear me" Mina extended her arm to Y/n

"My mouth is zipped"  Y/n said and they made a pinky promise

End of Flashback …

Y/n's POV

As a kid, I was swayed by my uncle scaring me off because I didn't know better. So like a fool, I made myself be controlled by him just because he has this against me

Being the princess with the bad reputation wasn't even what I planned for how my future would be. That was because of my uncle, he wanted me to have a bad image to the public. Like he'd tell me to intentionally be late on an event and I can't oppose it because he'll use me and Mina kissing against me. It was suffocating but I didn't have any choice, I didn't want to disappoint my dad. I don't care if I disappoint the whole world but not my own dad

Not until I turned 16 when I finally realized that it's not even wrong and we were just kids back then, we're full of ideas and apply them out of curiosity. After realizing I didn't do anything wrong, I always let him know that he can't control me anymore. He's not okay with it and I'm well aware about it but so what? Fuck his musty ass

I was so scared before that I thought uncle telling what he saw that night would be the end of me but I thought wrong, it was Mina who's gonna end me. And I never expected my first heartbreak to be this bad, I wouldn't have be more in pain if she hurted just my feelings but she hurted even my dignity and pride and I will never forgive her for that
