❝Since everyone is here, I will start the meeting now.❞ The director told and all the actors and actresses nodded.

❝Alright, as you know Saionji Miyu will be our lead female and the lead male is Asagiri Gen.❞ The director announced and Miyu looked at the man in front of her.

❛Ahh~ he was the lead male.❜ Miyu thought.

Gen saw that the lead actress was looking at him, so he gave her a small smile. As soon as he smile at her, the girl averted her gaze back to the director.

❛So cold...❜ Gen thought facepalm at the girl's attitude.

❝The lead female was a high school cheerleaders and Saionji Miyu was one of the most capable actress to do all the gymnastics action.❞ The director said with a smile and everyone nodded, agreeing with his statement.

❝The lead male was a mentalist and Asagiri Gen fit the role perfectly since he was a mentalist even thought he never act before.❞ The director said making everyone whispering about him.

❝Aren't it dangerous to ask a newbie to be the lead.❞

❝I didn't know that the lead was someone that never acted before.❞

❝If I know, I wouldn't agreed.❞

Miyu look at Gen but he just smile as he look at the script in front of him. She sigh before slamming her hand on the table, catching everyone attention.

❝I don't want to be rude, but if you don't want to act in the drama just go. He didn't do anything yet and you all already throwing shit on him.❞ She said not even looking at any of them as she just scanned over the script.

Silence took over for a while. Gen look at her, his eyes were wide open and a smile crawl on his lips. He knew the girl was trying to defended him.

❛She was a kind girl after all, huh.❜ He thought.

❝Miyu-chan, that was a bit harsh, don't you think? Beside, what they were saying was true. I don't have any experiences in this field.❞ Gen said as he waves both of his hand in front of his face.

Miyu picked up her head and look at him, ❝I don't care if you have experiences or not, as long as you did a good job I'm fine with it.❞

❝Oh....I guess I need to do my best then.❞ Gen said and smile at the girl.

Miyu just shrugged and averted her gaze to look at the other actors and actresses. Even thought she was a young actress, she was well respected in the acting field even by the senior actors and actresses.

They look at her and bow their head, signalling that they still want to be in the drama. Miyu bow her head slightly to them indicate that she understood their intention.

She looked at the director, ❝You can continue now, since nobody is going.❞

❛She really is a well respected actress.❜ Gen thought as he look around and saw that everyone already kept quiet and waiting for the director to speak.

❝If everyone have settled down, I would like to continue this meeting in a comfortable mood.❞ The director said and all of them focus back on him.

Once the meeting ended, Miyu quickly pull out her phone to text her brother that her meeting already done. She put down her phone on the table and collect all her belongings. She put the drama script inside her bag.

A notification popped up on her smartphone, so she quickly unlock it to read the message. When she read the message, a smile crawl on her lips. Her brother was able to get a half day pass from his boss and was waiting for her outside of the building.

She quickly reply to him and stood up from her sitting position.

❝I will be going first.❞ She said catching everyone attention.

❝Be careful, Miyu-san.❞ One of the actor said with a smile.

❝Thank you, you too.❞ She answered while picking up her bag.

❝Good bye Miyu-san. Meet you next month for the drama filming.❞ Another actor said.

❝Goodbye. See you later then.❞ She answered again.

She walk out from the meeting room after saying goodbye to the other actors and actresses. She made her way towards the elevator and when it open she walks in.

When she was about to closed the elevator's door, she saw Gen running towards her. She immediately hold her left leg towards the door preventing it from closing. Gen ran inside the elevator with a heavy breath.

❝Why are you even running? If I didn't saw you, the door might already closed.❞ Miyu said as she text her brother that she will be out in a minute.

❝But...you...did...saw...me...❞ He manage to say between pants.

❝Take your time.❞ She said looking at her phone as Gen slowly try to stabilize his breathing.

The door open when they arrived at the ground floor. Putting her phone inside her pocket, Miyu quickly walk out from the elevator.

❝Miyu-chan!❞ She heard Gen called her so she turned around to look at him

❝What is it, Gen? I'm busy right now.❞ She said while crossing her arms.

❝I just want to say thank you Snow Princess~~❞ He said with a small grins of his.

Miyu just look at him and sigh ❝There is nothing to be thank for.❞

❝You defended me back there, of course I need to say thank.❞ Gen said as he look at the young actress.

❝I didn't do it to defend you. I don't like working with people who doesn't want to take a risk for acting with a newbie. They should at least see you act before throwing those shit on you.❞ She explained with a poker face.

❝Miyu-chan is such a 'Snow Princess', just like what the media told about. You are a kind girl but your words are a bit harsh. Can't you just tell me that you were trying to defend me back there?❞ He said as he bend forward to the younger girl.

❝Gen.❞ She called, locking her gaze to the male's eyes.

❝Yes?❞ He asked, still staring.

❝Shut up.❞ She said and turned around, leaving the mentalist alone at the building hall.

He chuckled at the girl who was walking away from him, ❛You really don't know how to socializing with other people.❜

Miyu walked out from the building, searching for her brother. She was looking around when a hand gently slither its way over her shoulder. She quickly turned around and her emerald eyes met her brother's eyes.

❝Ukyo-nii!❞ She chirped happily and hug his arm.

❝Are you that happy to see me?❞ He asked chuckling a little.

❝Of course!❞ She said as she show him her biggest smile, making the older sibling smile too.

❝Let's go get something to eat.❞ He said and bring his little sister to the car that was parked at the other side of the road.

Once they were inside the car, Ukyo started the engine. He look at his little sister.

❝Should we eat at the usual place?❞ He asked and after getting a nodded from the younger sibling he start to speed up toward their destination.

Once they arrived, the sibling sit on the table at the outside of the restaurant. The waiter came and took their orders.

❝So, when you will start filming?❞ Ukyo asked looking at his little sister.

❝Next month and the director said he want to finish the filming in 3 months.❞ Miyu answered with a smile.

Miyu were talking with her brother about the new drama when the food came. They ate their food and continue their chats.

Once they were done, Ukyo pays the meal and they walked out from the restaurant. The siblings walked around the park and enjoying the lake view.

❝Want some cotton candy?❞ Ukyo asked when he saw a man selling the sweets.

In an instant, a smile plastered on the girl's face. She nodded rapidly and both of them ran to the man who sells the cotton candy.

Ukyo bought the cotton candy for her and also for himself. They sit on one of the bleachers im the park.

Miyu was enjoying the sweetness of the cotton candy when a sudden light came into her view.

❝What is that light?❞ Miyu asked as they looked at the sky.

❝I don't think that was normal...❞ Ukyo said, standing up from his position

❝That's true.....❞ Miyu said and followed her brother to stand, her eyes looking at the green light that appeared on the sky.

❝Miyu..❞ Ukyo look at his sister with a hint of worried and nervousness.

❝Ukyo-nii..❞ Miyu looked back to her brother and soon everything went black for both of them.
