The surprise, to your shock, was a beach party a friend of Jay is throwing in every Friday.

They apparently owned the beach you were taking walks with and the absurdity puts you into an intense shock especially when Jay told you, there would be no going to the dorms tonight.

Of course, it was beautiful in the resort, so you weren't complaining and even the hotel room you will be sharing with your boyfriend is like out of the Hollywood movie where it has a bathtub and the balcony is facing the ocean.

It felt like so much of a holiday that you almost forgot that you were supposed to be helping Mrs. Nam tommorow.

You've been spending the couple of hours now in the shore, working to read a book about the subject you'll be needing to work on in the next semester. At least you can still read despite of the hustle all around you.

Everywhere your eyes landed, there were shirtless boys flaunting their efforts from the gym and they were not appreciating that you fully wore an outfit that shows nothing of the skin. Not that Jay would share the sentiment.

From the moment he changed into a swimming trunks, he'd been trying to convince you to join him in the water. For the last few hours, he'd kept swimming back towards you to try and coax you out of what you were doing.

He'd failed each time.

As for the others like Jake, he could be found now joining the ones grilling beef from a few feet away and Sunghoon is on a floating mattress out in the sea, laying there as he gazed up in the dark sky.

You even spotted Sunoo, Jungwon and Niki joining a truth or dare game from one of the cottages. It seems like only Heeseung is not present here at the moment.

"Y/N!", Jay give another call of your name.

You reacted as you did each time, peering at him from over the top of your book. It was fairly obvious that he was going to try make you join him. But he proved you wrong by hauling himself out of the water to approach you and you can't look away from the dripping water down from his chin down to his bare chest.

Alarmed as you are to realized that spending too much time with them is slowly attracting you to boys, you looked away. Jay dropped down to the chair beside you, starting to dry himself with the towel along his hair.

"Is something wrong?", you asked, brows raised when you noticed the way he was looking at you.

"My girlfriend is insane", he gestured to the book which you'd bookmarked and set aside, "We've got a beach party here and you're going to ignore that to read a book?"

"This is the way I enjoy it", you insisted with a smile.

Jay simply shook his head slowly like he couldn't understand you, but he didn't comment on it again. Instead, he tossed the towel aside and rose to his full height.

Your eyes followed his rise, squinting slightly against the light behind him as you watched him adjust his swimming trunks, so they were tied securely against his waist.

"You left me with no other choice, babe", he warned and before you could ask him what the hell he was going on, he ducked down suddenly.

With one arm down your knees, and the other went around your shoulder, holding you to his chest even as you protested with a shriek. You struggled against him but he lifted you still and you could do nothing more but to scream as he turned towards the inviting waves.

"Don't you dare, Park Jay", you warned slowly.

He simply turned to look at you with an innocent smile, "It would be a shame to waste your time here"

"Jay", you started panickily as he took a slow steps towards the sea and the other boys is starting to cheer him on, "I swear to God, if you do this, I will break up with you tonight"

The threat didn't have the effect you wanted.

"You know, I will never let you go, right?", Jay whispered against your ear, his breath hot in your skin.

And just like that, he was running towards the sea, completely ignoring Jake's warnings for him to stop. You gave up protesting and scrunched your eyes shut as you clung to Jay for life.

He was in for so much trouble after this.

You felt him jump and then the two of you were underwater but only for a second or two. You emerged again and Jay adjusted his hold on you, so his arms were around your waist and holding you up because your feet is not reaching the bottom.

With the rest of the boys from the shore still cheering Jay, you pushed your hair out of the way and met his puppy eyes with a glare.

"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!", they kept on shouting as they slowly turned all the attention in your direction.

You opened your mouth, preparing to give Jay a long rant of the century when he surged forward for a kiss to rid you of the thoughts of breaking up with him tonight. It didn't work almost as well as the scandalized gasps from the junior students.

One of them is Sunoo dragging Niki and Jungwon away from the scene.

When Jay drew away from you with an innocent smile, you glanced curiously to where you'd last seen Jake and he was grumbling to this guy you knew as Taehyun.

One thing you'd realized that dating Jay had made you rather bolder than before, so it really wasn't your fault when you wanted to scandalized the guy further.

You did one quick scope of the waters and spotted Sunghoon is now narrowing his eyes at the back of Jay's head, it's time to make them all jealous, you guess.

You wrapped your arms around Jay's shoulder and drew him back towards you. He, no doubt reading your eyes, came easily back towards you and met you more than halfway as he drew you back for a much deeper kiss.

By the time you drew away, your eyes were met with the sight of Jake walking away from the scene while Sunghoon is paddling back to the shore now.

Both of their faces looked undescribable and you think you knew the reason why.

Absolutely nothing went wrong, the entire beach party ran so smoothly that on your way back to the hotel room, you heard the other boys for their next plans next week. Surely that was more than enough to prepare yourself not to go with anyone else again.

Jay, who walked with your arm linked through his, patted your hand as if to get your attention. You glanced toward him instantly, returning the smile he sent your way.

"Did you hear a word of what I said?", he asker curiously.

"No", you admitted, embarassed, "What were you saying?"

"I was saying that I don't think I'm ready to sleep yet. Do you think you'd be able to keep awake for another hour?", he gave you his most dashing smile, leaning down to press a kiss in your forehead.

"You're just saying that because you know when we get home, we'll be back to me tutoring you", you said knowingly, as you headed for the table of foods now.

"I can pass that, don't worry", Jay grumbled to himself.

"And I keep telling you that you don't even need me", you reminded him, casting a long glance around your surroundings.

You wish you hadn't been so curious. Because across the prepared tables, talking to one of his other friends is Sim Jaeyun. It made sense for him to still be here and awake but still - why did fate hate you so much to make him turned his head in your way?

But first thing first, you needed to make sure that Jay didn't notice something is wrong with you.

Only you weren't clearly doing a good job as you wanted to if the way Jay settled you down in a chair and reached out to take your hand was any indicator. His eyes, earnest and searching stared into your own as he went to take his own seat.

"Jay-ah!", Sunghoon suddenly called out from nowhere.

You raised your eyes past Jay's shoulder towards where Sunghoon is busy bounding towards the two of you. And Jay, realizing that your focus was no longer on him, followed your eyes and then he was on his feet to greet his friend.

The two started talking about skinny dipping, and as their conversation continued on, you realized with a sickly feeling that they were planning to do it with the rest of the boys, making you want to plan an escape.

Surveying the table in front of you, you frowned when you realized there was nothing alcoholic on it to make you sleep and barely concealed a scowl. But it was gone the moment you felt a hand grasped your shoulder.

"Are you alright, babe?", Jay asked. You couldn't help but look past his shoulder to see Sunghoon who had finally smirked.

And you had to give it to him, he was certainly doing a good job at hiding his expression.

"I just need a drink", you managed through parched lips, and Jay nodded instantly before excusing himself to get you one.

Just like that, you were left alone with his friend who was watching you intensively from where he was standing. You could have kept silent, but when it comes to him, you couldn't.

You forced yourself to raise your eyes up to his and spoke slowly, "Is there some dirt on my face?"

"Your whole face is a dirt itself", he murmured to himself, saying it aloud.

"And yet you still like me for some stupid reasons", you said slowly, knowing that your disbelief was evident.

"Tell me, why are you being irresistible from the three of us?", he asked instantly, eyes narrowing slightly.

"Honestly, I have no clue", you shook your head for a moment, "Be honest, am I even pretty for your taste?"

"In case you don't know", Sunghoon murmured, glancing over his shoulder to find Jay was returning to your table with drinks on his hands, "You're prettier than you'd make out yourself to be"

"Don't continue it", you insisted, but he still couldn't stop staring at your face with a handsome smile.

You couldn't seem to tear your eyes away from Jay who, you realized when he drew closer was looking between you and Sunghoon with a knowing eyes.

There was really no need for you to explain, even from his eyes, you could tell that he already knew everything.

Jay is my bias and my favorite out of the three, but sorry, the girl is just playing with your heart.

Who she deserves the most? I think no one.
