Following the events of you being almost raped by your own schoolmates is the rumors to come.
At least in the case of your five classmates, your relationship with them has improved for the better.
There were even an unspoken agreement that anyone is not to talk about the issue, but the other boys from other sections can't keep to themselves either.
It was all really confusing on your part and you wondered whether Mr. Kang just hate you or not for suggesting to remove you from the school instead of expelling the three boys who went after you.
Well, a pity for him, you got the last laugh because Jay, Sunghoon and Jake with Huening Kai being the sons of the benefactors of the school didn't let it happened.
Their parents defended you and the happy ending is seeing the boys who nearly assaulted you packing their bags, and saying goodbye to Bighit Academy forever.
Once everyone had long gone to their dorms and with you arriving from the guidance's counsellor, Heeseung waited for your return with Sunoo.
As soon as they see your classmates with you planning to enter the room, they shooed them away before locking the door on their faces and their reason is, it's honestly touching.
They said this is your time to be with your friends for now.
"It's all fixed now, guys", you stated with a satisfied smile to Sunoo and Heeseung.
The sound of your reassuring voice stopped them from talking to each other. Their heads shot up from checking you if there were any scratches, and they were thundering towards you in an instant, pulling you down to sink with them in the softness of the couch.
Sunoo burrowed his head into your neck, crying out an apology about the issue, "Sorry, it has to happened to you for being a girl"
You had taken to leaning against the couch as your back began to ache from their weights, and both of them removed their heads from both side of your necks just before placing them in your shoulder as if drained of their physical strength.
"I should have helped you too if only I was there", Heeseung said eventually.
"Heeseung", you said gently, making him look up at you and showing you his eyes is full of concern.
"We can't help it, you're like a nice noona to me and if that really occurs, I don't know what I would do to myself", Sunoo agreed with him.
All of their words were such a refreshing addition after hearing from your class section that they will protect you from now on.
Never had you felt this important other than hearing from your mom that she will never leave you side, unlike of the other parent.
"I'm okay", you reassured them, rubbing subtly on your cheek to wipe the lone tear, "I'll be okay because you're here with me"
Tears were so easy to stop and hide for you at the same time. It just never an easier job to prevent it from flowing out at the thought of your dad.
He is the one to teach you not to trust men or to even be close to them.
And yet here you are, meeting a lot of boys to prove your assumptions of them wrong.
Content with your answer, but not glad to see you trying to hide your tears, Heeseung said, "You know, it's okay to cry with us. We're your friends, after all. We'll never judge you to showing emotions"
"I heard you'll feel better if you cry it out. You're not a robot, so please just do it", Sunoo agreed, removing his head from your shoulder in order to make you see his reassuring smile.
"Guys", you muttered, dropping your head into Heeseung's shoulder in turn.
You burrowed your head into his neck, crying out in sorrowful wails and not letting them know it's for another reason, a thing of the past always following you anywhere in your life.
What you don't know though, as Heeseung rubbed your back soothingly, there's Jay in front of the door, his eyes watering to hear you cry for the first time.
Behind him, Jake turns up who then placed a hand in his shoulder in hopes to comfort a friend.
"Now I know", he says quietly, causing for Jay to face him.
"What do you know?", Jay asked in a whisper, his eyes closing to hear your sobs is getting louder.
Jake lifted his head to look at his eyes directly, "She is not as tough as she'd like for us to see her"
"And?", Jay whisper, his ears perking up at the sound of another footsteps stopping from a feet away.
He doesn't even need to look that it was Sunghoon. Who else can't stay in one place without worrying for the girl they love?
When they all know she must still be rattled and concerned over those boys almost touching her in a way any girl didn't deserve.
"We have to promise one thing to ourselves", Jake says, his eyes went into contact with Sunghoon who gives a nod.
The three of them shared a look of understanding, an understanding they knew could benefit you one way or another.
"No matter who she chooses between us, the promise we have is we'll stick in protecting her no matter what, is that right?", Jay asked for a clarification from the two.
Sunghood nods, "She may not show it, but that girl would hate us if we fight or ruin our friendship for her", he pointed out.
"That's why we should not do anything else again that would worry her for us", Jake is saying, a smile growing in his face at their mutual understanding.
Not really against with anything, but still ready to annoy Jake, Jay remarks, "Even if there's a possibility that we can still steal her away from your clutch?"
"Friends before girls", Jake said, then gives a light punch to Jay's shoulder as the three of them begin to walk away.
"You didn't want to say hoe because well, it's her", Sunghoon added, putting a laughter in his face when the two J's with him frown in unison.
You didn't know it then, as you opened up a secret to Sunoo and Heeseung who were both shocked to the core of what they heard from you about your dad, the triple threat in your life is walking out together in the school grounds with smile on their faces.
With all of them being ignorant the limousine parking before the Principal's office would bring the biggest fear in your side.
For it was the return of a form from your bad memories that you never want to return to.

You were on your way to visit Mrs. Nam after she emailed you saying there would be an announcement regarding the spokeperson for the starting ceremony of the Foundation's Day.
Since you were now proclaimed as the President of your class, when it should've been Jay who was too lazy to actually carry out the role, so here you were, skipping in your feet in your way to the faculty's office.
Cheerful is the only thing that can describe your mood.
The other male students who you usually cross path with and never bothered to greet, is being all surprise to hear you greeting them cheerfuly, but they can't help returning the greetings with a wave of their hands.
As much as you want to stop being like this, you couldn't, not when all your crying had led to Heeseung and Sunoo saying they'll be paying for all your meals for the whole week.
It really pays to be emotional sometimes, you think.
"Mrs. Nam, I'm here", you announced your presence as you opened the door to her office beside the Principal's.
Your eyes immediately went to her desk, expecting the nice woman to be alone and there she goes, having a company, a tall man in a very expensive coat and a hat to hide his face from your view for now.
Maybe he is the spokeperson, you guess.
"Ms. L/N, you're just in time to meet the person I'm talking about in the email", Mrs Nam is smiling as she gestured for you to take the seat across the man.
"Thank you -"
Suddenly, you were interrupted by the spokeperson slowly removing his hat and his eyes were directed onto yours as it widens, only for you to do the same once you finally got a good look of him.
It's as if the clock stopped ticking the moment your eyes that were the same color of his scanned the familiar wrinkles under his eyes whenever he smiles, and there is the scar he once got from bumping into a front of the car, just so he could save you from being the one to experience the hit when you were just a child.
On top of that, even if years had come to passed by since his departure from home, his appearance never change, not at all.
The only exception that maybe he is looking more richer now than before.
"Is that really you, my Princess?", he called out in shock, and then he stood up in order to get at you.
The nickname you had not heard, but still missed and hated at the same time is back. Emotions it brought had returned along the fear you have of him, of your dad as he is the only one that can bring you down to your knees.
Not that he'd ever hurt you anything or physically, but the pain of him turning your mom to a broken soul that she was, that she was trying to hard from the others and even to you, is now back.
And why does it feels like to be fresh, like the pain of him leaving was just yesterday?
Mrs. Nam is now looking at the two of you in confusion, "Mr. Hwang, did the two of you know each other?", she asked, clearly trying to be professional.
"No, I don't know him. I've never met this man in my life", you stated harshly, only staying long enough for you to see the hurt in his eyes.
Before anyone could say or do anything to stop you from leaving, you dashed out of there, taking in a run as soon as you get into the school ground for you to not see him further.
Despite of you trying to be strong, to be fearless against your own fears, tears were still there to sprung out from your eyes. You couldn't take it, you could not imagine what your mom would feel to see that he's here.
You won't even care to tell her or else, she'd be running here straight in order to see him.
For what? Only for you to witness her again begging for him to return even though she already knew, he already had another family and another daughter to call a princess.
You were already reaching the back of the school when you bumped into someone who turns to be Jay.
As soon as he saw your state, he left Jungwon to himself and pulled you behind a tree, to hide you from the prying ears before quietly asking, "What's the matter? Who made you cry? Tell me"
You look into his eyes, filled with concern before taking him in a hug and cried out, "He's back"
"Who?", he asked you, quickly rubbing you in the back and god, does it hurt for him to felt your tears dropping down into his neck.
"My dad is back", you revealed, not enough for him to know who it was.
"Where?", he asked still, not really knowing what else to say.
"Here", you can only say before you felt all the strength abandon your knees.
Jay who stood before you, placed an arm around your waist to keep you upright, "I don't understand"
This was not happening, you thought as tears flooded your eyes, this wasn't fair. It wasn't right!
He wasn't supposed to come back and act like nothing happened.
And once you managed to sort through the confusing mass of emotions, there was one constant thought repeating in your mind;
He is here and only he could tell the explanation why.
