"Why can't you." Steve says.

"Because the only way to turn it back on I would have to care about something or someone." I say walking back towards the bed.

"We'll leave you alone." Tony says as everybody walks away.

It's now dark out and looking out the window that is in your room and the door opens.

"Hey you ok." Steve says closing the door.

"Yeah I'm fine." I say.

"Just tell me why you turned it off." Steve says sitting at the edge of your bed.

"Why." I say confused.

"Cause now come here." He says patting a seat right next to him.

"Fine. I turned it off because of my dad well he's not really my dad but whatever." I say.

"So it wasn't because of me." Steve says.

"No, I tried to kill myself Steve and he wasn't even there when I could have been on my death bed I shot myself with wooden bullets and he was with Amber and you know what that hurt." I say.

"You had me." Steve says.

"I know but at the end of the day I just wanted my mom to be honest when she was killed I was 16 like actually 16 not vampire year 16." I say.

"You could just have told me." Steve says.

"I know and I'm sorry that I hurt you and left without telling you." I say looking at him in the eyes.

"It's ok." He says as I rest my head on his shoulder. "So did you turn it back on." He says.

"It's been on." I say.

"Can we try this again please." Steve says.

"What about Amber." I say.

"Let's just wait for that." He says as he kisses me.

"Forever." I say as I pull away.

"Forever." He says kissing me again.
