Thousands of years flew by and in that time King Thranduil and Queen Maesera hadn't seen each other nor heard anything of each other.

The dragons were flying over her castle and her kingdom besides she was a shadow of herself, sad, still grieving, heartless and mad.
Her dragons felt it and so they were acting like her, without any mercy.

King Thranduil wasn't doing better he was as cold as usually after his wife's death he was too still grieving after all this time.
His kingdom is sick the Greenwood wasn't called the Greenwood any longer, everyone called it the Mirkwood.

"Tauriel!" The King called out.
"Yes my King?" She walked to him.
"How is it possible that the spiders are still lingering in my kingdom?!" His voice sounded angry and loud in the silence of the palace.
"They are coming back no matter what we do. If we would look from where they are coming we could do more" Tauriel said not daring to look in the Kings eyes.
"And what else? Speak your mind." The King said knowing that this wasn't the only she had to say.
"Where will they go when we chased them away? Maybe they will go to othe-" she was cut of from the King.
"Other landings are not my business! Go and take Legolas with you, remove the spiders." The elven King spoke angrily.
"Yes my King." She bowed and left.

"Who do you think you are?! Lingering in my castle and thinking you could take me down?!" The loud and strong voice of the dragon Queen echoed.
The man in front of her got on his knees. "Please I was forced to do it my family-"
"Is not doing better without a Queen!" She yelled and Trantor the black-green beast behind her was glaring and gowling at him while he showed his teeth.
"It is not the first time someone tries to end me. But it's your last time." With these words Trantor opened his mouth.
"I Maesera Targaryen the last dragon and Queen of Dragonstone condemn you to death" everyone got out of her sight.

"Dracarys" Maesera said coldly and Trantor burned the man in front of them.
"Call Lily to my chambers. I need a normal person around me" she stood up from her throne and left.

Trantor growled and ate the dead body.
He was the biggest dragon from Maesera and always lies behind her throne.
He gets out and leaves the castle through a secret passage only the dragons and the Queen knew.

The Queen was in her chambers and Lily came in.
"You called me?" She said and bowed.
"Stop that and come to me." Maesera said lovely.
Lily made her way to her Queen.
"I told you a thousand times my dear, call me by my name and you do not have to bow before me" the Queen said brushing a view loose hairs behind Lilys ear.
"I am sorry, could you do me a favor?" Lily asked.
"What favor my dear?" The Queen asked back.
"Please read the letters from King Thranduil you never knew what is standing in" Lily said knowing that the theme King Thranduil is very sensible.
"Why? He has his own kingdom and duties."
"Yes I know but-"
"No but! It is not your business and not your decision!"

"I am sorry, I did not want to make you angry, but you really changed" Lily said brave enough and hoping that the Queen wouldn't burn her too.
"I changed? What would you do in my position Lily?! My daughter died in my arms, her dragon and my heart with her!" She yelled at Lily "if you were not the only person I have around me since that day and ever before I would burn you." The Queen ended her sentence hurt.
"I.. do not know what I would do. I am very sorry" Lily spoke but not coming near to the Queen.
"Please leave me alone Lily" the Queen said not looking at her.

Lily left hurt from the Queens words and saw the postman walking to the dragon Queens chambers, she smiled to herself hoping that this letter would be one of the King again after all this time.

"Father? I need to speak to you" Legolas came into the throne room.
"What is it Legolas?" He asked.
"I know that queen Maesera did not answer to you letters but-"
"I know that this time of the year she lost her daughter, Legolas and I know what you try to tell me" the King cut of his son, and came down the throne.
"So you will try it once more?" Legolas asked.
"If you go and remove the spiders out of my forest I will think about it" the King said coldly.
Legolas nods.

The King went to his chambers thinking about the letters and the beautiful evening he and Maesera had before they flew home and Naerys died.
He took his feather and a paper and started writing a view lines.

After a while he was ready and gave the letter to the postman.
"For the dragon Queen of Dragonstone" he released the letter and went to the royal garden.

"I hope she will answer only this single letter" he spoke to himself.

A knock was heard.
"Come in" the Queen said.

The postman came in and bowed before her.
"My queen it is a letter from King Thranduil of Mirkwood"
"Leave it on my table" she said.
The postman nodded and left the Queen.

"Well, well you don't stop writing me letters my king don't you?" she stroke with her fingers over the letter.
"Maybe Lily was right I should open it" she sat down on her table and opened it.

Hello Queen Maesera,
I do not know if you ever opened my letters but I hope dearly that you will open this one.
I invite you to my palace, a summer feast will be held and it would be a pleasure to welcome you and your dragons again.

Maesera smiled and looked out of the window in the direction of the Mirkwood.
"Ser Darios call Lily it is very important" she said more friendly than usually.
"Of course my Queen" he said and called a servant to get Lily.

It was not long and Lily came in.
"You called me Maesera?" She said with a sad voice.
"Lily please look in my eyes, I am so sorry, I should not have said all these things to you." Maesera apologized.
Lily looked in her queens eyes and said "Already forgiven" and smiled.
They hugged each other and talked a long time until Lily left when the sun sets.

The Queen wrote an answer but didn't send it to the King.
She promised herself that she would give this letter to the King herself.
