"FIRST OFF, I WANNA SAY I'M SORRY. I know I really screwed the pooch on this whole going-back-in-time-and-getting-stuck thing," admitted Five. "But the real kick in the pants here is we brought the end of the world back here with us."

Klaus gasped. "Oh, my God, again?" he looked towards the siblings as Elli gave an identical face.

"Oh, come on. Seriously?" she put her face in her hands.

"All of you knew?" Klaus looked at his who had not nervous faces. "Why are we always the last ones to find out about the end of theโ€”Oh, my God. My cult is gonna be so pissed. Five!" Klaus realized. "I told them we had until 2019."

"We have until Monday. We have six days," deadpanned Five.

"You have a cult?" asked Elli as she was confused.

"Yes. Destiny's Children. You can join if you want." Elli shook her head. "Oh, I forgot to ask. Is it Vanya?"

"Klaus," Allison sighed.

"What? It's usually Vanya," he shrugged.

"Do you have any leads, Five?" asked Vanya.

"Yeah, we have one," he handed over a file to Allison.

Elli moved Cutie off her lap and onto the chair so she could move over and see the file that had a photo of Reginald. He wore his monocle around his eye and had an umbrella over him.

"Holy shit, is that Dad?" Allison looked up towards her brother.

"Yeah," Five sighed.

"That's him?" Vanya asked and Elli nodded.

"That's your dad," answered Elli.

"Standing on the grassy knoll," Diego made certain.

"Diego and I have been trying to talk to Dad about what exactly this means. So far, we've got nothing," Five took back the file and Elli moved back to her previous spot.

"Not nothing," denied Diego. "He's planning to kill Kennedy."

"Maybe," Five sorta agreed. "But we don't know who or what sets doomsday in motion. Could be Kennedy, could be something entirely independent. But if we know something changes the timeline, we have to make it right."

"Yeah, but how, if we don't know what's broken?" Vanya asked.

"Come on. Do the math," Diego leaned forward. "We know Dad's having shady-ass meetings with some shady-ass people. We know he's on the grassy knoll in three days to kill the president. So I think we all know what we have to do."

"Find Dad."

"Kill Dad."

They all gave each other's looks as they heard both of their responses.

"None of us are supposed to be here, right?" Vanya asked. "I mean, what if it's us? Has anyone here done anything to screw up the timeline?"

They all stayed silent and looked to the side.

"Diego's been stalking Lee Harvey Oswald," Luther pointed to said brother.

"And you're working for Jack Ruby," Diego pointed back.

"Allison has been very involved in local politics," Klaus added.

"As she should," Elli muttered under her breath.

"Okay, you started a cult," Allison smirked.

"Thank you!" Ben pointed out and Klaus started to growl and hiss at him.

"I'mโ€”I'm just aโ€”a nanny on a farm. I don't have anything to do with all of that," said Vanya.

"Well, maybe you do, we just don't know it yet," spoke Allison.

"Iโ€”"

"Elli got cheated on!" Diego shouted as Elli was about to speak.

The Hargreeves looked at Elli before the three other men in the family stood up.

"We need a name," Five stepped forward.

"Number," demanded Luther.

"Address. Now," Klaus slammed his drink down on the table.

Elli gave Diego a harsh look before shoving her face into a pillow and screaming. After she got it all out of her system, she pulled her face back out then threw the pillow at Diego and it hit him straight in the face.

"You're very lucky I don't have a bat right now. I would knock you out," she glared.

"Listen to yourselves," Diego got back on his feet and pulled their attention. "Everything in our new lives is connected to Kennedy. That can't be a coincidence. Luther works for Ruby, Allison is protesting the government, Dad is on the grassy knoll, Klaus is. . . doing something weird and pervy but probably related." The siblings rolled their eyes at Diego's words.

"See, clearly, we were all sent back here for one special reason: saving John Fitzgerald Kennedy," announced Diego and everyone started to argue over one another and it turned into one big argument.

"Guys, you all die," Five pulled the attention. "I was there. I saw it. And I wanna forget it, but I can't. I saw Russian nukes vaporize the world with all of you in it. . . in a war that never happened until we brought it here. And Hazel gave his life to save us, so you may need to shut up and just listen to me," Five had visible tears in his eyes.

Elli felt bad for him. Meaning that he spent so much time by himself and has so much presser on him now that just because his family won't listen to him, he might loose them once again. Maybe forever.

"I don't know if the things we've experienced here are all connected. I don't know if there's a reason
for everything. But Dad will. We need to talk to him before everyone and everything we know is dead."

"Okay, I'm out," sighs Luther as he stands up.

"Did you even hear me, Luther?" Five stepped in front of him.

"Yeah. Yeah, I did," he nodded. "I heard a fifty-eight-year-old man who still wants his daddy to come and fix everything. Well, you can count me out. It's time we all grew the hell up."

"Luther!" Vanya shouted.

"Come back," begged Elli.

"Where you going?" Diego spoke.

"Save it, Diego," Luther bumped Diego hand off him as he tried to stop him.

Five became fed up with his brother and spacial jumped in front of him before Luther could make his way all the way down the steps. "No one leaves until we figure this out."

Luther groaned as he lifted Five up and threw him over the balcony.

"Luther! Why'd you Gamora him off the balcony? That's not nice," Ellie lectured as he ignored her and made his way down the stairs.

"You know, I could really go for some tacos right now," Klaus spoke aloud. "Allison? Tacos?"

"Shouldn't we wait?" Allison pondered.

"You know those guys. I mean, it could take forever for them to bro it out," Klaus made a moving gesture. "Vanya, tacos?"

Vanya sighed. "Is there any way that tacos are gonna cause the end of the world?"

Klaus scoffed. "I mean, there's only one way to find out, right?" he snapped his fingers towards Vanya.

"Sure is," agreed Allison.

"Let's go!" Klaus giggled as he stood up. "Elli, you wanna come?"

"Yeah," the two others agreed.

"It'll be fun!" Allison smiled. "Like a girls day plus Klaus type thing. We can talk about your relationship problems. Well, all of our relationship problems."

Vanya giggles as she spoke and grabbed Cutie from Elli's lap. "I'm sure this cute little thing wants to go," she scrunched her nose and smiled.

Elli chuckled and she made her way off the couch and followed them out of the living room area.

"I've missed you all. . . so much," Ben sighed as the room was empty, besides Mace who was sitting on the couch. "You gonna say hi to Elli yet?"

Mace thought for a moment. "I think she forgot about me. I was gonna surprise her, but she didn't say anything or ask about me. Maybe she forgot her best friend and made a new one," his shoulders dropped.

"The nerve of that man," Allison scoffed as she brushed through Klaus' hair with a comb.

They were all in the salon Allison worked in. Beers were lying around (not for Elli of course, but from the others) , the four of them in random areas, and Elli eating Now and Laters they got from a nearby store.

"I mean, one thing goes wrong, and he's on a warpath. I mean, doesn't know who I am? No, no. No, Ray, you know exactly who I am. You just can't handle it," Allison went on.

"Pew, pew," Vanya fake shot the glass bottles that were on the counter causing Elli to laugh.

"I'm protecting him," went on Allison.

"Pew, pew," Vanya shot again.

As Allison kept going, she accidentally hit Klaus with the comb. "Ow. From what?"

"The end of the world, for one. Is the world really gonna end in six days?" asked Vanya.

"Well, it did last time, and we did everything Five could think of to stop it," explained Allison.

"Hey, wouldn't it be weird if Five grew up all hot?" Klaus randomly said. "Wouldn't that be weird?" the rest of them gave disgusted faces. "What?"

"Eww," Allison grossed.

"Oh!" Klaus took note of that. " "Oh, eww! Eww!" Please, Miss "Luther was my lover." " he began to make kissing noises.

"We have never even kissed," Allison spoke.

"Okay, I haven't even known you for long, and I know that's a lie," Elli spoke up as she passed Cutie to Vanya who reached out for her.

"Yeah, but you guys were making little sick moon-dog eyes at each other all through puberty and breakfasts and all that," Klaus explained.

"Aren't we all brothers and sisters, or. . . ?" questioned Vanya.

Klaus snorted as Elli said, "Not me, though."

"No," Allison shook her head. "you're family. No matter what, we still consider you family."

"Sure. Considering you've left me out of "family meetings" a couple times, it makes it pretty clear," she gave a tight lipped smile.

Allison sighed. No matter how many times everyone told her, she still wouldn't see them as family. "Well, back to what Vanya said, technically, itโ€”"

" "Technically"? If you have to word. . . use the word "technically," you're already in trouble," Klaus said as Vanya giggled.

"Okay, can. . . can we focus? I mean, clearly we're not saving the world tonight, but maybe, maybe, we could at least try to save my marriage," Allison tried to renew the conversation.

"No! No, because that's like. . . that's like asking a nun how to hump someone's leg. I mean, who in this room knows shit about relationships? This one?" he pointed to Vanya. "In secret love with some farm Frau."

Vanya groaned. "Her name's Sissy."

"Which is an improvement on her previous love interest, the serial killer," Klaus announced.

"What?" Vanya sat up quickly and Allison dismissed her off as it was nothing.

"Meanwhile, I'm carrying a torch for a soldier I haven't technically met yet, and Luther is in love with his sisterโ€”"

"Okay, again, we are not biological," Allison pointed out.

"Face it, the healthiest long-term relationship in this family was when Five was banging that mannequin," Klaus said.

"He had sex with that thing? I touched it," Elli yucked as she wiped her hands on her clothes.

"The only thing the Umbrella Academy knows about love. . . is how to screw it up," Klaus finished.

"Cheers," Allison and Vanya put their drinks up.

"What about you, Elli? How's relationships going for you since you got dumped?"

Elli sighed. "I didn't get dumped, Klaus. There was this. . . girl named Deborah, Debbie, and she moved in next door to me. We started to become friends overtime, but then at Mary's Christmas party we played spin the bottle and it landed on me and her.

While in there, she admitted to liking me and I told her I liked her too. Days after on Christmas we started dating and really hit it off. It was going great, really, and around the first week of October I figured out I loved her."

"Did you tell her?" Allison asked.

Elli shook her head. "I didn't, but was going to at the gala last night. I was going to dance with her then during it was going to tell her and pray to god she loved me back.

There was a friend I have, well had, and his name was Kenny. I guess I could always tell he liked Deb because of the glares he would give me when we would talk to each other or hold hands and what not.

He told us that the person he liked didn't go that night and asked if he could dance with one of us instead. I was gonna step forward and dance with him, but he insisted that Debbie did.

So, I let her thinking nothing was going to happen. I went back to the food table, talked to someone, then when I went back to where they were, they were gone.

I walked around a bit until I got to the balcony to find that they were kissing. Right in front of my face."

"Oh, Elli. . ." Klaus went over to hug the girl who placed her head on his chest as she sniffled.

"Have you talked to her yet?" pondered Vanya as she shook her head.

"I was supposed to ride home with her, but I'm guessing she forgot about me and went with Kenny instead. I'm so confused, what did I do wrong? I thought everything I was doing was right, but I did everything wrong."

Allison shook her head. "It's not your fault, Elli. Maybe she was in the wrong."

"How do you guys deal with this?" Vanya turned the convo.

"What?"

"I mean, all of it. The time travel, seeing the dead, the end of the world."

"Well, I get really high. Allison. . . Allison. . . lies to herself," he whispered to Vanya. "Elli talks to Mace, and you suppress all your emotions deep, deep down until you. . . you blow shit up."

"Yeah, I'd really like to not do that anymore," Vanya made certain.

"Well, you've got six days, missy," spoke Klaus.

"What the hell are we supposed to do with six days?" Vanya asked.

"Party?" Klaus scoffs. "I don't know."

"I'm gonna tell Sissy that I love her," Vanya said and Elli clapped silently.

"Hopefully it goes better than mine."

"I don't want any secrets. Yeah."

"Yeah," agreed Allison. "Yeah, yeah, you're right. Yes, 'cause, you know, if. . . if it's all gonna go tits-up, the least I could do is be honest with my husband."

"Oh. . ." Klaus sighed. "does that mean I have to face my cult? I just hate group breakups. It's why I stopped dating twins." Elli gave a concerned face.

"This family's amazing," smiled Vanya.

"Yeah, sure."

"Okay, let's not get ahead of ourselves."

"Come here, Vanya," Klaus held out his arms. "Come on. Get over here," Vanya placed Cutie beside her and hopped into the hug. Allison joined as well.

"You too, Elli. You need love right now," Allison held out an arm for the girl.

Elli sighed as she slid off her chair then walked over to the group and got pulled into a hug. "I love you guys," Klaus spoke muffled and Allison laughed.

"Oh! You guys!" Allison gasped. "I love this song!" she ran over to the radio as "Twisting the Night Away" started to play on the radio.

Elli grabbed Cutie from the chair and brought her towards the one she was previously in and sat with her. She watched as the three danced around drunk in the salon. The smiles on their faces and how they could be so happy even though the world was about to end.

They all sat back down and got their giggles out and then sighed.

"Elli," Klaus called her. "does this finally mean Mace will leave me alone, now?"

Elli's eyes widened. "Mace is with you? I thoughtโ€”"

"Oh, honey, he's been with me since I got here."

"Where is he?" Elli stood up and gave Cutie to Vanya.

"Elliots with Ben. We can go thereโ€”" Elli rushed out of the salon and started to run to Elliots. "in a bit," Klaus sighed. "Guess not."

Elli ran full speed to Elliots without taking any stops.  She couldn't believe it. Mace was really there. Oh, how much she would tell him. How long she's been waiting.

Elli went towards the back door of Elliots and ran up the stairs to the living room space. "Mace!" she called out to see it empty. Her shoulders dropped as she looked at all the empty chairs and the empty couch.

Did Klaus lie? Did he want her to get away from the others? What ifโ€”

"Down here, ya idiot," called out Mace.

Elli moved to the balcony to see him down near the TVs, leaning near the stand. Elli moved down the stairs and went face to face with him.

"Are you actually there?" she lifted a finger and touched his cheek and Mace slapped her hand.

"Stop it," he gave her a look. She did it again and he slapped her hand once more. "Stop it." Elli then touched both of his cheeks then he slapped both of her hands. "Stop it!" he laughed.

Elli pulled him into a tight hugged and breathed in his scent. "I missed you so much." Mace hugged her tighter.

"Missed you too. Tell me everything. Please. I've been stuck with Klaus and his cult, traveling all around the world and it was frightening. Very frightening," he kissed her temple.

Elli laughed but it was muffled. "I will, don't worry."

โ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ข

"Damn," Mace sighed as he ate a piece of bread with butter. "That's a lot. Can't believe that all happened."

"I know right. And you weren't there for any of it."

"I wanna see the scars," he pointed to her shirt.

Elli lifted her shirt up and ran her finger over the three faded marks. "It's healed now, obviously, but I still look at it a lot."

"What happened? To the three girls, I mean?"

Elli started to grin a bit. "I took care of it," she gave him an innocent look.

"Okay. . ." Mace looked at her creepily.

They heard steps coming from the stairs and turned their heads to see Five coming up the stairs.

"Hey, Five." Five looked towards where the voice originated from and walked towards Elli.

"Elli. What're you doing here still?"

"I didn't feel like going home tonight, so I'm staying here for the night. Mary and Bon said it was okay," she nodded.

"Elli, question?" Five stood in the kitchen doorway. "Do you remember the night your parents died? Or who killed them to be precise?"

Elli nodded her head. "Yeah. I just remember what they look like. But, if I did ever find out who killed my family, I'd make them pay," she shrugged and ate the other piece of bread.

Five nodded then stepped out of the kitchen into a spare room Elliot had. He sat on the bed and put his face on his hands, rubbing them up and down his face.

"Shit."

Five was with the Handler minutes before and she was telling him about the deal he could do to save his family. "Not yet you aren't," he was about to spacial jump away.

"Hold it," The Handler held him back and slipped a hand into her jacket. "I have to show you something," she held a file up in the air.

Five rolled his eyes and went back to The Handler, swiping the file from her hands. It was a regular commission file they would get for kill orders. The file would consist of who's the target, if they had any children, the mission, etc.

He skimmed over the top and didn't see how it was important. "You gave me this why?"

"Look at the bottom." Fives eyes lead to the bottom.
