"LOOK AT ALL THE RIDES AND GAMES, GIRLS," Mary said as she looked all the bright lights, rides, food stands, and games. "What should we try, eat, or go on first?"

"How about. . ." Elli thought as she held hands with Debbie. "that one," she pointed to a ride that was called the Star Flyer.

It was a two seater ride where they brought you to the sky to spin around then brought you down slowly.

"Oh, hell no. You guys can go on that while Mary and I play games," Bonnie declined.

"Aw, you fun sponge. That one looks so cool," Mary looked at it.

"Well, you wanna go by yourself?" Bonnie gave her a look and Mary gave one back. "Please, Mary? I hate super tall rides."

Mary sighed and turned to the girls. "You guys go and wait in line while we go play some games." Bonnie yes'd as she grabbed her wife's hand and pulled her to the games.

The line wasn't very long for the ride so they didn't have to wait long. Once they got on, they strapped themselves in and a worker came over and checked them. As they started to go up, the two looked under them at all the pretty lights and outlines of the park. It had an amazing birds eye view.

As they exited the ride, Mary and Bon were out waiting. "Did you guys have fun?" Mary asked.

"Yeah. It's an amazing view. Let's go do more," Elli pulled Debbie along with her and lead her to more rides.

The day went great. They had rode many rides, played games, Elli even had her first funnel cake and it was to die for. On the way out, the four of them passed by a petting zoo that had many cute animals.

They had goats, ducks, rabbits, and sheeps. Right next to it was where you could win an animal.

You see, Elli had been begging for a pet ever since New Years when one of Mary's friends brought over their animal for them to watch while she went out of town. Elli thought it would be a perfect moment to ask because, well, it was her birthday.

"Step up, step up. Whoever can guess the weight of a rabbit will win one!" the man dressed in a ringmaster outfit announced at the top of his lungs.

"Ooh, can I go guess?" begged Elli.

Mary and Bonnie shared looks. "I don't know, dear. If you guess right, then you win one. Are you capable of taking care of your own animal? You have to feed it, bathe it, and everything, honey."

"I know, I know. I promise I'll do well. I've always wanted a pet. Please, please, please?" she gave puppy eyes and a lip quiver.

"You guys better say yes. She can hold that forever," Deb spoke a truth as the two women talked to each other with their eyesight.

"Oh, alright." Elli smiled brightly. "We'll help you get settled, then after that, you're on your own. Okay?"

"Okay. Thank you, thank you, thank you," she hugged them tightly. "Come on," she grabbed Debs hand and dragged her to where the ringmaster was.

"Hello, dear children. Are you here to guess the weight of the two pound rabbit?"

Elli gave Debbie a look as she gave the same. "Yes?"

"Okay. Well, what's your guess?"

". . . Two pounds?"

The ringmaster gave a shocked look. "Are you a witch? How did you know the exact weight?"

Elli chuckled as she gave a bracing look along with Debbie. "I. . . guessed. Can I pick which one I want?"

The ringmaster nodded and she went over to the pen of rabbits. The two looked at different coat colors and different types.

"Aw, that ones a cutie," Elli pointed to one who's head popped up and looked at her when she said that. "That one!" she pointed to the one she made eye contact with.

"Okay, young lady," the ringmaster reached his hand in and picked up the rabbit, handing it to her. "This one right here is a Broken Frosty. She is eleven months old and her birthday falls on November nineteenth."

Elli smiled as she began to pet the small rabbit. "Thank you so much," she began to walk back to Bonnie and Mary. "Look! I guessed right."

Mary looked at the rabbit and began to take it from her hands, cradling it in her arms. "Aw. She's so cute. How come she gets a pet? I want a dog," she complained like a child.

Bonnie shook her head. "Nope, I'm allergic. Too bad, so sad." Elli and Deb laughed as they all started to exit the fair.

Since it was only around nine when the girls left, they decided to get some food from a dinner to take back to the house. As Bonnie and Mary stayed on the couch watching a movie after they finished eating, Deb and Elli went upstairs to hangout and listen to the small radio she had in her room with her new pet.

"You still haven't decided on a name yet. Got any ideas?" Deb asked as she laid her head on Elli's shoulder.

"I was thinking Cutie. Because when I said the word she looked up at me. Here, let's try," she pet the furry animal that resided on her lap. "Cutie," she spoke and the rabbit looked up with her blue-grey eyes.

"Cutie it is," Deb chuckled as she began to pet the animal.

Over the course of the week after the sleepover, the three started getting things for Cutie. They got her hay that she needed for going to the bathroom, some food, toys, and Elli even bought her some cute outfits and hats to wear.

They had her situated in the backyard. They wouldn't leave her out there, only put her stuff she needed to go to the bathroom and some toys to play with. There wasn't a way for her to even escape since there was a fence, but they still bought a metal dog crate to put around her area.

In the backyard was also a garden. The garden had pretty flowers and some fruits and vegetable. Like strawberries, blue/blackberries, carrots, and cilantro. Some of them Cutie would go over and eat sometimes.

Mary loved Cutie. She would steal her all the time from Elli whenever she could. She always wanted a pet since when she was little. She even bought Cutie a matching apron like she had. Name branded, yellow color with bees, and everything.

The family of three was now a big family of four.
