Ayaan and Amal were continuously gazing at the door waiting for her. And she did come after a few minutes dressed up in simple kurti and leggings.

The duo smiled at her which startled her.

"Sorry, I got late."

"No problem. You don't have to apologise." He smiled at her and she didn't return it being timid.

"Back to square one." Ayaan mumbled to himself when someone knocked on the door making him frown and Roshini smiled.

The couple walked down with Amal constantly staring at her. Ayaan observed this and internally frowned.

"I see you feel like you know her and it's true as well. But don't stare at her like that." He whispered into the little one's ear and he giggled at his father.

Mathew was already involved in a banter with Dhanya which the family ignored royally.

"So Mr Good for nothing Mathew, enlighten us with your sudden visit to India." Ayaan spoke with displeasure and Mathew laughed.

"Definitely I'm not here to meet you. I came for my sister." He said looking at Roshini who in return smiled at him.

Ayaan did feel jealous when she felt timid in front of him but smiled at Mathew. He stomped his foot on Mathew's who grunted in pain.

"Ah, the food is hot." Mathew covered the noise he created and Ayaan smiled with a grimace.

The family was eating breakfast with laughs and smiles. Ayaan was feeding Amal and the little one was still staring at Roshini.

Gayatri did observe the change in her grandson in a night and decided to ask him after breakfast.
Vasudev was thinking about the evening which would lead to anything but a dinner.

But they didn't know that was no need to wait till evening for the storm to create a havoc. The doorbell rang disturbing the new found peace.

The housekeeper opened the door and the visitor barged into the living room. Kaushalya came to greet the unexpected guest but was amazed to see Divya and a man with her.

"Aunty, where is Roshini Akka?" Divya asked with concern leaving no room for pleasantries. Kaushalya signed towards the dining way and the former sprinted like bolt.

"Akka," Divya happily screamed finding her sister smiling with the family she belonged to.

"Divi!" Roshini, though surprised to see her sister, hugged her. Both were lost in each other to notice the clearly shocked family.

"Roshini," Ayaan yelled to break the bubble of the sisters. Breaking the Divya looked at him who was looking at his wife.

"I need to talk to you." Divya stated looking at Ayaan and Aaryan chose to be spectator.

"Pinni, take Amal for some time." Ayaan passed him to Thara and the brat was already clinging to her lured by the sweets.

Ayaan looked at the duo with a 'follow me' look and Divya and Aaryan followed him. Mathew followed them to know the truth.

The intimidating gaze of Ayaan made Aaryan wonder how Roshini loved this man. Mathew was looking at the duo who came to talk but chose to stare for the time being.

"I suppose you are here to talk." Ayaan told to none in particular.

"I know, it's just I don't from where to begin." Divya felt loss of words to initiate the conversation. Ayaan didn't like to waste his time anymore.

"Start from wherever you want."

"She doesn't remember you." Divya said and Ayaan knew who was that she.

"I want answers not explanations."

"I still remember that phone call, she got scared when I told her that family started to look for matches for her. One thing was always for sure in our family that love marriage is not our thing. Even Gautham Annayya was always reminded that. They thought that we girls wouldn't dare but Gautham Annayya being the ego boosted male would do that. But you came into her life like an unexpected rain in the November. You fell first and made her fall harder for you."

"I don't understand why you are digging the past now." Ayaan seethed as did reminded those good old days of his life.

"Because, it all began there." Aaryan replied but a death glare from Ayaan.

"She told me that she will marry you first and then convince the family. And she did marry you. I was happy for her. Though she shared about every moment of her life, she hid her pregnancy and your little one from me." Divya halted as if gathering the words to complete the answer.

"May be Amal would be one month old then, Pedda Nanna and Nanna went to London for a meeting and decided to visit Akka as well. I tried to inform her but she didn't answer my calls. A day later, Nanna called me that Akka met with an accident when she was coming to meet them. And the accident was fatal."

"She got scars on her whole body, some faded but some decided to stay and remind her about the accident every time. She was in coma for a month and when she woke up she didn't remember anyone of us. Doctors told us that the accident was fatal and she was diagnosed with dissociative amnesia. It took three months for her to remember the past but she was affected by the trauma and got traumatic amnesia. And till today she didn't show any signs of improvement."

"And why the hell I was not informed of this when she shared everything with you?" Ayaan screamed in anger. His love has been suffering and there he was waiting for her.

"She was scared of the family and never disclosed any detail of yours. I only know your name. I decided to find you and then settle the things. It took me five months to find out about you with the help of Aaryan. Everything would have been alright if our wedding wasn't fixed. The night before wedding, Aaryan called me that he found a clue about you. I was so happy and left to London leaving my responsibility as a daughter of the family. There we met Professor Khan and he told us about you."

Ayaan was surprised to hear about Professor Khan. Of course, who wouldn't be surprised when his not so favourite professor helped them.

"For the first time in my life, I regret for maintaining my life low key." Ayaan whispered. May be, if he was easy to approach, they wouldn't suffer like that.

"My friend told me that the wedding did happen and I worried about Akka. I just ruined three lives but all my worries vanished when she told me you married her. Her wish to have a family wedding is also fulfilled by this." Divya smiled in happiness. And Ayaan too smiled remembering his wife's wishes.

"I want each and every file and reports of her health." Ayaan ordered and Divya nodded.

"But I still don't understand how this idiot got married to his wife twice." Mathew sniggered and Ayaan rolled his eyes.

"That's love and who allowed you to come in?" Ayaan clenched his jaw.

"I don't need any permission." Mathew raised his imaginary collar and Ayaan smacked his head in return.

"Ouch, you idiot. Now my sister will be of no help." Mathew fake cried in pain.

"But what about you now? Do you think your family would like to see your face again?" Ayaan questioned which drained the colour on her face.

"We can tell them about you and then they will understand." Aaryan suggested and Divya glared at him for the unwanted suggestion.

"No, let the truth that Akka was married before be with us. I don't want our family to know about this. And coming to your question, I would tell them that I didn't like you but tried my best to marry you and couldn't do the same in the end time."

"My suggestion was better than this." Aaryan rolled his eyes hearing her lame excuse.

"That's for you both to decide and now you're free to leave my home." Ayaan showed his hand to the door.

"In simple words, he is saying to get away from his sight." Mathew cleared his words and the duo was clearly not in favour of that.

"I did all this for you and you're showing no sympathy towards me?" Divya yelled in irritation and Aaryan laughed at her.

"I hate you Akka, you put me in this bizzare situation." Divya whispered though it was not intented for Roshini.

"Don't drag my wife-" Ayaan grunted and his words flew away from the window when he saw Roshini standing at the window.

"Roshu," Everyone looked at her and her teary eyes told them that she heard them.

"Akka, when did you come?" Divya walked towards Roshini who was standing numb.

Roshini was looking at Ayaan, she wiped the threatening tears and walked towards him.

"I understand you married me as we're forced. Now that my sister came, this marriage will not-"
Ayaan pulled her through her arm and pushed the rougue strand behind her ear.

"How did you think that I will leave you that easy!" He whispered into her ears and this time she didn't faint listening to the same sentence.

To be continued.

We almost reached the end of this Rekindled Love and only their cute little flashback was left along with some family drama.

When it's ISHAA then remember that family and their drama is necessary!

I did certain research on Amnesia before writing on it. But if there's any blunder, please hesitate to correct me as it's a fiction.

Suggestions are welcomed for the love story of Ayaan and Roshini.

Thank you!
