Announcement: You have been invited to attend the 22nd Coronation of Princess Y/N of the Anthropos Kingdom. Please wear something nice ;)

You were getting into your coronation gown and your hands were increasingly clammy. You gulped looking at your reflection. Who were you kidding! You were not ready for this. You didn't know the first thing about being a Queen.

"Your highness, if you would please just not move around so much", the maid around you asked.

"Sorry", you gulped trying your best to not let your nerves get the best of you.

It was hitting you hard that you were actually going to become a Queen, you would have responsibilities bestowed on you that were yours to bare and handle. You wished you wouldn't mess up because that would mean failure for your entire Kingdom.

So once again, the halls were decked out in white and gold. This time it was for an occasion you thought you would never get to see, your Coronation day.

The halls were full with not only people but wolves too. You had made it mandatory for everyone in the Kingdom and the forest to attend. This was their first way to mingle. You were going to prove that all the stories you, along with the rest of the Kingdom were familiar with was fake. You had seen the kind hearts the wolves had, this coronation was the cause of that and welcoming them into the castle was only one way of showing your gratitude. Yes it would take a while for your people to take in this new reality but the wolves at least deserved this right. To be seen and not feared.

You stood on the stage in your huge gown which was honestly way heavier than you would have thought for it to be.

Your eyes spanned the crowd as your parents gave their speeches.

You saw Nora, Jimin, Hoseok, Namjoon, Jin, Yoongi and Taehyung. They all waved at you excitedly as you waved back.

You were very happy no doubt but you couldn't stop wondering where Jungkook was. Did he not want to come? Did he just save you because the others had told him too and he didn't want to be a part of this.

"Don't be ridiculous! I wouldn't miss this for the world", you heard that all too familiar voice in your head.

He was using telepathic communication.

"J-Jungkook", you chuckled.

"On your left", he replied.

You saw him smiling at you like another face in the crowd.

And then your attention was swept back on the speaker, "I hereby declare Princess Y/N the Queen of the Anthropos Kingdom".

A banner went around your shoulder and waist, and a gold tiara to tie it all together.

You had to blink twice, you thought you were dreaming. The crowd cheered and bowed.

Your parents came by to congratulate you, "I'm so proud of you honey", your mother kissed your forehead.

"You did a noble thing inviting the wolves you know, I will be in peace knowing the Kingdom belongs to the kindest one of us yet", your father commented making your heart thump with excitement for the future.

Next to greet you was Nora.

"AHHHHH", she screamed in excitement making you chuckle.

"I can't believe you did it!", she chuckled. A huge part of this was all thanks to her.

"And as your bestfriend, I'm guessing I'll have some perks", she winked.

You shook your head jokingly, "How about a sleepover in the royal bedroom tonight?", you asked. The royal bedroom only belonged to the King and/or Queen and now it was yours.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME! YES", she chimed in. "I've only ever cleaned it, I'd die to live in it".

You both laughed.

"Umm your highness?", Hoseok came towards you.

"You don't have to call me that", you chuckled.

"Well I just wanted to inform you, the cake is kinda already gone", he pointed towards the food table which was currently being devoured by Taehyung and Jimin. There was a lot of food and the wolves hadn't seen this much in a long time.

"It's okay", you giggled.

You turned around back to Nora who you caught staring in the direction of Namjoon.

"I think you should go talk to him", you playfully nudged her shoulder.

"What! Don't be crazy, he probably has a mate", she sighed like a lovesick puppy.

"He doesn't actually...", Nora looked at you in shock.

"Wait how come?", she asked.

"That is his story to tell so I think you should go talk to him", you emphasized, simultaneously pushing her towards Namjoon.

"I will get you back for this", she mouthed before turning around to see Namjoon right in front of her.

She had no choice but to talk, she was going to thank you for that later, you were sure of it.

"T-Thank you for inviting us", you heard a nervous voice behind you. To your surprise, it was Sheila.

"Oh I-" you didn't know how to react to this mainly because you didn't know if she had changed or she had plotted another plan.

"I seriously mean it", she explained after seeing you so suspicious of her.

Maybe not all wounds would heal quite this quickly but everyone deserved a second chance.

"I'm glad you could make it", you smiled as Sheila's eyes lightened with admiration. She did not think you would be willing to be nice to her so soon.

She took her leave, glad she was able to get some of her guilt washed off. She did plan on telling her wolf pack she had been responsible for a lot of the mess but that story was for another day. Maybe the wolf pack would be forgiving then when it would've been years to this very tale.

"Your Highness, the dance is about to begin, please pick your partner and join the middle", a servent informed you.

You saw how everyone was already getting into pairs which made you nervous because you didn't have one quite yet. Obviously you had someone in mind, your heart was practically bonded to him.

As if your heart desires came to life, you heard a voice you would never seem to get out of your head, quite literally, "Can I have this dance?", Jungkook asked as you. You turned around so fast, you almost tripped on your gown.

"Woah carful there", Jungkook chuckled helping you maintain your balance.

"You- I umm", you were more nervous for this moment then you had been becoming Queen. It was something about him.

Jungkook loosely held one of your hand ever so gently and took you in the center of the hall amongst the other dancing pairs.

He held your waist, gracefully dancing along to the soft melody with you in his arms.

If someone told you this moment was going to happen the first time you met Jungkook, you would have called them absolutely insane because this was absolutely insane, you were going to go insane!

"I don't know how to do this", you gulped.

"Then follow me", he smiled.

You realized you still needed to get one thing off your chest.

"Jungkook, you don't have to come in terms with this if you don't want to, this soulmate thing I mean, I know what you said about me being a hu-", Jungkook didn't let you finish because he already hated what thoughts he had put in your mind.

Sure he hated the idea of all of this before because he  didn't try. He didn't see that fate was there for a reason, you existed for him for a reason. But then he had almost lost you, after all he wasn't that different from humans, just like them, he had lost sight of what he had until he almost didn't have it anymore.

"You're right, I don't have to come in terms with this", he stated nonchalantly.

You felt your world was breaking.

"But what if I want to?", he asked, it was the vulnerability in his voice that had never existed before.

"What?", you were so confused.

"I mean, I was wrong to dismiss our bond just because you were human, when I got to know you, I wanted you to stay, I'm sorry I said it too late", he sighed looking down.

You held his face in your hands, making him face you again.

"Y-you mean that?", you asked, your heart thumping at an enormous speed.

He nodded his head.

"I love you", this time you used telepathic communication to say that.

"I love you too", his smile reached his eyes. He was gorgeous, every part of him.

"I don't know what we will do though", you stated.

"About what?", Jungkook asked.

"You know I have to stay here and run this kingdom but I know you probably want to go back to the forest", you explained.

"Well, now that the kingdom let the wolves in, a lot of the pack wanted to move to the village", he stated.

"Really! That's amazing!", you chimed in.

Jungkook had pure adoration in his eyes, he didn't know how many favours his soulmate had done for his pack. His ancestors would have been happy to see this day.

"S-so where will you go?", you were careful to ask the question because you were afraid of his answer.

"I'll go wherever you go because home is where the heart is and my heart is yours", he answered slowly closing the gap between your lips and his.

He was your home, of that you were certain.

You broke off the kiss, "This feels destined",  you chuckled.

"That's because it is", he replied.
