"Princess, the guests are waiting?", the elderly maid knocked on your door.

"J-just 15 more minutes", you yelled out as your hands were shaking as you were putting on Nora's maid dress.

"Hurry up Y/N, do you want to get caught?", Nora sighed.

You were so nervous and your hands were sweaty and you couldn't believe you were actually doing this.

To make things worse, it was daytime which meant it would be ten times harder to truly make this work.

You were already thinking of all the possibilities if you failed, which the chances of, were very high.

On the other hand, Nora looked confident as ever, as if she had done this multiple times.

"I-I'm done", you grabbed your handkerchief as the last element on the belt of your dress.

You walked out the dressing area to see Nora in the gown you were supposed to be in for your birthday party and the wedding.

"And here is your coat", Nora handed you a thick black covering.

The coat was your main clothing since it made you look like a stranger or commoner only visiting the castle thus leaving would be easy but, incase that didn't work, you guys had a plan B.

Incase the guards did stop you to ask why you had entered the castle, you would show your outfit underneath the coat indicating that you were a maid here for extra help for the princess' wedding.

Once reviewing the plan again for the hundredth time, you finally felt some hope of this actually working out.

The knock was heard again which would be the final call for you before it was time to go see the guests.

"Hurry up Nora!", you whispered.

"Almost done", she called out as she packed some essentials in a bag for you.

It was sure to last you for at least a couple of days which according to your plan would be more than enough.

"So..." Hoseok began as he laid out the map of the entire forest.

"For today, I think I found the perfect place for hunting the deers but...", he kept his hands on his hips as he thought about it for a while.

"But? we can't have any hitches in our hunting routine hyung, we can't waste all our time hunting", Jungkook commented.

In the wolf pack, everyone had responsibilities and each day, there was a method and timing to complete them. If they hadn't put in place such restrictions, neither them or their ancestors would have survived in the forest this long.

The seven boys consisting of six betas, Namjoon, Jin, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung and the Alpha, Jungkook, were the hunting team.

There used to many more Alphas back in the day but with greed for wanting all the power to themselves, they had killed off each other leaving only one which was Jungkook's great great grandfather and through the blood line, despite being the youngest of the seven boys, Jungkook had become the Alpha.

"But it's in the outskirts of the forest so it will take us longer to get back", Taehyung added as he too stared at the map in Hoseok's hand.

"I think it's a good call since winter is coming soon and we need all the food we can get", Jimin gave his opinion.

"What do you think hyung?", despite being the Alpha, Jungkook posed the question to Namjoon who was mostly responsible for all of Jungkook's commands.

Jungkook may be the leader but he trusted Namjoon to always be his guidance.

"I think it's worth the shot", Namjoon nodded.

Just then, Jin entered the hut as he dragged a sleeping Yoongi with him.

"Everyone is finally here", Jin narrowed his eyes, looking to Yoongi in disappointment.

"I'm sorry, no one told me we were doing this so early", Yoongi whined and crossed his arms as he was finally awake.

"We have to start early because we're going to the outskirts of the forest", Jimin explained as they all finally took their leave from the hut and shifted into their wolf forms.

"Ok so, is my face fully covered?", Nora asked after putting on the veil.

You nodded as you too looked at the mirror to see if your face was covered by the cloak completely.

"Alright Y/N, well this is it", Nora held onto your hands tightly as she was afraid to let go.

"A-are you sure this is a good idea? we can still stop if we wa-"

"You have to do this", Nora reassured you.

"But what about you, do you know what could happen if they find out you were part of the plan?", you asked.

"Ughh I've lived my boring old life thus far, I want some adventure", she winked.

"You sound like a grandma, you know you have a lot more life to live", you chuckled.

"We will live it, away from here, this will be good for the both of us", she replied and you nodded understandingly. She was right.

"Ok now let's get going before they get suspicious", Nora sighed.

"You first", she nudged you out the door as you kept your hood down.

The elderly maid was right outside the door, she ignored you and held onto Nora who was posing as you.

For the first time, you were the nobody and it felt liberating.

You realized you hadn't even gotten to say a proper goodbye to Nora but before you could turn around, she was being entered with the guards to the main hall.

You turned back, heaving out a big breath of relief.

You held your cloak tightly in one hand and your bag in the other.

You walked forward, not looking up but not consistently looking down to not look suspicious.

The gates were wide open as the guests poured in for your celebration and wedding.

You merged into the crowd and with a few bumps here and there, you were out of the castle.

Despite being the princess, you had never quite seen the town of Anthropos since you were mostly locked away in the castle.

It was truly a sight, some people were chitchatting, some were shopping at the town market, it made you smile warmly.

You couldn't keep staring and standing for long since you realized you still weren't in the clear.

Hiding in town would make you an easy target for the castle guards to retrieve.

You were going to leave the town as well and run far far away to the forest.

From the castle balcony, the forest looked closer than you thought but you had to run a lot more to enter the forest.

You began a brisk walk until you were in the outskirts of the town.

Now, there was no turning back.

You kept walking, maybe running a little too until you were right outside the forest.

The tall trees and the birds chirping looked inviting yet frightening.

You couldn't believe you were actually going to do this.

----------------------------------

An hour later and you were deep into the forest.

You knew that you were still in the outskirts as you could still see the top of the castle dome.

You couldn't believe this was supposed to be a forbidden forest when all there was were beautiful flowers, magnificent falls and amazing animals.

It was finally settling in that this was a good idea indeed.

You still actively worried about Nora.

What was she doing now?

Had they figured it out?

Were they coming to find you?

You were refilling your water under the falls when you heard a low growl.

You dropped your water when you flinched at the sound and now, the bottle was with the fall as you saw it drift away from you but that wasn't your main worry.

Your main worry was that sound you heard before.

You turned around, holding onto your bag tightly.

"H-Hello, is anyone there?" you called out.

The eerie silence took over for a second before a wolf jolted in your direction almost getting ahold of your cloak.

It managed to scratch a piece out but you still managed to run.

You ran and ran until you couldn't anymore and with no end in sight, the wolf only got nearer.

You still persevered and continued running until you tripped on a broken bark making you fall.

You didn't have enough time to collect yourself as the wolf advanced towards you.

Even running didn't seem like an option now.

You were petrified and you were pretty sure this was the end.

You closed your eyes shut as the wolf was practically on you...until you heard the wolf halt and whimper instead.

You opened your eyes to see the wolf looking behind you and just like that, he left you alone and walked the other way.

You turned around to see what it was gazing at.

Your eyes widened as this time, you saw seven wolves nearing you.

You started moving the other way until they turned into humans.

They turned into humans? Wait what!

Wolves? Humans?

You couldn't believe what you had witnessed and from a mix of being overwhelmed and dehydrated, you fainted.

"What the-", Jimin neared your fainted body. His eyes went wide.

"Isn't this the-", Jin joined Jimin.

"I-its the princess!", Hoseok gasped.

"What should we do?", Yoongi asked scratching his head.

"I think I got the perfect idea", Jungkook smirked.

He was set out on getting his revenge but instead, his revenge had made its way to him and there was no way he was letting go of it that easy.
