- Need you here by I DON'T KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME

You crashed down in front of the Lady Bone Demon and the so called 'Mayor,' your mind filled with nothing but thoughts of how much you wanted both of them gone. You didn't bother to take in your surroundings, solely focused on the two who caused this destruction. You clenched your hands into fists, your knuckles turning white. You glared heatedly at the two, mainly at the Lady Bone Demon. Her back was turned to you. Your eyes glanced up at the giant white mech that towered menacingly behind them. It sent a chill down your spine, which you felt LDB, and the 'Mayor' noticed. At first, she turned her body towards you with a calm stance, a knowing smile across her face, as if she sensed you coming.

"Ah, your timing couldn't be more perfect, Sun Wuko-" She then paused suddenly, her knowing face forming into a skeptic and alert frown. "You.. You aren't Sun Wukong. This isn't right." You narrowed her eyes to her, keeping your guard up. You were confused at her change in attitude. Almost as if she didn't expect you, expecting Sun Wukong instead. "It does not matter." LDB huffed, returning to her calm demeanor. "Destiny cannot be changed. Fate cannot be undone." You rolled your eyes, getting into a defensive stance. You watched LDB scowl slightly, turning her back to you and gazing at the giant mech. "Allow me to solve this matter, my lady?" The mayor bowed towards her, watching her give him a swift nod without glancing at him. You could sense she wasn't happy. Not that you cared. You thought coming in unexpected could be an advantage to you.

The mayor suddenly rushed towards you, punching you square in the stomach and sending you flying into the ground. You winced, the strength of the punch causing a crater to dent the floor. You quickly shot up as you watched the mayor prepare to throw another punch, gripping the chains on your belt and causing them to extend, coiling around him. You swung him into the air, following with your star mount and throwing a punch to his abdomen. He was falling to the floor fast, a pained look on his face before smiling psychotically as at you, teleporting away before he hit the ground.

You both went back and forth. You sent him flying on multiple occasions, but he managed to recover quickly and dodge your attacks. His speed and durability started to worry you as you began to grow tired. He took this to his advantage and began to send his own punches and kicks your way. You did your best to block them, but he managed to hit you a few times. You used the rest of your strength to punch him in the throat, stunning him for a few seconds. You used the short amount of time to kick him in the stomach towards the floor. He crashed into the ground, and you flew down and wrapped his body fully in your chains to restrain him from getting back up.

You stood over the body of the Mayor, panting exhaustedly as sweat dripped down your face. Your victory wasn't long lived before you felt your wrist being bound by blue glowing chains and them being pulled down to the ground. Because of your current weary body, you didn't have the strength to escape, and only thrashed and struggled the best you could. More chains snaked around your arms, legs, neck and torso, ensnaring you and keeping you trapped. The Mayor had stood up and limped with a wide insane grin towards LDB, who stared at you with a sneer. She looked furious, a stark contrast to her all-knowing calm smile. It admittingly made you flinch before the chains wrapped tighter around you. You struggled to breath from the chains around your neck tightening your windpipes.

"You dare intervene with my vision. No one can change destiny," She held her arms behind her back, slowly walking towards you with her cold glare. "Especially someone like you. You shouldn't even be here in the first place. Yet you challenge the inevitable?" You tried not to show your fear, not wanting to give her the satisfaction. You continued to struggle and stared straight into her eyes while occasionally glancing at the chains. You glared back at her though not as fierce as she glared back at you, which only caused you to feel more helpless. You tensed when she suddenly leaned down, her face close to yours.

"You are a pathetic excuse of a legend."

A golden light then blinded your vision, causing you to let out a startled noise and you felt yourself suddenly free from the chains. You felt yourself being thrown backwards and hitting the ground. You grunted, your ears ringing loudly. You could faintly hear someone yell out your name, and felt hands help you sit up and lean against someone's side. You opened your eyes to see Nezha, looking down at you with a frown of concern. You chuckled lightly, wrapping your arm around his shoulder, your tails coiling around his waist for further support.

"Thanks," you weakly muttered, trembling in exhaustion. You caught a glance of MK, looking at you worryingly. You just sent him a thumbs up with a weak smile, silently trying to reassure him you were fine. He didn't look fully convinced but sent a small nod your way before looking forward. Nezha continued to support you, while taking glances at the fight now happening between LDB and Monkey King. They had taken to the sky, mainly Monkey Kind throwing blows at LDB, who either countered or dodged them.

"So, this is the power of the Lady Bone Demon. I'd heard tales, but I've never experienced it first hand. Even from here, I can feel her wretched aura."

Nezha grimly spoke, MK agreeing with him. You watched him look in worry at the sparks of gold and blue light in the air. You knew he was deeply worried about his mentor.

"I fear Monkey King was right. The Samadhi Fire's the best chance we have at stopping her. The fool never should've taken off on his own."

You gently elbowed Nezha's side, frowning at him when he looked at you in confusion and nudging your head in the direction of MK. Nezha glanced at the young male as he watched the fight anxiously, sighing as he straightened his posture.

"Let's make this quick. Get in, get Monkey King, and regroup with the others."

"Wait!" Mk blurted out, her face showing an expression of confliction and slight fear. His voice softened, "what if... what if Monkey King is better off without us? What if we just get in his way?"

"I've known Sun Wukong a long time. He is not the loner he pretends to be." Nezha put his hand on MK's shoulder. "He seems important to you, so I can only assume you're equally as important to him. If there's anyone who he needs right now, it's you."

"Get in, get Monkey King, get out." Mk muttered, becoming more confident of the plan as he gave Nezha a determined look.

"That's right." Nezha smiled, his expression softened.

"Aww!" You softly cooed, your tails bending to form the shape of a heart as you watched Nezha reassure MK. He even seemed to crack the usual cold expression he always seemed to carry around everyone. You were one of the only people he willingly let himself be more vulnerable with. And it looked like MK was just added to that list. Nezha had sent you a light glare at you, making you chuckle.

"What about Y/N?"

MK suddenly asked, eyeing your bruised and battered body. You let out an 'oh,' dismissively waving your hand towards him.

"I'll be fine, don't worry 'bout me. I can still fight."

Nezha gave you a harsh look while MK looked concerned about the idea of you fighting while you were hurt. You were practically limping.

"It's best if you leave somewhere safe. The Celestial Realm is a perfect place to rest for the time being-"

"I'm not leaving Wukong."

You sharply cut him off which caused him to let out a sigh at your stubbornness.

"Then stay close."

You nodded, following behind the two closely as you approached the chaotic fight. As you all proceeded forward, Nezha and MK stayed close to your sides to help you walk.

"Huh?" MK muttered, noticing a large crater in front of you all. In the middle lay the Mayor, defeated and exhausted. You glared down at his twitching body with Nezha. "Hey, that's the guy who's definitely probably not actually a real mayor."

"Get down!"

Nezha pulled you against him as something came barreling towards you all, leaping to the side as you let out a strangled yelp.

"Was that Monkey King?!"

MK shrieked, crawling out of the crater the Mayor was in and now had his arm slung over MK's shoulder's as he carried him out.

"Yes," Nezha glanced back, watching MK carry the Mayor out in confusion. He paused for a moment, before looked back at the fight between Monkey King and LDB. You kept your eyes on the Mayor, prepared to protect MK if he ever decided to strike unexpectedly. "He has the Lady Bone Demon on the defensive."

At his statement, MK ignorantly dropped the Mayor on the floor, standing next to you and Nezha and cupping his hands around his eyes. "Huh? Wait, you can actually see what's going on?"

"Yes. Well, pieces of it. That... speed. Sun Wukong really was pulling his punches with me." Nezha muttered in amazement, his eyes following the sparks of blue and golden sparks. You noticed his grip on you tighten.

"Yeah, yeah, that's great. But is he winning!? Maybe we don't need to stop him after all."

"It would appear so. But..."

"Let's not assume anything just yet."

You spoke, looking up at the battle. LDB and Monkey were moving so fast, it looked like fireworks. You had faith in Wukong. He was much stronger than he showed everyone. These were one of the times he showed his true speed and strength. You watched with batted breath as the sparks suddenly stopped.

"What happened? Where are they?"

MK frantically asked, his eyes searching for his mentor. You only continued to stare up at the sky for any evidence of Wukong. Moments later everyone looked back to see the Mayor twitching uncontrollably, the sound of bones popping loudly deeply unsettling you and sending shivers up and down your spine. You don't think you'll ever forget that sound. Or the scene of his power being forcefully pulled from him. The blue mist soaring through the air and going directly to the head of the giant mech towering above you all. A blue ball of light suddenly blinded you, causing you to cover your eyes.

You were momentarily stunned, looking at the ground and rubbing your eyes until your vision cleared. You saw the rocks and pebbles on the ground begin to rise and heard the laughter of the Lady Bone demon. Her manic cackles echoed in your ears as you raised your head and saw Wukong standing in front of the moon. His skin looked paler, his clothing becoming more discolored. He slowly turned around and opened his now blue glowing eyes. Your blood ran cold, your heart stopping as you realized what happened. No. There was no way he-

"Admittedly, this is an unforeseen adjustment, but a fortunate moment of spontaneity nonetheless. Fate has delivered me the perfect champion."

The Lady Bone Demon's voice broke through the tense silence, looking down at all of you. Your ears fell deaf to MK's outburst and LDB's response, your eyes locked on Wukong. The last thing you heard from her was a quiet demanding whisper that was addressed to Wukong.

"Go. Do what you must."

Your gaze snapped up to Wukong and noticed his cold glowing stare towards you. You didn't have enough time to prepare yourself as he launched towards you. Nezha tried to hide you behind him, but Wukong only shoved him away. You leaped back, wincing at you hit the ground. You looked at Wukong with an expression only described as true fear and horror. You didn't even register MK calling out your name as a sudden scream escaped you when a glowing icy blue spike drove straight through your chest. Tears fell out of your eyes as your breathing slowed suddenly, catching one last of Wukong charging to strike at MK before you closed your eyes and let out one last breath.
