Tom's pov

I walked into the classroom and saw her sitting alone at one of the front tables. The room was half empty and my "friends" are not there yet. I walked over there and sat in the chair next to her.

"Good morning! "

"We'll see about that"

"Why you are so grumpy O'lone? Is something wrong? "

"Why you sat next to me, Riddle? "

"You didn't want any of the annoying Hufflepuffs or Grffindors sitting next to you, so I took the chance. "

She didn't say anything and broke the eye contact, looking at the wall in front of her.

"And I know that you didn't want your new "friends" to sit here, either..."

She stayed in silence and continue to look at the wall.

"I know they are not he best, but they are really good"

"I didn't know you had friends.. "

"Oh, look who decided to look at us!"

  She made a face and rolled her eyes.

"I don't. I don't need "friends" "

I said saying the last word with pity and venom in my voice.

"I only have followers..."

She looked at me with a confused look decorating her face.

"And I'm pretty sure that you know exactly what I mean"

  Freyja opened her mouth to talk but the voice of the professor starting the lecture interrupted her.

Freyja's pov

I started walking to my next class with Riddle trying to keep up with my fast walking.

"Can you just slow down?? You walk very fast and I'm not in the mood of running at 9 in the morning!!"

I rolled my eyes, annoyed at him and stopped so we can walk together.

"What class do you have now?"

"Transfiguration. You?"

"Muggle studies"

"oh"

"what? "

"I thought you hated muggles. I didn't knew you would like a muggle lesson, O'lone. "

"If you want power over something, you need to learn about it "

"Wow"

"What, now? "

"Im just surprised "

"Why?"

"I didn't knew about that part of you"

"That part is part of a big chapter of my life..."

"Really? What chapter?"

"A chapter that you are not going to learn about"

"And why is that? "

"I don't want to. And you tried to enter my mind again..."

"It didn't work"

"obviously! "

"Why you don't the tell the world about that chapter"

"You didn't showed up in potions," I said and sat next to my tall and dark-haired friend at the table.

"Had some business to take care of "

"Interesting... Where are your followers"

"They are coming right now"

The group of friends walked into the Great Hall and sat in front of us.

  They started talking but I wasn't paying any attention. The only thing I could focus on was the sixth year Ravenclaw girl. She attended beauxbatons, as I did. She is the only one that knows and it should stay that way...

"You are staring at her."

"Huh?"

"The girl you were talking in the hallway this morning"

" Speak more quietly! I don't want anybody to listen! "

"What's her name? "

"Evelyn"

"She came here this year. Few weeks before you."

"I know..."

"I know that you know. But what does she knows?"

"Something that she wasn't supposed to learn in the first place..."

Suddenly, I made eye contact with the girl for a hot second. She randomly got up and left.

  I started eating my food when I saw Riddle leaving.

"Where are you going??"

He didn't answer my question and just made his way out.

Tom's pov.

I walked out of the great Hall following Evelyn. I turned around the corner when I saw her making out with someone. A few seconds later, I realized that she was snogging Abraxas.

"Oh Merlin! "

I walked over to them trying to make as much noise as I could. Fortunately, they heard me and stopped. Then, they both turned their heads in my direction, trying to figure out who made the noise.

"You could get a room, at least!!"

The girl saw me and immediately left.

"Really? In the middle of the hallway?? I didn't even know you dated girls from other houses."

"She's cute"

"Whatever, I don't have time to deal with you"

I left Abraxas alone and tried to find the girl. I looked everywhere but she was nowhere to be seen. When I was thinking of giving up, I saw her Entering the girl's lavatory.

There you are...

"Hello Evelyn"

"Oh, um hi"

"Are you okay? "

"Yeah"

"May I ask you some questions? "

"Yes, of course"

"What do you know about Freyja? "

  Her looked revealed that she was scared.

"Its okay. You can tell me "

I placed my hand on her shoulder and wore my most charming smile, trying to convince her to tell me.

She wasn't talking. She was just looking at the wall.

I have history of magic in ten minutes, so please hurry.

Alright, you are not talking and I don't have a lot of time...

So I looked in her mind...

"It's okay if you don't want to tell me. I don't want to pressure you. "

She didn't even realise I broke in her mind.

She continued starring at the wall so I just left.

  After a couple of minutes, I was outside the classroom. Thankfully, the lesson hasn't started yet. I sat on my seat, behind Freyja. I took a small piece of paper and wrote a note to her.

"Meet me after dinner in the black lake"

I passed it to her and when she read it, she nodded.
