Angelica's POV

"Grab my kit, inside my closet." I quickly barged into her room and searched through her closet, I found it and I noticed her laptop was open and there was a document open. I suddenly remembered what Mr. Lee told me, but I snapped out of it and brought it to Angelique.

"Don't worry, you'll be fine." I calmly said to him and he stopped whining as soon as I brushed his fur. After a dreadful minute, it came out fast and easy. She cleaned his paws and put a bandage around them.

"Next time, be careful. Okay?" Angelique pats his head and we don't proceed to pressure him more.

"Come here, I'm sure you are hurt." I hugged him, carefully avoiding his paws.

"I'm sorry if I didn't tell you about it earlier." he fearfully barks at me and I just reassure him by kissing his forehead, when I kiss him he looks at me straight through my soul. I felt the same kind of look at him, his brown eyes sparkling, and kissed my cheeks. I chuckled at him and put him to sleep before I went to call Mr. Lee.

"Ah, Ms. Park, what can I do for you?" He asked cheerfully as if he had already forgotten what he was about to tell me.

"Well, I just noticed, you've been avoiding me ever since that incident in Hawaii."

"Oh..." his voice started to tremble and I asked him straight away.

"Where's the file that you said that you are about to send?" Mr. Lee gasped at me and he just hung it up.

"What's wrong with him nowadays? The last thing I knew was we were close and now... He seems distant, what has changed him?" I texted him nonstop and he didn't even reply to one of them.

"Hey, is there something wrong?" Angelique comes out of her room and sits on the stool near the tabletop with her laptop in her hands.

"It's... Nothing special, I just got kind of worried."

"Tell me if something is bothering you, okay?" I just nodded at her and went to my room to sleep, I woke up to someone clawing my clothes and I opened my eyes to see David and Nathan standing on my bed.

"What brought you here, David? Did Nicholas drop you off here?" he nods at me and licks my face excitingly.

"You don't know how much I've missed you, I'm tired of that man. I just want to run away from the house," he whines.

"Well, I'm glad to see that you are here." I pat his head and he seems foreign to Nathan.

"Who's this guy, by the way? Is he a new one?"

"Idiot, I'm Nathan."

"Oh? That's sick, man. I never knew you could go back into being a—" Nathan suddenly smacks him off the bed and I gasped at what he did.

"Nathan, tsk tsk tsk." I got disappointed with him for a little bit and picked David up.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" I cooed at David and gave Nathan a mean look, he snorted at me and left. I had an idea where I have to make most of my time on David and see if he was going to be jealous. I put the milk in David's bowl before I put it in Nathan's. He didn't give a reaction, okay, that didn't work.

"David, are you hungry?" I asked him, he nodded at me and I looked at him and he was about to answer when I said.

"Okay, I'm gonna cook a big one for you." I booped David's nose and Nathan started to get annoyed. He cocks his head at David and lowly snarls at him, I put big meat in David's bowl and a normal one at him. I think I'm being stupid, this is not good.

"Why do you have to be so irritating? Just because I smacked him, doesn't mean I'm bad. Did someone knock out your mind? Whatever you're doing is getting into me, you won, Angelica." Nathan stood and left, well, that didn't take a long time. Jeez, he's grumpy. Is he in his month?

"Hey— Hey, I'm sorry, okay? I was just trying to make you jealous, but I made you mad because I'm not being fair. He wasn't done talking when you smacked him off the bed, that's why I got a little disappointed." I explained to him, and he stopped in his tracks and looked at me with his eyes brimming with tears. I frowned at him and went to touch him when he avoided it, then he sat in the corner and stopped talking to me. It's afternoon now, I have to prepare myself for work and Nathan is still not moving. I got worried he might get hungrier, so I went into the bathroom and took a saddening bath.

"Why do I have to do that? Am I this idiot?" I banged my head against the wall lightly and kept thinking of a solution, but nothing came up.

"Angelica, did you scold Nathan?" Angelique shouts outside the door.

"No, I made him mad, I guess..." I trailed off, I've never seen him get mad at me and give me a silent treatment. I finished taking a bath and went out, he's still there. A guilty conscience built up inside me and I just left without saying goodbye to him. I entered the mall with a gloomy expression and Madison already noticed it.

"Is something the matter? Did that man from two nights ago come again and scare you off?" she worryingly asks, I just plastered a smile at her.

"No, of course not. I'm just sleepy, and what about you? I never see you coming out of work except when it's break time." Madison widely smiles at me and I already know it.

"Okay, who's your crush this time?" she just widely smiles at me, and her eyes are fluttering in joy.

"You're starting to weird me out now, tell me, who's your crush?" she shook her head.

"No, you guess who's my crush." Madison challenged me and I'm bad at guessing the name.

"Uh, Nicholas?"

"What? No, I don't like that guy at all. Again."

"The CEO?" I never mentioned his name because he's a sore in my eyes every time I see and my ears start to ring whenever I hear him talk or someone calls out his name.

"Duh, he's not my type for the very least. Do you even remember the guy who kissed my hand when we were in the venue?" I remembered his face, but not his name. I gave her a weird look because I forgot his name already.

"I do remember him, but who is he anyway?" I asked her, and she scoffed at me and she answered.

"Don't you remember him? It's Alexander!" my eyes widen in shock when I remember him fully, my mouth hangs ajar and only three words come out of my mouth.

"Oh my gosh."
