Angelica's POV

Jonathan and I couldn't move from the embarrassment. As everyone takes a picture of us, I suddenly sit up and my face heats up then Madison grabs me by the shoulder.

"Angie, are you okay?"

"Huh? Y-yeah..." I trailed off and left the scene with an embarrassment marked in my mind, she followed me out of the venue.

"Wait, isn't that your first kiss?" I hushed Madison by covering her mouth with my hands.

"Yes, dammit, don't be too noisy because if someone heard about it, I'm gonna drown myself in embarrassment and suffocate from questions," I whispered at her as I grabbed her with my hands and into the car.

"Are you guys going home now?" A guy stopped us and we faced him.

"Oh, Sir Nicholas. Yes, unfortunately, Angelica is drunk." Madison elbowed me discreetly, and I just nodded like a drunk person.

"Ah, that's why her face is so red. Did something happen by the way?" He pointed up and we saw people looking at us.

"Of course not, sir. They're just having fun and Angelica here says she's going home, maybe they are sad because we're leaving early." Madison pointed out.

"Hmm." Nicholas looks at me warily and I walk at him, feigning drunk.

"Sir." My voice was in a pitchy tone and I tapped his face hard.

"Gosh, bring her home. She might cause a ruckus."

"Yes, sir." Madison gets me in the car and as soon as Nicholas gets inside I stop faking myself being drunk.

"What a blast." I sighed deeply in frustration, the trip is only filled with music but neither of us is talking. When we arrived at my house, I saw someone standing on my porch.

"Who's that?" I just shook my head.

"Just continue driving, let's see if he'll be gone after we drive around the street." We drive right and when we get to my house again the person is still standing on my porch, then we drive left. After driving around, the person was gone and I told her to stop at the other house so we would not get suspected.

"I guess he's gone now," Madison says. I stepped out of the car and we both said our goodbyes and she hit the pedal.

"I'm home with my embarrassment and I hope he's home, it's a full moon." I looked at the moon and sighed again, I can't do anything to go back in time and correct it. As soon as I stand on my porch, I feel tired, I slowly open the door and hit the lights.

"Just a normal night, I guess." I sat on the couch and fell asleep right away from the exhaustion, I woke up from the creaking sound of a door opening. A silhouette of a dog walking toward me.

"Nathan? Is that you?" I sit up and gesture for him to sit down.

"Did you wait?" he asked.

"I guess so, I thought you weren't coming. I also heard your voice message, how did you manage to record it?" My voice is cracking

"I have these cute tiny paws as you said..." Nathan puts it on my hand, I chuckled and stood to stretch.

"Did you eat?"

"No." I carried him to the kitchen and he didn't whine at all.

"Ha, you're quite heavy." I put him down on the floor and kissed his head.

"What— what did you just do?" Nathan's brows furrowed.

"I'm just happy you're back, I don't like it when someone breaks their promises. Because it breaks my heart." I happily ruffled his head and opened the cabinet below the tabletop. I grabbed his bowl and washed it before fetching some milk from the fridge.

"Isn't that the same one I had long ago?" Nathan asked.

"Silly, no, I change it weekly because my sister... kinda drinks it all and sometimes puts a lot on her cereals, so I'm kind of thankful for that." I sweetly smiled at him.

"Stop being weird," he says. I sighed again and sat beside him.

"Why do you keep sighing? Did you lose your job?" Nathan asked out of the blue.

"Huh? No, it's just..." I turned my head at him and became serious.

"What? What's with that look?" Nathan avoids looking at me.

"Did you have your first kiss?"

"What's with that question? Are you going crazy? Do you think I'm a human to you?"

"Oh, yeah... Sorry," I held Nathan's head before kissing his forehead again, he shook his head and started whining.

"Why do you always have to do that? Am I a pet to you? Am I a human? Huh?" His whining got louder and I shushed him.

"Remember when I told you and David about your whining?" Nathan stops immediately and I nod.

"Yep, just as what will happen right now." A loud knock bangs at the door and I run at it.

"Can you please shut that damn dog?" The man immediately stops when his eyes widen behind me, I look at it and see that Nathan is sitting in the living room.

"Honey, it's just a dog, why do you have to bother her all the time?" She asks, he doesn't answer but he widely opens the door to point out Nathan. She gasps quietly when she spots him, they looked at each other and I asked them.

"Do you guys happen to know who Nathan is?" They looked at me and they blinked before answering.

"N-no, I-it's just... it's our f-first time seeing that k-kind of the breed." They stuttered to answer me.

"Oh..." I trailed off, trying to search for my own words, and he started barking at us.

"Tell them I'm a wolf-dog," I agreed with Nathan's statement.

"He-he's a wolf-dog, I just found him wandering back then. He's now domesticated, don't worry." They just nod and walk out whispering at each other, I closed the door and just sighed again.

"Stop sighing, what happened?" Nathan questioned.

"Well, something happened at the venue earlier." I sat beside him and continued.

"Remember what I asked you before? About the first kiss thing?" Nathan nods quietly.

"Well, it's my first kiss. I mean yeah, his lips are soft and all but—" I stopped mid-sentence when I remembered that scene, I blushed all of a sudden and slapped myself.

"Why did I think that? Huh? What's wrong with me?" I ruffled my hair from the embarrassment again and when I looked at him his expression was just clueless.

"Oh, sorry..." I looked down and saw that I was still in this dress, remembering an embarrassing moment again.

"Why are you wearing that when you're in the 21st century?" Nathan asked.

"It's... from the venue and that embarrassment," I sighed yet again and went to my room to change.
