Jonathan's POV

I woke up and saw that I was in a moving car and Madeleine was sitting in the front.

"Good afternoon, freak," she hisses.

"It's too early for you to say that."

"Yeah, and because of your stupid action, one of your employees is scared of how careless you acted." Then it hits me, Angelica getting scared of me for the first time.

"And I gave her the wallet."

"What? Why would you give it to her?" my head is aching from Madeleine's hit.

"It's because she's the owner!"

"No! It's from Monicaβ€”"

"Monica's long dead, brother!" She shouts.

"Your girlfriend's been dead for the last 100 years, John. It saddens me that that woman died because of you and Alexander's stupid blood war! The both of you were best friends! She's an innocent girl. How could you dare to involve her?" I looked out the window, and Madeleine started to tear up as a brush of memories played.

γ€– 100 years ago.. 1915 γ€—

Alexander's pack and mine are gathered around Monica's house to protect her from getting abducted by him.

"You'll no longer trespass our lives and let Monica live her life," I warn him, and he barks back.

"Doesn't mean she gave you her love doesn't mean she can live with you for the rest of your lives," he growls, and I sprint to scratch his eye, his blood gushes out of his sight, and he whines and bites his chest viciously. He drops to the floor and breathes heavily as more blood comes out. The other wolves tear their limbs apart, and another wolf barks loudly.

"Enough!" Madeleine says.

"Both of you will get nothing because Monica is dying," she says, her pose still. Everyone stays quiet, and I quickly duck out of the fight and transform before entering the room.

"Monica, stay awake okay?" I lift her head with my hands slowly, she looks at me with a smile plastered on her face, but her eyes are in a grimace.

"Jonathan, whatever may happen... please don't fight it out because of you guys" she cups her hand at my cheeks, and tears escape from her eyes.

"I love you, Jonathan, goodbye." her hands slowly slip away as her head droops at my hands.

γ€–Now... 2015γ€—

I never even got the chance to say how much I love her. Monica's always there in my heart. No one can replace the love she gave me, and I still have her locket, and the car stops at a familiar place.

"Where are we?" I asked Madeleine.

"Probably back at Beon-Yeong."

"Wait, why are we here again?"

"You have a job to do. I just came here to say hi and saw that you made some trouble," Madeleine raises her phone at me and sees that there's already news about me creating a scandal.

"Shit."

"Merry Christmas, John," she smirks at me as she leaves the car, and various reporters come knocking at my door.

"Please give us a statement on why you did that?" A reporter asked and showed a photograph of me punching the wall beside Angelica's face.

"Did she do something that made you end up getting angry?" I just kept a stern expression even though I am mentally exhaling.

ANGELICA'S POV

I ruffled my hair in frustration when reporters left after hearing that the CEO was there. I messed up in real-time. I sit at a nearby stool with my butcher knife as my coworkers annoy me with their questions.

"Are you guys a couple?" One of the chefs asked.

"Wow, you hit the jackpot. Tell me, how much did Jonathan pay you?" The Sous Chef added, which struck a nerve.

"Did you guysβ€”?" I've had enough, and I smash the butcher knife on the chopping board. The board cracked in half, and all of them went silent.

"I am not his girlfriend, do you understand me?" I asked them.

"Y-yes, chef," they all said in unison.

"Louder!"

"Yes, chef!"

"Now go back to work before you crack in half like this chopping board!" They went back to their workplaces, and all of them were dead silent. Even the people eating at the restaurant heard our conversation. I looked them dead in the eye, and they went back to eating as if nothing had happened.

"Now, where did my wallet go?" I search for it, and it's at the top of the fridge. I tap one of my new crew and ask if he could reach it. He nods, and the wallet falls open. He looks at the photo, and his eyes go wide.

"M-ma'am?" he gulps at the photo.

"What now?" I hissed at him.

"Who's in this photo?" he shows it to me.

"Oh, that's me when I was sixteen. That was taken ten years ago, in 2005. Why?" My staff member nervously chuckles at me.

"O-oh, uh, nothing. You lookβ€” you look lovely in this photo, ma'am. Here" The new crew shoves it in the wallet and gives it to me forcefully. What's wrong with this crew? They kept getting surprised at my photo. Is that how beautiful I am? I flip my hair to the other side, and someone smacks the back of my head.

"Ow, that hurts." I turned around and saw that it was Madeleine.

"Everyone, out. Except you." Madeleine points at me, and everyone quietly walks out.

"Hello, Madeleine? What is it this time?" I ask nervously again.

"The wallet," she eyed it.

"What is wrong with my wallet and the photo in it?" I pull the photo out and give it to her; she gasps when she finally sees it.

"I-impossible" she takes a step back and looks at me.

"What?"

"Why is-- why is Monica in there?" she asked me.

"Who the hell is Monica?" she looks at me with her eyes watering.

"It is true, the reincarnation. At first, I didn't believe it. But now, I truly believe it." Madeleine starts squealing and hugs me tightly. Seriously, what's wrong with these people?

Alexander's POV

I'm enjoying the night breeze when a call suddenly starts.

"What?" I asked angrily.

"Boss, you won't believe what I'll say."

"What the hell is it now?"

"Monica, she's alive and grown. She's here." my eyes widened.

"W-what did you say? Repeat it."

"Monica! She's alive!" I stood up from my seat and ended the call, Monica, and you're back. Perfect timing. You'll be mine as always. It's time for me to take you back because you are mine, and you will be forever mine. I walked to my desk and opened the drawer; behind the files was an unopened album of Monica.
