"Shufu brought back several feral zombies today. He locked them up in the Obscure Room for me to inquire."

"Eep, even Lan Er-Gongzi here too?!" Wei WuHui whimpered as she curled up even more when hearing the sound of Lan WangJi's voice from the other side of a large boulder.

"How did they get out?" Lan XiChen asked, brows furrowed.

"All of us don't have our weapons. This spells trouble." Wei WuXian stated.

Then, the sound of water splashing before wet feet walked on the rocky platform. "Wei WuXian, return my robes."

"Here, WuHui. You can put this on for the time being." Lan XiChen said as he offered his robes to the girl, face turned away respectfully.

Wei WuHui hurriedly grabbed the offered robes and put them on her. Minding that it was large on her smaller frame but was relieved that she was covered up.

Still flustered, she turned to boys with stern eyes. "Let's go."

The remaining two charged toward Lan XiChen as he back-stepped before flipping over one zombie and kicking it at its back.

"Lan Er-Gongzi! Here's your Guqin!" The said instrument was thrown into the air as Lan WangJi looked up at it before leaping up and grabbing it. He hovered over the zombies before unleashing a powerful wave down at the zombies, blasting them away.

Lan WangJi landed back down on the ground as Jiang Cheng caught up with him and Lan XiChen. "Where's Wei WuXian and WuHui?"

"They got separated from us during the chase." Lan XiChen replied but just as Nie MingJian arrived to the scene, she noticed how concerned the eldest brother is by the look of his eyes as well as his hands clutching on his robes tightly.

Nie MingJian frowned worriedly before looking up at the moon. 'You better be alright, A-Yang'

Wei WuXian and Wei WuHui zoomed through the forest with three feral zombies right on their tails. As the twins attempted to lose them, one of the zombies tried to block them but Wei WuXian effortlessly front-flip over the zombie, using its head as a leaping board and knocking it down at the same time.

Unfortunately, he was unable to fully disable the zombie as it still got up with no signs of being weakened.

Wei WuHui panted as she evaded the zombies' claws on the ground, zigzagging just to avoid their claws as her brother landed back down and went to break a branch from a tree and skilfully throw it toward another zombie, striking it in the face.

Both twins panted as they paused to catch their breaths before Wei WuHui charged forward and punched one zombie. Sending it flying back.

Another came right after and Wei WuHui quickly dodged it to the side, grabbing its arm in the process and kicked it up at the chin, back-flipping in the process.

However, no matter how much they punch, kick and hit them, all three zombies eventually came back standing with no signs of being weakened as they slowly staggered toward the twins.

"This is endless." Wei WuXian panted.

The twins watched in anticipation as the zombies began charging toward them, all growling and snarling.

Sweats dripping from her forehead as Wei WuHui gritted through her teeth.

"We are screwed."
