"Eunha, we're out to visit Jungkook, are you coming?" Yerin-unnie whispered outside my door.

My ears perked up at that, knowing that there's a possibility that I'll be seeing Jungkook again.

But as fast as I perked up, I drooped almost immediately.

It's not like we're friends anymore.

I sigh, then reply, "I'm not going."

But in truth, I really wanted to.

"Jin-oppa said that Jungkook really wanted to talk to you." Yerin-unnie tries to persuade me.

I weigh the pros and cons.

What would happen if I just try and visit him?

Nothing bad right?

I allow myself to give in. "Alright, fine. Wait for me!"

When we arrived at the hospital though, the oppas were already outside their maknae's room.

I raise an eyebrow at them, curious as to why they left the room if their maknae needs them.

Jin-oppa sees me, then shrugs.

Yerin-unnie nudges me, then leans down to whisper, "Jungkook said he wanted to talk to you, privately."

She winks at me, and I suddenly want to slap her.

This unnie...her dirty mind isn't helping. I sigh, then enter the room.

I didn't expect to see what I saw.

Jungkook was worse than me.

He was pale, lips cracked, eyebags in under his eyes. He was breathing just fine, but he had to use a nebulizer.

But the part that shocked me the most was the ring on his finger.

Our friendship ring.

I thought he threw that out when I left BigHit.

Turns out, I was wrong yet again.

Jungkook looked at me with guilt in his eyes.

I could feel my heart break right then.

I wasn't prepared for his first words to me after 4 years of not talking to each other.

"I'm glad that it was me this time."

"The shimmering starlight shines, but you.
Where are you looking at?"
