Dax was sat out on his roof staring up at the sky. It was a full moon. Dax looked at the ground with his eyes glowing bright yellow. It was the last night he would officially be out before summer. Dax pulled out his phone to see that it wasn't working. It was stormy, but not raining yet. Dax looked up slightly confused to see that lightning was striking near his house. Dax jumped off of his very large two-story house just in time for lightning to strike on the roof. Thankfully, it didn't start a fire.

Dax was confused as he hadn't seen lightning strike a house since Alyssia spelled a storm to hit Dax's room after he rejected her. Dax's eyes snapped up when he thought he heard a scream. He couldn't move for a second before he had to blink himself out of it.

He looked around confused with a deep breath before heading back inside.

Dax was walking in the rain. Granted, most people would call him an idiot since he was nearly hit by lightning and humans could get sick from it, but he wasn't human and he needed the breather. He had been staring at grimoire spells and what he could find on Malivore lore for the better part of four days without a break.

So when he heard Scott's roar and the sounds of a fight, he ran towards them. He arrived just in time to see claws digging into Scott, and Scott about to hit the ground. There was an extra beta but Dax didn't notice. Dax came just in time for Scott to grab the arm of the thing that had claws in him. As Scott stood up and pulled the claws out, Dax came up behind it and pressed a hand onto the thing's back.

"Nec motus," He said loudly and the beast froze in place. Scott broke its arm and pulled its claws from his chest.

"I don't know who you are, or what you thought you were gonna do, but I'll give you a choice," Scott said as he looked down at the beast frozen in place, "You can stay and I'll break something else, or you can run."

Dax smirked as he looked at the thing, "So what'll it be, Beasty? Run, or stay and get your ass kicked?"

"I'd run," Stiles offered.

Dax placed his hand on the beast's neck and he knew what he was going to pick, "Motus," Dax muttered. The beast held onto his hand and ran off from the group.

"Who's he?" Dax asked as he pointed with his thumb to the new beta he had seen that tried to help.

The beta smiled and took a step closer, "You don't remember me, do you? I guess I look a little different since the fourth grade."

"Theo?" Scott asked slightly alarmed. Theo smiled and nodded.

"You know him?" Malia asked.

"They used to," Theo clarified, "Trust me, I never thought I'd see you guys again. A couple of months ago I heard of an alpha in Beacon Hills. When I found out his name was Scott McCall, I just couldn't believe it... Not just an Alpha, but a True Alpha."

Scott nodded a bit, "What do you want?"

"I came back to Beacon Hills, back home with my family," Theo said, "Because I want to be a part of your pack."

Everyone looked on in disbelief at Theo until Stiles brought the attention back to Dax, "Who are you?"

"A friend," Dax answered with a small smile, "You guys will be seeing me around, trust me."

Dax began to walk off, and a small smile appeared on his face as he heard Stiles muttering about that not answering his question.

Dax smiled and waved at Liam and Mason as they walked into the history class. Liam looked at him like he were insane telling Dax that he recognized him from last night. Mason smiled a bit and returned the wave.

"He's kinda cute," Mason said quietly as he waved. Dax smirked with an amused scoff.

"No," Liam answered as he pointed a finger at Mason.

"Anyway, there's this whole section about the Nagual. Have you ever heard of the name Tez...cat..."

Liam looked in the book in Mason's hands, "Tezcatlipoca," He spit out as if it were common knowledge, "No. No, never heard of him," Liam assured him unconvincingly. Dax rolled his eyes with a soft smile. He forgot just how bad Liam was at lying.

"Take your seats, everyone," Mr. Yukimura spoke up. Liam looked to the seat next to him and verbally cringed. The girl looked at him with a smile and blew a bubble with her gum.

"Great," Liam said unhappily as he looked around. Liam looked around but there were no other open seats.

"Liam... you're not going to just stand there... Are you?" Mr. Yukimura asked.

"Maybe," Liam responded. His voice was slightly high pitched and it was obvious he did not want to sit next to the girl.

"The whole semester?" Mr Yukimura clarified.

"Maybe," Liam responded in the same high-pitched voice as he shrugged.

"Liam, have a seat," Mr. Yukimura said as he gestured to the seat Liam was standing next to. Liam lowered down into the seat slowly.

Dax snickered when he spotted the gum on Liam's pants and who he glared at.

Dax was at his locker when he felt a tug on his arm. He looked up with a raised eyebrow to see Scott looking at him with wide eyes, "Yes?"

"That usually works," Scott commented with his hands still on Dax's arm.

"You need something?" Dax asked with raised eyebrows as he stared at Scott's hand on his arm. Scott removed his hand and looked up to Dax.

"Come with me?"

"Why not," Dax shrugged and followed Scott into the locker room.

"What and who are you?" Stiles asked as he shut the door behind the Alpha and the Tribrid.

Dax smiled a bit thinking of the first time they had that conversation. Dax's smile was wiped off his face when he was reminded of why they were having it again, "You wouldn't believe me if I told you," Dax answered as he blinked away any tears before they could form in his eyes.

"Try us," Stiles scoffed.

"We've been through a lot. You'd be surprised at what we'd believe," Scott tried to assure Dax.

"If you're going to believe me, I'm going to have to show you," Dax said. He took a step forward and placed his hand on the back of Scott's neck as he invaded the Alpha's mind.

<><><><><><><><><><><><><>

"Why are you standing out there?" Stiles asked.

"Gonna need an invitation from the house owner," Dax answered, "Sorry I'm not uncivilized."

"Come in," A strawberry blonde said. Dax smiled and stepped inside. As soon as he did so her face fell as she stared at him incredulously.

Liam looked at Dax like a kicked puppy before turning to the five juniors across the room, "The hell is this?"

"Think of it as an intervention. You have a problem, Liam," Stiles said. Lydia continued to stare at him. She seemed horrified. Dax was confused because he hadn't done anything.

"And we're the only ones that can help," Scott added.

Dax felt something hot wrap around his neck and it began to strangle him slightly, "He said we shouldn't try, but now I got you, I got us thirty million dollars," Violet pulled harder on the wire. Dax yanked the wire from his neck and turned to the girl. She began to run, but Dax threw her against the wall using a nonverbal spell. He dropped to the floor next to Brett.

"What'd he do to you?" Dax asked.

"Wolfsbane," Brett coughed.

"Shit," Stiles cursed as he and Scott nearly tripped over the paramedic. Scott and Stiles looked at Dax with shocked faces.

"I think we need to call your dad," Scott said as he stared at Dax and Brett.

"He said they gave him wolfsbane. What do we do?" Dax asked.

"Deaton," Scott sighed.

"Okay, let's go."

"You need to stay here and make a statement," Scott said to Dax.

"I'm sure you can come up with something," Dax said as he lifted Brett like a baby doll.

"How is he doing that?" Stiles asked out of bewilderment as he stared at the 5'5" Dax holding the 6'2" Brett bridal style.

"Come on. We're going," Dax said as he walked Stiles back into the hall and towards the door.

"We're talking about this later!"

<><><><><><><><><><><><><>

"Dax stop!" Brett yelled as he and Stiles ran in. Dax's wolf form was on top of Scott and about to rip off the skull with his mouth, "That's Scott!"

Dax stopped to look back at Brett before getting hit off by Scott for the third time. The Berserker hit Liam as everyone was caught off guard.

"Scott don't!" Kira pleaded as she tried to get him to stop. Dax lunged at Scott again but was hit off of him. This time his back snapped which killed him. Brett looked on in horror as he stared at Dax's lifeless wolf body. He couldn't hear a heartbeat. He knew Dax was supposed to be immortal in some form, but he didn't know how exactly to kill him. Tears filled his eyes at the thought of losing him, and his eyes glowed bright yellow.

Stiles stepped up to try and stop Scott from going after Liam, "Scott don't. It's me," Stiles tried, but Berserker Scott hit him to the ground. Scott lifted Liam and hit him into a collum.

"Scott," Liam whimpered slightly. Liam grunted as Scott reached his hand back to tear into Liam, "Scott, Scott! Listen! Listen! Listen!" Liam panicked, "You're not a monster! You're a werewolf! Like me," Liam panted. Scott slowly lowered his hand and Liam before breaking out of the Berserker clothing.

Scott pulled off the ribcage and then pulled apart the skull causing a bright glow. He roared.

"That wolf... It was you?" Scott asked as Dax stepped away from him, "If you were there... for all of that... why can't I remember."

"Yeah, Scott, I was the wolf. And you can't remember me because of a friend of mine called Malivore. I dived into the pit to save my cousin. Doing so erased all memories of me, and until I can get them back, showing is the best solution I can come up with," Dax explained as he bit his lip, "I was really close with Liam and Mason. I don't know much about you guys."

"You weren't supposed to come back... were you?" Scott trailed off softly, but Dax didn't respond.

"That's all very convenient isn't it?" Stiles asked as he tilted his head and narrowed his eyes at Dax.

"Told you," Dax crossed his arms, "I was there all of last year... Even had a boyfriend, but no one, not even my family remembers I ever existed," Dax explained as he blinked away tears.

"How long have you been stuck like this?" Scott asked softly.

"All summer. I climbed my way out of the old remnants of a portal in July."

"Can we help you get the memories back?" Stiles asked slightly caught off guard by the way Dax was about to cry.

"I've been trying since I got here, but the only thing close I can find is my grandmother's memory wiping spell. I needed someone else who knows magic, but the only person I knew could help... he's gone," Dax admitted as his voice wavered.

"So let me get this straight," Stiles commented as he took a step closer to Dax, "We were all friends, but you jumped into a black pit and we all forgot you, so now your back to help us and try and get your memories back?"

"I could show you," Dax offered.

"I'm good," Stiles said as he placed his hands out in front of him as if to tell Dax to stop, "I was just making sure."
