"He's coming," Lydia said quietly.

"And we're going," Dax said as he carefully lifted Lydia.

"We're going to be fine, Lydia," Stiles assured her, "We are not leaving you here."

"You have too," Lydia said. Dax and Stiles looked back as they heard the card reader buz, "Go, please."

Dax pulled Stiles from the room. They ducked around a corner. Dax watched as Valick walked up to Lydia's room. Once he was there, he used his speed to get behind Valick and hit him in the back of the head. Valick fell to the floor unconscious.

"Did you kill him?" Stiles asked with wide eyes.

"Nah," Dax shook his head, "His heart is still beating."

"Someone's coming," Lydia said as the card reader buzzed.

"How many visitors does a banshee get in the closed unit of Eichen House?" Dax sighed out of exasperation. He pulled Stiles behind him and made sure to stand in front of Lydia and Stiles protectively.

"I can't believe this is a medical establishment," Theo muttered as he looked at Lydia. Corey, Josh, and Tracy stood behind him.

"Aw, four on one, that'd not fair... for you," Dax frowned sympathetically as he tilted his head.

"You don't have your magic, Dax," Theo responded, "However you're able to cross the mountain ash, it shuts those magical powers off, remember?"

"I wouldn't underestimate me," Dax smirked.

"What do you want with a banshee anyway?" Stiles asked from behind Dax.

"I don't want a banshee," Theo answered, "I'm looking for a hellhound," As if on cue a loud, animalistic roar came from the outside.

"Wonderful," Dax muttered as Parrish melted the cage-like door. He growled.

"What do we do?" Stiles whispered. Dax shrugged. He stayed in his spot as he watched Parrish, who was on fire, walk up to the chimeras.

"You know how coach always has you on defense when we play Devenford because there is nothing you can do against them?"

"Thanks for that Dax," Stiles tolled his eyes.

"We're going to do that."

Theo smirked at Parrish, "Back off, or I'll kill Lydia," Theo threatened. Dax smirked. He wanted to see the chimera try to get past him, "Take him."

"The guy's on fire!" Corey exclaimed.

"You'll heal. Do it!" Theo responded.

Tracy didn't hesitate. She ran up to him and shoved her claws into his abdomen. Parrish looked down at them, unaffected. He hit her back. Josh broke off a pipe that had some electrical wiring in it. He grabbed onto the wires and grabbed Parrish's should, but again, Parrish was unaffected.

"Theo, this isn't working!" Josh yelled. Parrish hit Josh into the wall, knocking him out. Parrish picked Josh up and slammed him into the ground. He raised his claws back to slice him, but Corey grabbed his hand and slowly appeared with a small smirk. He was proud of himself.

Parrish didn't seem pleased. Corey screamed as his arm lit on fire. Fire flew out of Parrish and he threw Corey back while he was still on fire. Corey went out as he flew back. Dax looked down at Corey wide-eyed. He felt bad for the kid.

Dax took the opportunity to knock Theo out. Parrish marched into Lydia's room with a growl, "Parrish, calm down," Dax said slightly panicked, "We," Dax pointed to himself and Stiles, "want to help her," Dax pointed to Lydia.

Parrish tilted his head but seemed to be convinced. Dax wanted to take Corey since he knew Mason liked him, but he didn't want to press his luck with the firey hell hound in front of him, "Corey, find Brett. He can help you," Dax said loudly as he carried Lydia out with Parrish and Stiles.

"The hell happened to him?" Brett asked with wide eyes as he looked at Corey. Corey was whimpering and covered in burns.

"He isn't healing. Dax said you could help," Josh answered as he looked back to Corey.

"You saw him? Is he okay?" Brett's eyes snapped to Josh's.

"He was taking Lydia out," Josh said. Brett let out a breath he had been holding since they separated, "Can you help him or not?" Josh asked impatiently.

Brett walked past Josh and kneeled in front of Corey. He looked at Corey's burns, "It's the pain. It's not allowing him to heal," Corey was taking quick and shallow breaths.

"Is he going to die?" Josh asked worriedly.

"If I don't help him," Brett said before he carefully took Corey's hand. His eyes widened and he groaned in pain as his veins in his hands turned black. Corey began to breathe at a more normal pace. His whimpering had quieted. Brett gasped as he let go of Corey.

"Take her," Dax said as he carefully handed Lydia over to Parrish, "I'll meet you guys at the rendezvous. Go before the brownout ends!" Stiles nodded. Dax was about to begin stripping when Parrish burned through the barrier. Dax looked at him with wide eyes. He shrugged as he followed them.

"Time to speed up, guys. She's getting worse," Stiles said as he looked to the banshee in Parish's arms.

"And if she screams, we're all screwed," Dax sighed as they picked up the pace.

It didn't take the supernatural entities and Stiles long to get to the morgue. Dax sighed in relief once he laid eyes on Brett. Dax wrapped him in a hug.

"Where's Malia and Kira?" Scott asked.

"I sent them out the front. Kira was about to cause a blackout," Brett explained.

"Let's get moving while we still can," Dax said as he ushered them all out. once they made it out.

"Can you stand?"Parrish asked. Lydia nodded. He carefully lowered her feet to the ground. He kept an arm around her waist and supported her as she stood next to him.

Kira and Malia pulled up in Stiles' jeep and hopped out, "Is she okay?"

"No, we need to go. Give me the keys. We need to get her to the clinic," Scott said as he took the keys from Kira. Parrish was shoved forward. There were claw marks on his back. Dax spun around to see Tracy holding up Lydia. Her claws were ready to go into her abdomen.

"Sorry, but she's coming with me," Tracy smiled.

"Magic time Dax," Stiles said as he looked at Tracy.

"Nope. Nuh-uh," Dax shook his head, "Doesn't work yet."

"Tracy, just wait. You don't know what's about to happen," Scott tried to warn her.

"I'm taking her, that's what's happening, and none of you are gonna do a thing-" Tracy was cut off by her own gasp as she fell to the ground. Dax used his speed to catch Lydia and support her. They all looked at Ms. Martin shocked.

"Could somebody please get my daughter out of this hellhole?" She asked as she held up one of the security guard's wattage sticks. They loaded Lydia into the car. Dax was about to get in with Scott and Stiles when Brett pulled him back.

"We're gonna catch a ride with someone else," Brett said as he shut the jeep door. Scott pulled off, "We already know that when Lydia screams, you can't move. What if her screams can kill you?" Brett asked. Dax didn't fight Brett on it, and the two made their way to the parking lot where they hopped into Mason's car.

"That's my food!" Dax complained as Brett grabbed it and pulled it into the back seat.

"I just want a piece," Brett smiled, "You don't even need food."

"I still want it," Dax pouted.

"Want a tater tot?" Mason offered as he held one up.

"I want my fries."

"Take your stupid fries," Brett said as he put them back in the front seat.

"Nah, I don't want them now," Dax shook his head as he ignored the fries.

"Really?" Brett sighed.

"Go ahead. Take them. They're yours now."

"I'll give them to Lori," Brett said as he grabbed the fries.

"Good. She deserves them more than you do."

"Thanks for the ride, Mason," Brett said as he got out of the car, "See you later, asshat."

"See you later, crested gecko!" Dax yelled as Brett walked up to his house. Dax laughed once Brett flipped him off.

"I was terrified that you two were about to start yelling," Mason admitted, "Why crested gecko?" Mason pulled out of Brett's driveway.

"They look like they have one brain cell jumping around in their head."

"Are you sure that doesn't describe you?"

"Oh, no, it describes both of us," Dax assured him, "I call radio!" He shouted as he connected his phone to Mason's car. Mason groaned and rolled his eyes, "Please, don't even act like you don't like One Direction," Dax scoffed as he turned on the song.

"You're insecure, don't know what for!"

"You're turning heads when you walk through the do-o-or!"

The two best friends continued singing their hearts out as Mason drove Dax home.

"He's headed to the school," Scott said from the front seat of Stiles' jeep as he looked down at his phone.

"Why is Parrish going to the school?" Liam asked.

"It's not Parrish. At least, not right now," Scott reminded Liam.

"Okay, why is the hellhound going to the school?" Liam reworded his question.

"Obviously, he wants a higher form of education," Dax shrugged, "Don't know why he's going to our school for that though."

"Liam, the hellhound is headed to the school, so we're headed to the school. Okay?" Stiles said slightly annoyed before speeding up.

<><><><><><><><><><><><><>

One by one, the four boys climbed out of the jeep. Liam was the last one out and he slammed the jeep door shut. The sound caused Stiles, Dax, and Scott to jump and look at him with a startled expression. Dax looked at Liam with the stupid look.

"Sorry," Liam whispered.

"It's a little late to be quiet now," Dax sighed. The four boys walked towards Argent as he did the same. They met halfway on one of the pathways.

"Where's Parrish?" Scott asked.

"I lost him. He's moving too fast," Argent answered.

"No offense," Dax said as he looked to Argent before looking at Scott, "Why did we stick the human on babysitting? Wouldn't someone who could match Parrish's speed been a better choice?"

"Scott," Liam said grabbing everyone's attention, "That guy's not moving at all."

The five males cautiously walked up to the body. Dax grimaced slightly as they stepped over it. He could smell the blood wafting from the area where the schoolbuses parked. It was fresh, and there was a lot of it.

Dax wasn't surprised when they saw another body, lifeless on the ground in front of the school bus. The bus looked messed up. It had dents, and as they got closer Dax could see the bodies on the inside covering it. They slowly came to a stop.

"Look," Liam said as he looked inside the bus. Dax heard one very slow heartbeat. He couldn't tell which kid it was coming from until he moved. All of the bodies were right on top of each other.

The kid stuck his hand up weakly, "Help... me," He breathed as he reached towards them.

Scott stepped closer, but Dax stood in his place. He could handle himself but the blood covering the bus was tempting. He decided to play it safe.

"It's a trap," The hellhound said as it walked out in front of the small amount of the pack that had shown up.

"Please," The kid begged from inside the bus. Dax frowned as he looked at the kid's condition.

"You can't help him," The hellhound looked back to Scott and Dax before turning back to the bus.

Dax flinched as a loud rip tore through his ears. Under the bus, he could see that the boy had been ripped in half and his upper half had been discarded at the front of the bus on the ground. It had his intestines hanging out. The Beast took up most of the bus once it showed itself. It had bright blue eyes, and it was surrounded by a grey-ish smoke.

"That's big. No one said it was that big," Stiles muttered from behind Liam.

"I did," Liam said quietly as he nodded.

The beast growled at Parrish. Parrish roared as he lit on fire. The Beast ran through the school bus and busted through the windshield as Parrish ran beside the bus. The two ran into the woods with Parrish chasing after it.

"What the hell is happening?" Scott asked.

"It's getting smarter," Argent said lowly.

"Wonderful. It's big, probably immune to magic, and it's getting smarter," Dax muttered as he looked in the direction the beast had run in.

Happy Mother's Day.

I have been at the beach this weekend. That's why there haven't been many updates. Once I am back home, I'll only have a few days of school left. Once summer hits, I can update all the time because I'll have a ton of free time.

The next update will probably be on Tuesday since I have so much to do Monday night.
