❝ in times of doubt, would you still trust him? ❞

It's already passed four in the afternoon as Daisy pouts at her own father all dressed up for work. The girl slowly waddled towards Doyoung, hugging his knees and asked to get carried in a soft tone. Your eldest instead received a soft kiss on her cheeks coming from him.

She sat down on the floor of the living room quietly, quite sad on the thought her dad doesn't have work today but turns out he does. Her eyes trailed down towards Doyoung's figure walking to the couch, the vampire cooing at you and Dopyo snuggling and sleeping soundly, getting tired on playing for two hours straught. She watched him ruffled the little boy's hair then saw Doyoung placing a soft kiss on your forehead as he fix the blanket you and your youngest has before he proceed to the kitchen.

Daisy stand up and followed her dad, walking like a cute penguin for no apparent reason. She arrived at the kitchen, witnessing her uncle Ten and her dad whispering something only the two males know. The two exchanged smirks at one another before Doyoung makes his way back to the doorframe, ruffling Daisy's hair and telling the little girl to behave.

She watched her dad disappear first and after that she walked towards the half, staring up at him. She wondered what did the two talk about but have no courage to ask, maybe it was some adult stuff again like how everyone says it.

Ten stare down at the little one and scoop her up to sit on his lap. The girl being too nice for the day and didn't even complain. The half looked at  Daisy, thoughts wondering how she favors Taeyong more than him. He suddenly know how to get the girl to talk about it without formally asking it to her. "Yow Daisy, Taeyong told me he have a present for you."

Hearing the said uncle and the word present instantly made the girl look at him with glistering eyes, interested to know more. "Where is it, can I see uncle Tae?" she asked nicely, using her charms to convince the older.

"He told me he'll give it to you when you tell me what you love from him."

Your eldest rolled her eyes at her uncle and is well aware now that she's getting tricked into telling why she favors Taeyong more than her other uncles. Most of her uncles are the same but something from him is the reason why Daisy adores the male so much. Taeyong always listen to her little rants and knows every single detail that you may not even know. It was a little secret that the two have and the vampire respects the little girl's request. "But I always treat all of you the same?" she question out loud, still can't get it on why Ten always makes it a big deal that he isn't the favorite uncle.

The half stopped bugging the little girl about the uncle issue and stay quiet. Ten was bored (when was he not bored anyway?), the male holding onto Daisy's arms and swinging it, making random noises. He can't help but to look at the little girl with awe, smiling all to himself at how cute the she looks. "You know, you remind me of nugget, baby." He purred and hug her little waist.

The girl stared up to him, knowing that he's pertaining to you and yet, she can't help but to ask about it. "Why do you call mom nugget uncle Ten? Mommy isn't food." she mumbled as she pouts.

"But for your dad she is food."

"What are you talking about?" Daisy scoffed in disgust, eyeing on the male like how Doyoung does everytime the half does something stupid or anything in general.

The half faintly laugh, dropping the food topic now before it will damage the kid's innocence and you'll be attacking the half being accountable on it. Ten then shifted into a softie on talking about you. "I call your mom nugget because she's so cute, like you." he pinched her chubby cheeks and glad that the girl is a good mood to let him be. The half then started telling stories on how he adores you and cherish you with love. Ten telling your daughter how he often teases you, clings on you and make you piss but despite of that, he genuinely cares for you because he treats you as his sibling— no, he actually treats you as his own child if Ten was being honest with you but he never said that out loud.

Daisy never know how deep the connection you have with her uncle, often times you and Ten joked around and bicker for no reason. The girl is finding the dynamic you and the half have simply beautiful. She listened all the stories he could offer, interested and is all ears. She never knew that you once got into the girl's shoes when Ten teases her, bullies her and get annoyed on skin ship, already getting why you smile everytime Daisy gets irritated on the half. Your eldest involuntary smile, realizing how loved you are with Ten. You're basically the child Ten and Johnny wished they have and that's why the couple often treats you like a kid when literally you have kids.

The quiet time on Daisy letting the half hug her was now disturbed when you woke up and went to the kitchen, hair messy but you tied it on a bun. Your drowsy eyes meet the two sitting across the kitchen, eyes looking at your newly awake state. You stare at Ten who put the girl down and told her that you and the half will talk. Daisy nodded and exit the kitchen immediately, making your focus onto Ten fully.

Your eyes flinch when Ten teleported for a second, only to comeback and having a lollipop on his mouth and shades on his eyes. You glance at his questioning moves, sitting down in front of him. "What do you want to talk about?"

Ten immediately changed his aura into something he believes that acts like a detective who knows a lot of tea (but  for you, he looks like an idiot.) The half gripping onto the stick of the lollipop and putting it away from his mouth, head bending down slightly and his shades did the same action, his eyes showing at you. "If I were you, I should be keeping an eye on Doyoung all the time." He stated with a sharp glance.

"You know something, don't you?"

"No, I'm just suggesting it to you."

"Ten, stop the act, just go to the point." You requested, propping your arms on the dining table, eyes showing how unamused you are on the half. "I have kids to deal with, I don't want to play games."

The half didn't react to your statement and continued looking onto you, right hand pulling up his shades. You tried reading his thought but you have no idea what's his intentions are. The male saw your expression and couldn't help but to smirk. "I told you what I wanted y/n."

"And why will I do that?" You asked in a dazed matter. This is so sudden and you can't help but doubt Ten right now. "Is there anything I don't know off, Ten?"

"Oh y/n," Ten cooes and throw the poor lollipop onto the dumpster, teleporting beside you as he plays onto your long black hair. "You know how men are, one moment they say they'll head over heels on you and the second after you realized they's just a fraud and played with you." He muttered with a mysterious smile, fingertips combing your hair.

It didn't take a minute for you to understand what he means and you immediately shake your head. "He would never do that." You defended, crossing your arms and quipped a brow at him. "That would be stupid of him to have an affair when he literally have kids to look forward to at home plus, we all know how much he loves me anyway."

"And besides, why are you telling me this when if it is true, you could have beat him up already." You replied with irritation. You were finding this non sense. "Also shouldn't he be scared since, it's him versus you, dad, Kun, Jaehyun, Johnny, Mark and Taeyong? All seven of you against him." You stated a fact. You know thee mentioned males were protective over you, cherishing you and doesn't hesitate to hurt Doyoung if ever he did try to hurt you even for the tinniest bit.

The half stand up and ruffled your head, removing his smile and is now showing an emotionless face. "It's all up to you y/n. Continue to trust him or start keeping your guard up and suspect him." Ten glance at you one last time and left you all alone with your thoughts debating if you'll start worrying or not.

It's been two days and Doyoung has been cold towards you. Not only he's giving you a cold shoulder, he act as if you never existed on his life. No skin ship, kiss, nor any interaction, instead he ignores you completely. He's like the vampire he is way back then, but this time much worse because he barely shows up at home and always been arriving late which you notice clearly.

You're currently on the living room, legs crossed and is sitting on the floor. Your eyes were at the twins playing in front of you, but your thoughts were roaming freely. You're petulant on your boyfriend being cold, it isn't like him to avoid you this long and the fact it's still on going is making you on the edge of your feelings. You don't want to doubt him which in fact you trust him a hundred percent but it was tempting now, you really don't know what to believe in and questioning your sanity on why aren't you freak out about this.

Of course, you wanted to confront him about Ten's sudden accuse on him cheating but you didn't, but by choice you reamined calm. You shouldn't give in onto your emotions. You two have kids, three years old who barely understand the world. You don't want the kids to worry on something they shouldn't be concern on the first place. Also the fact the twins are easily frightened on their parents fighting. You sigh, this will be hard for you but as long as the kids doesn't know anything, it will be fine perhaps.

Your thoughts then shifted on the possibility on your boyfriend cheating, which sounds very much impossible to begin it. First off, you know he loves you too much and it's implausible to him to suddenly act like this, he's been whipped for you the day before Ten broke out the issue. Second, he's a knowledgeable man and knows the consequences he'll get if ever he did cheat, the first and worst consequences is the twins being broken by it and you know he doesn't want that. Third, he's too busy to give a damn to another person and both of you know how much a family person he is.

The last thing you know which is connected to the third reason is, you're well aware that no woman works at the corp. It's not that Taeil doesn't allow woman to work for the corp, it's just that most women is afraid on working there because the neos looks intimidating and you can't blame them for it. You once got scared on most of them before and it's quite reasonable.

With that being said, you wonder why Ten would ever say such a thing. If it is true, Ten wouldn't have told that to you and called every neo to beat Doyoung up because of it. No joke, most neos love you and treat you like a little sister and your boyfriend is conscious about that. Johnny, Taeyong and Jaehyun made it clear for the stubborn vampire who'll he deal with when he managed to mess with your feelings and attempt  to hurt you.

You started to feel that you shouldn't be worrying on Doyoung and his actions, you should be worrying if ever they are planning sonething you don't know yet.

You went back to reality when you heard Kun called your name. The vampire sat down with you on the floor, seeing you in distress makes the older worry for you. "You alright kiddo, you seem off today." He whispered because he knows it will worry the twins if ever they heard him.

"Do you have any idea what Ten and Doyoung is up to?" You asked quietly, eyes focus on the twins to check if they were looking at you. Once you see the twins were watching a tv program, your eyes went back to the older. "I have a feeling that they're tricking me on believing something false." You raise your concern.

"The two have been close and isn't fighting which is extremely odd. Usually the two bickers at the office." He replied with his dimples showing, biting the bottom part of his lip. The vampire then recalled his memories, remembering any interactions he have with the two males. "Why what's wrong?"

You then open up about the concern you have for the past few days to the vampire, narrating the event that took place two days ago. He listen attentively, nodding through time to time and kept biting his lips. He understand where are you coming from and he's also questioning the moves of the said half and your boyfriend.

"Why would Ten tell you he's cheating when literally, we all know that he should have called reinforcements to beat him up without you being aware."

"I know right. Ten's being suspicious." You groaned quietly and it made the vampire giggle.

Speaking about the said male, the half suddenly showed up. Ten have his hands on his red coat, walking down the living room and saw two pairs of deadly eyes glaring at his not so innocent soul. He then stand in front of you and Kun, a brow raised at the two of you. "Why do you guys look at me as if I'm part of a conspiracy?" He scoffed.

"Because you are, idiot!" Kun whispered-shouted, not wanting to kids to hear him.

"I have nothing to do with that and I'm speaking nothing but the truth." Ten defended himself and huffed, sitting on the floor with you and Kun. He letcout a long sigh, playing with his own coat for the time being. "And besides you guys look at me as if I'm tolerating that vampire to cheat on my nugget."

"But you act like you are tolerating my boyfriend to do it?" You replied with a uncertainty. Why can't Ten admit the truth already? "Just tell me the truth, please." You mumbled.

"All I know is I need to go back to work and Kun-ge is being called on the office." Ten hissed and look at you, seeing you disappointed and sad that he can't say anything to you. But what can he say anyway? "I'm sorry nugget, but I really don't know anything. See you later then." He sighs and immediately disappear.

The vampire stared at your dismay and frowned. "Maybe you should keep your guard up kiddo, we never know if he is right." He suggested making you shock at his words. You stare at him, looking onto his mind to check if he's involve in this but no thoughts are shown. "I'll tell you something if I found out, okay?" He smiled weakly before he disappear at your sight.

And that's when you felt everyone is being secretive and suspicious making you have trust issues on what to believe or not...
